Amazon has introduced the new Fire HD 8 tablet in the US. Measuring 9.2mm thick and weighing 341 grams, this budget-minded tablet has an 8.0-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, a 1.5GB RAM and a 16GB (11.1GB available to user) or 32GB (25.3GB available to user) of expandable internal storage (up to 200GB).

Apart from that, the tablet also sports a VGA front-facing camera, a 2MP rear-facing camera, a built-in microphone, a 3.5mm stereo jack, a 12-hour battery life and integrated stereo speakers (w/ Dolby Audio technology).
