This Giant Plush Baby Yoda Is Huggable and Sittable

Grogu (aka Baby Yoda, The Child) was the breakaway star of The Mandalorian. Everybody loves him, and I’m sure Disney is quite happy with their little alien investment, particularly in the merchandising department, where I suspect executives are using $100 bills to light cigars even as you read this. And continuing to cash in on the Baby Yoda money train is this $200 Grogu Hugger from comfortable furniture maker Yogibo.

The giant Grogu measures approximately 3.5′ tall with a 67″ diameter, and features a removable and washable stretch-fabric exterior, with a polyesters/spandex filling firm enough to be sat on like a beanbag chair. Just make sure to stock up on extra frog eggs, because this big boy looks like he can eat a lot of them.

Will I be watching the next season of The Mandalorian from the comfort of my new Grogu Hugger? I suppose that depends on whether or not Santa has deemed me worthy of his nice list and brings me one. I don’t have high hopes though. Or any hopes at all really. It’s like he’s completely scrubbed my address from his delivery manifest.

Bean Bag Onesie: Oh My God, Becky. Look at That Prank!

Each year ThinkGeek runs some of the most plausible products in its April Fools’ Day gags. We sort of love it and sort of hate it. The cool part each year for me is trying to figure out which of the pranks proves popular enough that the company will actually produce and sell it.

I’m calling it for this Sir Mix-a-lot approved Bean Bag Onesie. It sort of looks like a corn-fed Yoshi with a big ‘ol booty. The onesie has a bean bag chair attached to your butt, so you can just park it anywhere.

It might be perfect for all that time spent wishing you could just sit down when out shopping with your girlfriend when the single guy-chair outside the dressing room is already taken. Plus it would be embarrassing enough that she might just let you stay home. The gag listing says its $89.99, which would be cash well spent.

Captain Kirk’s Command Chair in Bean Bag Form

Have you always wanted to command a Federation starship? Now you can have Captain Kirk’s command chair in your living room, only this one will be more squishy. This Star Trek Kirk’s Command Chair Bean Bag Cover let’s you be in charge of your own bridge.

Just fill this cover up with your own stuffing and you are the Captain. This cover is over a yard tall and has plenty of buttons to tap, but you will have to provide the sound effects yourself.

You might not look as cool as Kirk while you sink into this chair, but you will be comfy and feeling in charge – at least until you need help getting up, because you didn’t fill it with enough beads. It’s just $89.99(USD) from ThinkGeek.

Relax on this Pokémon Snorlax Bean Bag Chair

Snore with Snorlax. Snore on Snorlax. Relax on Snorlax. Kick back on Snorlax. Okay, enough Dr, Seuss. This is an official Snorlax bean bag chair that you can lay on. Do I really need to say more?

This is really the perfect place to relax after a long day of Pokémon hunting. He measures almost 4 feet tall and over 2 feet wide. They don’t make Pokéballs that big, so forget about catching this guy and just jump on his stomach and take a well earned nap. He doesn’t mind.

Just remember that this Pokémon is real. Try to keep reality and augmented reality separate. I know it’s hard when things like this exist in your physical space.

You can preorder this Snorlax bean bag chair over at ThinkGeek for $149.99(USD), and you should have it this December. If it looks familiar, that’s because we saw a similar, albeit unofficial Snorlax bean bag on Etsy a few years back.

The Chill Bag is an Eight-Foot Bean Bag Chair

This jumbo bean bag chair looks pretty comfortable and cozy, but I’m not sure you can get back out of this thing once you sink in. Which is fine with me, because I’ll just stay there being comfortable. The Chill Bag measures a whopping 96 inches in diameter and 34 inches tall. You may find the bones of someone else inside when you climb up to get on it.

The Chill Bag is filled with an original and comfortable furniture grade memory foam blend, and covered with microsuede. It includes an ultra durable inner liner and a child safety zipper to keep the stuff inside from getting out. It will fit two adults, so they should actually call it the Netflix and Chill bag.

It is pretty much the perfect piece of furniture. It’s available from Amazon for about $500, and comes in a variety of colors.

Custom Star Wars Bean Bag Boards: Stay on Target!

I’m not sure if anyone still plays this game, but if you do, it goes by different names depending where you live. Some of you might call it “Cornhole” if you live in some place like Tatooine. Others might call it a “Beanbag Toss.” Whatever the name, these custom Star Wars boards will make playing the game extra nerdy.

These Star Wars themed boards made by redditor qwertyslayer are a great way to play the game. I would suggest playing it with beer. Lots and lots of beer.

Qwertyslayer created both light and dark side boards featuring Darth Vader and Yoda, so no matter which side you are on, you are covered.

Hamburger Beanbag Looks Good Enough To Eat

Hamburger Beanbag

Plop onto this uber comfortable beanbag after a long day at work to relax, unwind, or take a nap. You might even dream about the meal you’re about to have… not that burgers or fast food is anything to dream about, but a hot meal is better than nothing. Golden buns, tomato, lettuce, juicy-looking patty– sounds good to me.

It’s available for about $100.

Pikachu Bed Puts Geeks to Sleep

Out of all the Pokémon, Pikachu is the most famous by many accounts. Not too long ago we talked about a life-size Pikachu toy that was made to the official dimensions of the creature from the Pokémon specs. Today we have another stuffed Pikachu, but this time out he is clearly not to official dimensions.

This Pikachu is more like a giant beanbag and is designed to sleep on. The massive yellow rodent weighs 33 pounds and is fitted with a washable cover. It appears that it has a yellow pouch that you can use as covers too. Apparently, it’s not an official product, but it will probably appeal to Pokémon fans nonetheless.

Pricing in Japan is 39,800 yen, or about $371(USD). I wonder how much that is in Pokédollars.

Bean Bag Iron Throne: A Song of Beads and Foam

The Iron Throne in Westeros is not supposed to be comfortable. Those swords that jab you when you sit in it keep you alert, therefore alive for another day. But who wants to poked and prodded by their own throne? Well, now you can have your very own Iron Throne and sit in comfort.

Nerd by Night has turned the Iron Throne into an epic bean bag chair. If you want one like it, you’ll have to make this throne yourself, but that beats going to war and having to pay the iron price, right? To make one, you won’t need any valerian steel, but you’ll need to cut and paint fabric, sew it into place, and stuff it with foam and bean bag beans. When you are finished, you will have a comfortable throne.

A comfortable throne that still looks badass.
