These clever salad tongs can lock into one another to turn into a handy citrus-juicer

It’s admittedly not the most obvious idea ever, but now that I look at Peleg‘s Juicepair salad tongs, I can’t help but wonder why nobody’s ever designed them like this before?! The tongs come with an interlocking design that turns them into a handly citrus-juicer when joined together. However, when you’re done drizzling your salad with lemon juice, just pull the tongs apart into two spoons and toss your greens with them!

The Juicepair’s 2-in-1 design makes it handy during use as well as while storing them. When interlocked, it’s easy to stash them in the drawer without worrying about one of them going missing, and while in use, the dual-purpose design makes the tongs the perfect set of tools for juicing citrus fruits, tossing/stirring food, or even serving up tasty meals.

Obviously, you’re not limited to just salads. You could use the Juicepair to generously season your pasta with some citrus before tossing/stirring too… or while making yourself some incredibly hearty salsa or guacamole!

This Knuckle-ring citrus-juicer lets you make lemonade like a gangster

Don’t get any ideas, tough guy, the only thing this Ring Juicer is meant to threaten is your Vitamin C deficiency. Designed by Object Rights, a quirky design studio based out of New York and Istanbul, the Ring Juicer is a ceramic wearable that fits on your fingers, allowing you to pummel the juice out of a lemon, lime, orange, grapefruit, or tangerine (add your own citrus fruit to the list). Available in multiple colors, the Ring Juicer adds a fun, almost sadistic element of interaction as you literally get to torturously extract the juices out of your fruit of choosing (I believe it’s pretty effective), and when you’re done, it sits neatly on its flat surface, adding a bit of visual zing to your kitchen worktop.

Meet the Conchiglie – a quirky little lemon squeezer that’s inspired by pasta!

Imagine you’re Jon Favreau. You have Scarlett Johansson sitting on your couch looking decidedly seductive, admiring you as you prepare a hearty bowl of Spaghetti Aglio e Olio as a midnight snack for the both of you. You’ve strained the noodles, prepared the garlic oil, mixed it all together, and sprinkled a bit of parsley all over. All the dish needs is a dash of lemon, and you bust out the Conchiglie lemon squeezer to finish your pasta with a bit of tang… it’s all just perfect!

The Conchiglie is a neat, conch-shaped device inspired directly by the conchiglie pasta. Colored in yellow and molded out of food-grade silicone, the Conchiglie comes with a hollow inner that’s perfectly sized for a lemon-half. Slip the lemon in and squeeze it from the outside and the Conchiglie does a wonderful job of juicing the lemon without getting your hands all sticky and messy. The silicone construction gives you the friction and grip you need, and a tiny strainer at the end of the conch helps catch the lemon seeds as you juice away. And when you’re done impressing miss googly-eyed Scarlett Johansson, just chuck the Conchiglie in a dishwasher and it’ll clean right up! Although you should probably discard those lemon seeds before you do…

Cactus, meet citrus!

cactus_juicer_1

Part decor, part appliance, the Sonora is an adorable little piece of faux greenery to liven up the place… and it juices citrus fruits too! By the virtue of its shape (and a pretty neat observation on the part of the designers), the ceramic cactus not only serves as pretty neat decor, sitting rather well on a countertop or a table, but it also makes a pretty incredible juicer, allowing you to extract juice from citrus fruits thanks to the cactus shape, and collect the juice in its planter-esque receptacle that can then be poured out into a glass or a jug. The ceramic build doesn’t stain or react to the citric acids, and is dishwasher friendly too!
