Rapid Charging on a Roll

기본 RGB

I love my partner’s cute little electric Fiat, but it’s honestly a total nightmare keeping it charged enough to get around our sprawling city! Just today, we ran out of juice and had to camp out at a Whole Food Market just to make it home! If only we had the Wheel Battery. Forget regenerative braking, this harnesses energy created by the turning wheels during operation.

This means you’re less likely to get stranded and won’t be in a bind if you just happen to forget to plug in one night! Better yet, you can see exactly how much charge each in-wheel battery has directly on the face so you’ll always be able to tell how much supplemental power you have available in case you need to make a longer than average journey.

Phone-Charging Curtains!

solarblind_01

The Solar Blind is one of those designs that’ll make you wonder… “Hey, why didn’t I think of that?!”. This design transforms everyday blinds into a multifunctional, efficient way to harness the sun’s energy. Whether it’s at home, the office, or even in a coffee shop, users can tap right into clean electricity to power and charge their devices.

Solar cells are attached to each slat on the blind, creating an entire system that’s capable of storing and converting solar energy into electrical power. While large roof-mounted solar panels can be expensive and difficult to install, Solar Blinds only require a window to absorb solar energy and generate power.

3 Peas in a Charge

arrangement_pea_01

As useful as multi-tap power extensions might be, they will inevitably leave your wires a mess and your aesthetic a total wreck! The Arrangement PEA offers one simple solution for tidying up cables directly on the unit.

While the base is made from hard plastic, the cap covers are made with a malleable silicon material that can be easily flipped and inverted. To use the Arrangement PEA, simply flip the cover upwards to expose a spool – then, wind the wire around the spool before flipping the cover back into its original state. The wires will be hidden and kept clear of the surrounding area!

Arrangement PEA is a 2015 Red Dot Award winner.
