Your desktop, console, and mobile games all in one place… that’s the vision behind the LUDI controller

The LUDI is an incredibly ambitious concept that could easily be every gamer’s wet dream. Imagine having one console to rule every gaming platform. Your Google Stadia games, Apple Arcade games, Microsoft xCloud games, Steam games, all in one device. LUDI is a handheld controller that docks your phone into it, turning it into a renegade Nintendo Switch, but with the capability to work across platforms. The device comes with an aesthetic that’s comfortable to look at an even more comfortable to hold, with all the controllers you could possibly need, from a D-pad, dual analog sticks, XYAB buttons, and two shoulder buttons on each side. LUDI’s independence makes it work across platforms, compatible with both Android and Apple phones, while its internal slider allows it to expand to fit XL phones too. It comes with its own audio-unit, with speaker grilles on the back to give you rich gameplay audio, and even packs a large battery pack and wireless charger that keeps your phone powered for longer while you’re gaming, because the last thing you need is a low battery notification while you’re in the middle of an intense, nail-biting battle with the enemy, am I right??

A Delivery Service That’s Kind on the Environment!

There are some days where we just don’t feel like cooking, and at these times it is likely that we will turn to the two-wheeled delivery services that weave through the congested city streets with staggering efficiency. But what if we could utilize this ever-growing service, and harness the power from the sheer number of riders to improve the world around us? Well that’s exactly what Aira has been designed to do!

Aira is a sustainable delivery scooter that features a purifying stone to contribute to the elimination of atmospheric pollutants! The stone, which has been developed and patented by PVT is prefabricated using recycled materials, further increasing its positive impact on the environment! Surely a material as cool can only be found on a product that looks the part? Well Aira certainly does; its tubular design with a matte finish features eco-conscious airless tires, which absorb impact and provide comfort when riding across the worn streets of a busy city!

A Sustainable delivery scooter

Aira is a sustainable electric scooter for food delivery mainly. By using the paths of thousands of delivery every day just in China, Aira contributes to the elimination of atmospheric pollutants thanks to its purifying stone (see details below).

Purifying Stone

This stone is made from a special high resistance concrete prefabricated called ecoGranic. It’s a technology developed by PVT. It actively contributes to the elimination of atmospheric pollutants.

This technology is very efficient in the elimination of nitrogen oxides (NOx), volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and particulate matter (PM). This prefabricated product is environmentally friendly. It is produced with recycled materials, among others, especially from construction and industrial sectors.

Sustainable Process

ecoGranic combats pollution through a process similar to the photosynthesis of the plants.

ecoGranic is made in two layers. Attending to the composition and thickness of the surface layer, it guarantees a high decontaminating efficiency during more than 25 years, in spite of the usual abrasion processes. It turns damaging gases into harmless compounds for human health and environment, through a natural oxidation process, chemical agents free and with an endless effect in time.

Airless Tires

Tireless, durable and eco-conscious, Aira’s tires are supported by a mesh of spokes that are made of thermoplastic resin. The material is flexible and durable, and best of all, it’s 100-percent recyclable! This flexibility allows Aira to absorb impacts during the delivery and to provide a greater driving comfort.

911 for Coffeeheads

da2_01

If you’re one of those people (like me) who can barely make it to 10:00 am without getting the shakes, this design is for you. An evolution of the original, the aptly named “Daily Addiction 2.0″ makes no apologies for satisfying those ubiquitous caffeine cravings.

Whether you’re in the car or on a camping trip, the portable design makes it possible to enjoy a hot cup of coffee just about anywhere you can get your hands on water. Simply add coffee or tea to the reusable capsule and fill the kettle section with water. Then, heat your water using the USB-C port on your laptop, power bank, or wall adapter. Once boiling, give it a twist and watch the water drain down. Keep the black gold to yourself or fill up your work neighbor’s cup!

Hey Nintendo! VR Waiting!

switch_vr_1

I can’t stress any harder on how much the Nintendo Switch VR needs to be a reality! Aside from its cool factor, it’s also perfectly built to fit well into the VR case, and comes with detachable controllers, making it perfect for its use! Admitted the controllers don’t come with spatial recognition, and the Switch may or may not have a gyroscope built in, or the power to run VR games seamlessly, but it makes complete sense for Nintendo to enter VR. Just how the Wii absolutely dominated the motion sensing market, and how the Gameboy has always been the true pioneer of handheld gaming, this seems like the perfect chance for Nintendo to show everyone who’s boss in an absolutely nascent department that’s definitely here to stay. Don’t you think?

Any Nintendo execs reading this??

Thought you knew everything about VR?

shadow_vr_1

Gaming’s seen quite a marvelous evolutionary journey from then to now. The next step’s obviously VR. Oculus redefined immersive gaming, and HTC Vive took it a step forward. Shadow VR shows that the future is still incomplete. VR is nothing without reality, and Shadow VR brings that into play. Designed to provide an experience that is so state of the art, it seems unbelievably natural, the Shadow VR is more than a headset and controllers. The entire kit is highly immersive, containing everything from a depth camera that maps your surroundings, smart wristbands with electromyographic sensors for accurate gesture tracking and control, a CPU mounted on your shoulders so that you can forget about wires, gear with force-feedback tech for tactile feedback, and even a vibration module for enhanced haptic feedback. All this is packaged in an absolutely WICKED setup that allows you to look like an Assassin’s Creed warrior from the future!

What sets the Shadow VR apart from every other VR gaming experience there is how natural this is. When you sword-fight, does it feel natural holding a sword in your hand, or a game controller? The former, I’m guessing. Shadow VR allows you to interact naturally with your environment. Clench your fists and swing your arm when you want to throw a punch. There’s no button for that. Force Feedback will actually allow your hand to feel resistance when your fist hits the virtual enemy. It’s that sophisticated.

Shadow VR also boasts of a MR or Mixed reality mode. That basically allows you to switch to Augmented Reality, allowing you to actually see virtual elements interacting with the stuff around you (like Gal Gadot reading a magazine on your living room sofa). Bachelor fantasies, I say! Shadow VR is definitely the future I look forward to!

Confessions of a Coffee Addict

Like most of you, I’m a coffee addict and love to carry my java with me. The problem with most cuppa joe’s is that they don’t provide for instant gratification, aka brewing on the go. The Nomad Coffee Maker rectifies the situation by being this portable maker that taken in the coffee filter on one end and dispenses the brew into the other (or any cup/container). Practical in its approach, the design also includes a USB connection to power the maker via your laptop or wall socket. Very Clever!

In The Mood For A New Laptop?

Love this refreshing design for a laptop by Antoine Beynel. It’s got that sexy aluminum finish and neat keys on the keyboard. What makes it stand apart is the customizable integrated sleeve that becomes a part of the computer. This ways you can protect your laptop and carry it with ease. Another striking feature is the way the ports on the side can be hidden and protected while traveling. Very cool!
