‘Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’ arrives on January 17th, 2020

When Bandai Namco said Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot was coming in early 2020, it was clearly being conservative. The action RPG is now slated to punch its way to PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 17th. On top of that, completists should be happy -- the gam...

Dragon Ball Frieza Plush Boss Cushion Gets in Your Way While You Type

Fans of Dragon Ball know that Frieza is kind of a jerk. After all, he’s ruler of Universe 7, and raised up an army to wreak all kinds of havoc on the Gods of the Universe. Now this purple-headed a-hole can get in your way when you’re trying to use your computer too.

Dressed up like a Japanese salaryman, this version of Frieza is designed to sit on your lap while you try to get work done.  Sure, he’s soft and squeezy, but he’s also got a big head that’s gonna block your view unless your computer’s display is on a stand. He also comes with his own keyboard, which doubles as a wrist rest for you – so at least he’s good for something.

If you have a soft spot in your heart for Frieza, or just love weird stuff from Japan, you can order the plush over at Japan Trend Shop for $91. If you happen to be in the area, you can find it for quite a bit less direct from Premium Bandai.

‘Dragon Ball Project Z’ is now ‘Kakarot,’ arriving early 2020

If you've been jonesing for a Dragon Ball Z game that wasn't a straight-up 2D fighter, you're in luck. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot (formerly Dragon Ball Project Z) is coming to the Xbox One and PC sometime in early 2020. There aren't many details availabl...

Fools Paradise Wolfool X Figure Sees Wolverine Taking a Much Needed Arcade Break

Last year, boutique toy maker Fools Paradise released Lowfool vs. Lowfool, a pair of figures that depicted Superman and Batman playing against each other on arcade machines. The second batch of Lowfool vs. Lowfool features an arcade legend himself: X-Men’s Wolverine.

As with the original Lowfool vs. Lowfool figures, Wolverine has a mustache and is playing a Street Fighter II parody arcade game as himself. Wolverine is bare-handed but the figure comes with his gloves, which in this incarnation holds his adamantium claws.

Fools Paradise is selling the Wolfool X figure for $255 (USD). As you can see, Logan’s opponent is not Cyclops or Sabretooth but Son Goku in his Super Saiyan 3 mode. That figure is already sold out, but of course you can find it on eBay.

Dragon Ball Z Dragon Ball Set: Go Ahead, Play with Your Balls

Dragon Ball Z fans will want to get their hands on these balls. They are replicas of the Dragon Balls from the show and come in a display box, so you can properly contain and show off your balls.

There are seven balls in the display set and they are made from acrylic. That means if your balls slip out of your hands while you’re fondling them, and they hit the floor, they won’t shatter. Each of the balls is 2-inches in diameter and weighs in at four ounces.

The set of Dragon Balls will cost you $69.99 on ThinkGeek and they are available now. And no, these won’t summon Shenron if you are wondering.

Interactive Dragon Ball Z Scene Plays out on Coffee Cups

Must of us need at least one cup of coffee to fully wake up in the morning. In ample quantities, caffeine can give us the energy to help us create some really cool things. It must have been the caffeine buzz that helped inspire Japanese artist Shinrashinge to create this awesome Dragon Ball Z animation using coffee cups.

To create the scene, the artist drew on three stacked coffee cups with cutouts, that when turned, create an awesome comic book adventure.

He sure knows how to draw too. After a couple of cups of coffee, everything I draw looks like it was done by a kindergartner with a crack problem. So I’m in awe of people who can draw cool stuff like this. Pretty awesome.
