This Custom Star Wars Rey’s Blaster Fires Glowsticks

If you’ve ever wanted a blaster that looks like it is actually firing lasers, Joerg Sprave is your man. He has come up with a clever way to simulate blaster fire. There are no actual deadly lasers here, so no worries about shooting your eye out. Instead, he uses glow sticks in his replica of Rey’s blaster from Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

As with all of Sprave’s builds, this replica is completely custom, so it won’t be for sale. But he does go over the details of its construction if you want to build one for yourself. It looks like all you need is basic woodworking skills—and access to some good elastics. Put in a little hard work and you have yourself a cool laser shooting blaster, and an awesome cosplay accessory.

Obviously, it especially looks great in the dark. You can build two of them and have a kick-ass laser blaster fight in the backyard when the sun goes down so that your neighbors think there’s an alien invasion. Hopefully, they aren’t in the mood to fill aliens full of buckshot. Good job as usual, Joerg!

The Full-Auto Crossbow Is a Reality

You have to love The Slingshot Channel’s Joerg Sprave. He comes up with all kinds of crazy DIY weaponry. This time around he’s created a fully-automatic crossbow. This has been a dream of many a weapon loving geek and now it actually exists.

Crossbows have not really gotten much of an upgrade for centuries, so Joerg created this awesome new version of the weapon. It’s strange looking, but deadly. If someone pointed this at you, you might even laugh, but you won’t be laughing once it starts firing, as it quickly turns you into a human pincushion.

If Robin Hood were a gangster in Chicago, he would use this.

Joerg Sprave’s Pokémon Pumpgun: for Real Life Pokémon GO Hunting

You catch Pokémon with your phone? Pfft! This guy catches them by shooting them with a pumpgun. By this guy, I mean Joerg Sprave, owner of The Slingshot Channel. He created an awesome Pokémon pumpgun for real life Pokémon hunting.

It shoots Pokéballs and even has a mount for his smart phone that he uses to aim. The gun is designed very well and does the job adequately. God bless you sir. We don’t need any more of these pocket monsters in the wild.

I hope you catch them all. If there’s anything left of them that is. Maybe dial down the explosion on those Pokéballs a bit.

The Full-auto Coke Bottle Gatling Gun

I can’t think of a better weapon for the zombie apocalypse than this full auto Coke Bottle Gatling Gun. Also, I definitely want the guy who built this, Joerg Sprave, with me as I fight off the horde. This gun packs a punch!

Joerg demonstrates his fully-automatic arrow-shooting gatling gun in this video. He made it using pressurized Coke bottles to provide the force behind the arrows. It is impressive to see it in action. You can unload the whole barrel or shoot them one at a time. Check out the video to hear about how he made it too.

I’m convinced that this guy can make a weapon out of anything. Another awesome job Joerg! I’ll take two as I hunker down in my anti-zombie lair.

Oreo Separation Gun Separates the Cream from the Cookies, Sorta.

We’ve been having fun with the viral marketing campaign that Nabisco has going right now and have seen all kinds of ways to separate the Oreo cream from its cookies. But the one thing we haven’t seen is a gun that can accomplish this important first-world task. Well, get ready to see the Oreo-separating shotgun.

This creation comes from Joerg Sprave who you will know from The Slingshot Channel on Youtube. He knows his stuff when it comes to weapon building, and has built an impressive gun to separate the Oreo cookies from the cream. A pump-action Oreo shooter. Just load some Oreos in the top and they fire from the bottom muzzle section.

This weapon hold 14 Oreo cookies. Just pull the slide to load one in the chamber, then pump it and unleash one of its delicious cookie bullets. So how does the gun separate the cream from the cookie? Okay, it doesn’t really. Well, it kind of does. When cookies hit an object, like a wall, it all splatters nicely and is separated. Just not in a way that is neat and edible. Joerg also tried to put a box-cutter blade inside the barrel to see if it would split the cookie neatly, but all he ended up with was a bunch of crumbs. Still, the idea of a gun that fires cookies is loads of fun.
