No matter whose house you go to to watch the Super Bowl next month, you can bet there will be some chips and dip on hand to snack on. This is where this new Tostitos chip bag comes in.
This unique bag has an alcohol sensor built in, and when you blow into it will glow with a green image on the front or a red one that says “Don’t Drink and Drive.” The special bag was made by Goodby Silverstein & Partners and while it’s not designed to replace a real breathalyzer, the aim is to keep people from driving drunk, and to increase awareness of the problem.
The bag has NFC tech inside as well, so you can tap the bag with your phone and call an Uber. Tostitos is giving $10 of the Uber ride as well as part of a team up with Uber and MADD. It’s not clear if the bag will be offered in all markets.
