Intelligent Hydration is Here

The LifeFuels Smart Nutrition Bottle takes hydrating to the next level. Ideal for athletes and elite performers, the innovative design syncs with a dedicated smartphone app to provide real-time and historical drinking data as well as personalized hydration recommendations. By taking the guesswork out of how much you should be drinking, you’ll stay thoroughly quenched and perform at your best.

The bottle is made up of three parts: the bottle itself, the FuelPods and the LifeFuels app. The user selects three FuelPods and easily inserts them into the bottom of the bottle. Using either the app or the button on the bottle, the user can dispense precise servings according to their taste and nutritional goals. With a variety of flavors and active ingredient types, it transforms your water from an obligation to a reward.

Microphone, meet Modularity!

korus_mic_1

I didn’t realize what a game-changer the Korus Microphone could be until I saw it. This concept microphone explores two of the most exciting domains in electronics. Wireless-ness, and Modularity.

Imagine having just one microphone take care of all your recording needs? Depending on what you’re recording, all you need to do is swap the microphone head and base and you’re good to go. The Korus uses a standard wireless module and multiple microphone heads that just snap right on. Want to record your voice? Snap in the microphone with the pop-filter (ideal for vocal capture) and you’re ready to go. For instruments, you could switch to the directional recording attachment. You could even switch to the outdoor mic module for, well, outdoor recording. The Korus even explores modularity in the bases too. Ranging from a clip-on base with a gooseneck for pointing it in any direction, to a vice-mount for mounting onto instruments, to a tripod-stand mount, to even a easy-to-grip microphone handle base, the Korus leaves no stone unturned.

However, the true magic of the Korus concept lies in the middle component that acts as the binding unit. This takes care of the recording as well as adds the wireless feature to your microphone. You set the mic up using the Korus app, allowing you to control multiple Korus mics (trust me, that’s a big deal) all within one single interface. Since going wireless has certain limitations, Korus uses a router of sorts that plugs into your tablet and interfaces with the microphones, making sure there’s no audio hang-up or latency.

The Korus is designed to take the hassle out of audio recording. Setting up for a recording can take up to hours even without the sound-check (which takes even more time). The Korus uses modularity, and a brilliant interface to give you all the power while taking out the headache of organizing and setting up out of it. Let’s hope this one doesn’t remain a concept for long!

The Night Light Nanny

lumin_03

Night lights and baby monitors are must-haves for parents and little ones alike. Lümin combines both into one hybrid unit designed to grow up with baby.

Controllable via a mobile app, it features an HD camera that you can control remotely. The wide angle lens allows you to take in the whole picture with adjustable zoom functionality.

As your baby grows up, it can be taken on your child’s nighttime adventures, whether its going to the loo or checking for monsters! When removed from the dock the auto align feature remembers to rotate back to how you first setup the camera, so it’s always ready to record in the proper position.

Never Get Lost at Sea

coastal_00

Time is the plain and simple difference between life and death at sea. This is especially true for water sports enthusiasts like surfers and skiers who put themselves at peril for the activities they love. The Coastal Beacon and Buoyancy Aid offers a streamlined solution that jumps into action in the event of an emergency.

The wearable device fits comfortably on the arm and can be triggered by the wearer in seconds after an accident, being caught in a riptide, or finding themselves stranded. Once triggered, a flotation aid is released and a GPS location alert is sent directly to the Coast Guard for immediate rescue.

Fly (and sleep) Like a Bird!

nest_01

Why suffer through air travel when you can Nest?! Designed for both comfort and storage, the Red Dot Award winning Nest Airport Bed gives you peace of mind that your belongings are safe while you rest up.

It supports you like a hammock through the use of an elastic fabric mesh, while the internal storage compartment is accessed through a zip on the top. Before lying down, simply unzip the top of the Nest bed and deposit your belongings inside. Zip it back up and when you lie down you know that someone can’t simply walk off with your bag while you sleep.

The fabric mesh has been designed so that the contents of the bed are always visible. This enables airport security to verify there is no unattended luggage or any suspicious items hidden. Additionally, Nest is lightweight as it is comprised simply of a tubular metal frame and fabric mesh. This enables it to be moved around easily and positioned in appropriate areas of the airport.
