In addition to freedom and camera prowess, the Insta360 GO 3 also takes stability seriously. With FlowState Stabilization technology the first-person videos or the action recording will all be jitter and shake-free, no matter the orientation or speed you are using it. And with a specified battery life of up to 170 minutes, the Insta360 GO 3 keeps you shooting for longer without interruptions. Additionally, remote, hands-free voice control, and live preview functionality make it easy to control the camera in real-time. Whereas to enhance the shooting experience, GO 3 comes with a versatile magnetic design and a range of handy accessories.

This camper trailer expands to sleep 4 people and haul all your outdoor gear with it

The GO Camper is a towable, lightweight camper that can attach to vehicles of any size, even a Mini Coop.

‘Tis the season for camping. The frost is gradually melting and the sun is coming out, it’s about time we pitch our tents and load up on some propane. Different destinations call for different camping equipment. While a trip to Olympic National Park will require, heavy-duty, waterproof shelter, you won’t have to worry about the rain on a trip to Joshua Tree in southern California.

Designer: SylvanSport

SylvanSport, a USA-based, outdoor adventure goods company, developed their GO Camper to brace all elements while also providing an accessible and versatile living space while getting off the grid for a bit. Described by National Geographic Adventure as the “Coolest. Camper. Ever,” the GO Camper is a super lightweight, towable pop-up tent camper that can accommodate up to four people.

The creatives at SylvanSport care about providing accessible outdoor equipment first and foremost, so the GO Camper has some pretty handy perks. Towable by design, the GO Camper can be attached to vehicles of all sizes, even the tiny Mini Cooper. When campers are ready to set up camp, the GO Camper also comes with all the accessories needed for seamless assembly.

When attached to your car, the camper trailer can also hold an ATV or bikes inside the multi-height trailer bed. Kayaks and additional bikes can also be fastened to the roof rack for extra storage. When campers are ready to deploy the tent, the GO Camper folds out to provide two beds, two benches, and a table within an interior space that comes with 6 feet and 6 inches of headroom.

Included with the GO Camper, an equipment rack provides extra space to keep all the accessory equipment that will make maximize any camping trip adventure. Since the tent is waterproof and spacious, it’s the ideal place to konk out after a long day of river rafting or kayaking. Internal airflow keeps campers cool and prevents the muggy feel that comes with other tents on the market.

Each GO Camper comes included with one equipment rack, one crank handle, eight frame pins, one tent pod, three tent poles, two panels for sleeping, four sleeping pads, four support poles for the bed, two table panels, one gear deck, one tailgate step, one tailgate bungee, one storage box, two storage box keys, one stabilizer jack rod, and four ratchet straps.

When unloaded, the camper weighs 840 lbs.

The GO Camper has a maximum standing height of 77 inches.

This panoramic windowed teardrop camper brings in tranquil views for nomadic adventurers

Camper trailers aim to get nature lovers closer to their eternal happiness by interacting with nature in its primary form. Recent motorhomescampervans, and even horse trailers have evolved from a simple carriage to an aesthetic and functional powerhouse. Teardrop trailers also edge towards that trend, but the Panorama Shelter by Kip Caravans takes things even further. The purpose-built trailer for nature-obsessed nomads has big panoramic windows on each side to bask in the grandeur of natural settings – to wherever the road takes you. The design is a concept prototype stage –developed by Kip in close quarters with the designer Karel Bodegom, the Netherlands Bureau for Tourism and Conventions (NBTC), and a number of Dutch suppliers.

The large windows of Panorama Shelter blur the divide between the cozy inside and the tranquil outside. Windows make up the chunk of the sidewalls, a skylight brings in ample sunlight during the noon, the big front door is majorly glass, and the side facing the vehicle too has a huge panoramic window. For times when you need total privacy, there are integrated blackout and roller screens. The pop-up roof can be pushed up a little to let in ambient sounds. The teardrop comes with a flexible kitchen for indoor and outdoor cooking and a sink faucet that also functions as an outdoor shower. An induction cooktop too draws power from an onboard 240-V power outlet and a mini-fridge to store all the eatables. The stow-away portable toilet suffices the daily needs for an extended trip.

This camper is built for two people’s adventurous life on the road. It has a dual-bench front dinette that doubles as a bed and can be folded up to create space for hauling bicycles when needed. Additionally, the teardrop camper makes good use of available space in the form of little storage compartments. To top it all, Panorama Shelter’s awning expands the usable living space – plus it is very easy to set up or remove.

These crocs designed with a paracord, carabiner and compass double as a survival kit

Crocs have been in the limelight this year, striking partnerships with popular celebrities like Bad Bunny and Justin Bieber that sold like hot cakes worldwide – while also collaborating with names like Beams and Dead x Chinatown. The designer crocs have been eye-popping (for better or worse) and going with the momentum, they’ve struck another partnership to design a pair of crocs worthy of a hip adventurer’s closet. This time around it’s New York-based designer Nicole McLaughlin, known for her upcycling and sustainable fashion crafts, who’s given the classic clog silhouette a makeover, visually and utility-wise. According to her, “A single sentence shouldn’t define an item, we should be finding ways to tell stories through what we create.”

Dubbed the Nicole McLaughlin x Crocs Classic Clog, they are a part of the third and final collaborative release from the Project Greenhouse x Crocs in close quarters with Foot Locker’s innovative division. Pushing the classic clog boundaries, the partnership brings, “comfort to post-rock climbing and the outdoors,” inspiration that’s, “rooted in cozy functionality.” The crocs are in a way an all-in-one survival kit – with add ons like a headlamp, stuff sack, paracord, small bundle of rope, compass, and carabiner. To make sure these things are securely stored during treacherous hikes, there are ankle-high maroon and olive green gaiters that should also double as weather insulators and ankle support. These gaiters have two pockets on the heel for storing small items and one of them even has a zipper for keeping safe your cash or maybe a flintstone.

If need be the accessories on the crocs can be removed at will if they make a too loud appearance when not needed. None of them add to the weight of the crocs which is utterly important during long hikes, and that’s a good thing. The crocs are an overkill, stuffing all the goodies into the small form-factor, and for a price tag of $79.99, they sure are a worthy bargain. Be mindful though, since the crocs are for casual wear only, don’t even think of using them for a professional camping expedition in harsh winter!

Two architects, their dog and a repurposed Scottish Lifeboat on a 5,000 km journey of a lifetime!

The journey is more important than the end or the start – and the core intention behind any adventure one embarks on, is determinant in how well it pans out. Architects Guylee Simmonds and David Schnabel wanted to explore Norway, away from the shackles of mechanical daily life, and then something remarkable hit them. Simmonds got the idea of buying a commercial lifeboat – revamp the rig for their adventure to travel 5,000 km to the Norwegian Arctic, exploring the fjords of Norway – a journey from Sussex coast to the Arctic Circle!

“It was our desire to explore Norway and its thousands of islands from the water and we wanted to combine that with our interest in design and the opportunity to convert a utilitarian space,” Simmonds said. The duo dug hard and finally bought a 100-person survival lifeboat on board the CalMac ferry MV Clansman at an auction – and it was in good condition to get going. Only the hard work began then – they had to tailor the vessel, aptly named as “Stødig” (sound and steadfast in Norwegian) – for the long journey. It took them a year to implement all the changes – right from redesigning the interiors like the sitting area, kitchen, toilet and cockpit to redoing the outdoor space including replacing the original tarpaulin with a fiberglass cockpit. “As we were doing a long voyage, we wanted to make sure we were able to get to the bottom of problems quickly,” Simmonds explained.

Finally, they realized the dream of their life – starting their journey which was initially just planned to be an extended hiking trip to Norway. Both were satisfied with the adventurous rebuilding process and then the fun began. They brought a third surprise passenger – Simmonds’s Nova Scotia duck tolling retriever Shackleton and the journey began traversing along the south coast of the UK, then towards the Dutch coast and finally arriving into Bergen. Their ultimate adventure – exploring 3,000 km of fjords, islands, and exploring the remote landscapes of Norway!

When winter arrived, the trio settled in Tromsø – Simmonds has joined a local architect’s firm while Schnabel continued to work from the boat. During the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, David’s had to fly home to the UK and at that time Norway shut its ports to foreign nationals. Now the duo is waiting to get back and going for another adventure to the Northern Norwegian coast for this year and then later they have plans to sell Stødig to someone who will take the stellar lifeboat on adventure unknown in the future!

The whole journey of the lifeboat and the adventurous men who made this possible is going be released as a documentary film on October 18, 2020, exploring the niche idea of slow adventure to the mesmerizing Norwegian coast. You don’t want to miss that one, do you?
