This Hair Dye Changes Color with the Environment

You often have to walk far to see that both men and women of all ages like to dye their hair bright colors today. I’m more of a shave the head so I can wear hats without having to comb my hair type of guy, but this is some of the coolest hair dye I have ever seen.

FIRE dye comes from a company called THEUNSEEN, who says that it was inspired by occult fashion, whatever that means. The hair dye has color changing pigments. They say the dye is responsive to your environment, which is to say that it changes color based on fluctuations in the temperature. The dye is semi-permanent, which means that it will last through a few washes before it must be reapplied. That sounds more like temporary to me.

Colors can run the gamut from black to shades of red, orange, and blonde. It’s very cool and the video is worth watching. Its makers are currently looking for commercial partners so they can produce and market the dye.

Hair Dye for Dummies!

Anyone who’s ever been through a hair dye disaster will dig this design! Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon to end up with a color tone that’s different from what you desired. To prevent such a situation, the Color Pick device helps anyone achieve the exact color tone desired by taking the pre-colored hair color into consideration. First, the camera identifies the hair color. Then, it determines how much hair dye the user needs. For example, if a bright hue is desired on a darker hair colour, the user should add more bright hair dye, and less, if the pre-treated hair color is brighter. The next step is to enter the color tone as desired into the equipment, after which Color Pick will mix the different hair dyes with the help of different color models (such as the CMYK model) to calibrate the right hair coloring for the user. In other words, Color Pick will be able to achieve an accurate color tone as desired by mixing the exact amount of hair dye needed.
