Game Of Thrones House Sigil Bow Ties: Game of Bows

Ever since Doctor Who made bow ties cool, they have shown up in all kinds of forms. The latest in bow tie fashion are these Game of Thrones house sigil bow ties. I can’t exactly see Eddard Stark (for obvious reasons) or, well, anyone from Westeros wearing one. Still, you can enjoy them.

These neat bow ties are made by Etsy seller 2Marys and come in House Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Targaryen and Arryn styles. All you have to do is choose your sigil and wear it proudly.

‘Doctor Meow’ Bow Ties are for the Coolest Cats on the Block

The bow tie is part of Doctor Who’s signature outfit. He always dresses so sharply and his dapper look isn’t complete without that distinct bow tie. Now your cat can share that same look, thanks to the advent of Doctor Meow.

These are tiny, elastic bow ties in various colors featuring a variety of patterns that fit most felines. They were created by print designer Crystal Dennis from the Real Art creative studio. Crystal explained that she got the inspiration for the bow ties from the hit show.

Question for artist: Does your product have a fun story behind it? If so, what is it?

Answer: The 11th Doctor Who is a bowtie-wearing Time Lord from Gallifrey. If he’s getting flack on his style choices he’s like, “What? Bowties are cool!” (…or a Stetson, or a fez).

Budweiser Releasing Bowtie Shaped Cans: the 11th Doctor Rejoices

For some reason – probably because they are all closet Doctor Who fans – Budweiser has decided to introduce a bow-tie shaped can. Drunks everywhere are suddenly feeling all classy.

The company has been developing the can since 2010 and has made major equipment investments at its can-making facility in Newburgh to make the 16-step process to create the cans better.

But why make a weird shaped can and go through all of the trouble? Well, this new can holds 11.3 ounces of beer, compared with the traditional 12-ounce can. If enough suckers buy this they will probably eventually save millions by offering 0.7 ounces less for the same price. The company says the new can won’t replace the traditional Budweiser can, but I’m sure that if they have enough sales, they would love to sell you fewer ounces of beer.

The new bow tie cans will be available in a special 8-pack nationwide starting May 6.

It comes naturally to some guys while others considerably find it a whole lot harder. I’m talking about tying ties and knotting bows. I’m a girl, so I can’t relate, but I’ve seen friends, cousins, and co-workers struggling with the seemingly simple task of putting on a tie and making sure that it wasn’t on backwards or sideways.
