Corsair Puts An Entire Keypad On Its Latest Wireless Mouse for Shortcut-Loving Gamers and Professionals

The Scimitar Elite was announced in 2020 as a zero-compromise wired gaming mouse. Three years later, it gets its biggest upgrade in the form of a wireless-enabled design with 12 programmable keys underneath your thumb, practically rendering your left hand useless.

With a total of 16 keys built into its design, the Scimitar Elite isn’t your average wireless mouse. It’s designed for precision, complexity, and functionality all wrapped up in one ergonomic package that keeps you firing on all cylinders without pausing to do so much as sip some coffee. The Scimitar Elite Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse is a productivity beast, with its highly responsive hardware that minimizes any kind of lag, and a 12-button keypad right underneath your thumb that can be programmed to either switch between weapons or toggle features within gameplay or trigger macros and shortcuts in work apps and software for a streamlined workflow.

Keeping hyper-functionality in mind, the Scimitar Elite boasts an edgy yet ergonomically sound design that’s a pleasure to hold, with curves that fit perfectly in the palms of your hands, textured grips and scroll wheels for reliable use, as well as an adjustable slider that lets you position those 12 shortcut keys to fit the length of your thumb and your overall mouse gripping style. In signature gaming style, the mouse sports a matte all-black design, barring the RGB-LED elements in the keypad and the rest of the mouse that give it a distinct glow, making it visible in the low-light settings associated with hardcore gaming or editing.

The mouse has a grand total of 16 programmable buttons, with the ability to create multiple profiles that you can quickly toggle between. It all happens within Corsair’s iCUE software that lets you program macros and remap buttons for different use-cases. Whether it’s in a game or in a 3D/graphic/video software, the different keys and custom layouts has you covered so you can do all the work with your dominant hand. Looking for precision and responsiveness? Optical switches eliminate debounce delay for the most accurately tactile clicking experience, while the ultra-accurate Corsair MARKSMAN  optical sensor has a sensitivity of 26000DPI to give you the most precise control over your cursor. The Scimitar Elite connects to devices via Bluetooth, although it’s best paired using its USB receiver that runs on Corsair’s SLIPSTREAM protocol, hyper-polling at a whopping 2000Hz for sub-1ms speeds.

Although built to be wireless, the mouse does also support wired use. For wireless users, however, you’ve got a whopping 150-hour battery life that makes it a compelling choice to begin with, with a 100% full charge in just 90 minutes.

CORSAIR Platfrom:6 Modular Computer Desk is the ultimate customizable workstation for gamers, streamers and content creators

CORSAIR might have just created the most insane standing desk you could wish for. Yes, a modular desk tailored for PC gamers, digital artists, content creators, streamers and professionals from all walks of life who spend a lot of time in front of the screen.

The elegant accessory revealed during Gamescom, instantly peps up any work-from-home setup or for that matter even an office setup if your organization is generous enough. Called the CORSAIR Platfrom:6 Modular Computer Desk, it’s designed to leave nothing to chance. Something right out of the Hasbro universe.

Designer: CORSAIR

The desk comes with a range of attachments including RapidRoute cable management system, monitor arms, in-desk storage cubby with built-in USB Type-A and Type-C ports. The addition of more accessories to the desk is possible with the modular rail system, so you’ll never be left longing for more. That’s what we presume comes with the base model of the desk.

Creator Edition offers even more like the motorized height adjustment and the option to map height presets for particular times of the day. This version also includes 30 x 70cm side extensions for a wider work area, hanging pegboards for headphones, gaming controllers, or anything else you can hook on. Since the desk supports Elagto’s multi-mount range accessories, you can attach cameras, lights and microphones too.

Clearly, Platfrom:6 offers more than any other desk on the market and it’s like a dream come true for streamers who always crib for more space and option to expand their accessory set. In fact, this could be the last PC desk you’d buy for a long time to come, as it even offers the users the ability to 3D print custom accessories to be used with the desk!

If already you’re excited, the Platform:6 desk backed by five years of warranty is coming in the fourth quarter of this year for an undisclosed price. What’s known, so far indicates the desk will come in black laminate or dark walnut-stained rubberwood.

Add a Touchbar to your keyboard with this sleek, infinitely customizable touchscreen gadget!

The Touchbar on the MacBook honestly felt like a solution without a concrete problem. It was designed to be a highlight feature without a highlight purpose, and was probably reduced to being something that people used just as a volume slider while watching videos. The Touchbar, in my opinion, failed because it lacked the two C’s – Context, and Customizability. CORSAIR’s iCUE NEXUS fixes that with its infinitely customizable little keyboard attachment that does anything from work as a miniature app launcher to a control panel, to even an always-on ticker tape that lets you see your computer stats or the GameStop stock price!

The CORSAIR iCUE NEXUS forms a modular add-on to CORSAIR’s line of high-end performance and gaming gear. The nifty little gadget can be used independently or snapped right to the top of a selection of CORSAIR keyboards, turning them into command-centers. Powered by the company’s iCUE software, the gadget’s screen can be entirely customized, fitting as many as 6 different buttons or modules into it to suit your needs. You can create custom layouts that change based on the program you’re running, and the capacitive-touch display lets you do everything from tapping to sliding. The screen measures 5-inches diagonally, and comes with a resolution of 640×48. The iCUE NEXUS’s power, however, lies in its contextual flexibility, letting you control practically any aspect of your computer with it. As mentioned earlier, you could use it to launch programs, but you could even control options within each program, changing features, display settings, or even controlling your computer audio with it. Moreover, it ties in with CORSAIR’s other equipment too, letting you customize and change color layouts on your keyboard, mouse, and desktop, activate or mute your headphone’s microphone, or even monitor your machine’s performance and control aspects like fan-speed, etc. With the ability to customize up to 256 screens at once, the iCUE NEXUS promises to do what the Touchbar could not. It focuses heavily on context, while giving you an infinite world of customizability.
