Tostitos New Super Bowl Bag Really Is All That and a Bag of Chips
No matter whose house you go to to watch the Super Bowl next month, you can bet there will be some chips and dip on hand to snack on. There might even be some Tostitos tortilla chips to slather in queso or guac. I’d also wager that some adult beverages might be involved in washing those chips and dip down. This is where this new Tostitos chip bag comes in.
This unique bag has an alcohol sensor built in, and when you blow into it will glow with a green image on the front or a red one that says “Don’t Drink and Drive.” The special bag was made by Goodby Silverstein & Partners and while it’s not designed to replace a real breathalyzer, the aim is to keep people from driving drunk, and to increase awareness of the problem.
The bag has NFC tech inside as well, so you can tap the bag with your phone and call an Uber. Tostitos is giving $10 of the Uber ride as well as part of a team up with Uber and MADD. It’s not clear if the bag will be offered in all markets.

Don’t Drive and Drive: This PSA Will Scare You into Sobriety
A good PSA leaves a lasting impression and makes the person watching it choose to follow what’s being advised in the announcement. An excellent PSA, on the other hand, manages to do that and go viral as well.
Guess which descriptor best fits this PSA on drunk driving that was made by London’s Department of Transportation.
So many people lose their lives because of drunk driving, whether they’re the ones behind the wheel or the ones out in the streets at the wrong place, at the wrong time. To drive the point across that people shouldn’t drink and drive, London’s DOT decided to scare the crap out of a bunch of guys who were using the bathroom at the bar (or should I say pub?) they were in.
As they wash their hands, a bloody mannequin smashes through the window complete with sound effects.
I guess the DOT decided to go the “scare ‘em into sobriety” route – or at least make them never want to wash their hands again. What do you think?
