Xenomorph Folding Brass Knuckles: Faceburster

Etsy seller Kilroy’s Attic makes folding brass knuckles designed to look like the Xenomorph from the Alien movies. I wouldn’t want to face a terrifying space creature that thinks I’m an incubator with just a melee weapon, much less one that only works at point blank range. It’s really beautiful though.

It starts out as a ring, but unfold it and you get full-length knuckles.

One drawback to its design is that you can’t switch it between its two sizes in a single motion. You need to remove the alien’s head to lock the unfolded knuckles into place. Also, it’s not actually made from brass – it’s constructed from pressure-cast dyed resin, with sturdy strands of test line to keep the hinges working.

You can order the knuckles from Kilroy’s Attic for $55 (USD).

iPhone KnuckleCase Gets Real – Make a Fist!

A couple of weeks back, I spotted an iPhone case that looked like brass knuckles, but it turned out to just be a conceptual design. But for those of you who liked the idea of turning your phones into weapons, there’s good news – another company is already offering up their own take on the iPhone knuckle case – the knucklecase.

The knucklecase works with the iPhone 4 or 4S. It’s made from solid aluminum – so it would definitely hurt if you punched somebody with it – though probably not much more than if you hit them with your bare iPhone. From the looks of things, it’s a bit more compact than the iKnucks concept, but they definitely add some bulk to your phone. That said, if you’re going for a knucklecase, you’re doing it for the looks, not for the practicality. At least you know with your fingers through the holes you won’t lose hold of your precious phone.

So make a fist, and head over to knucklecase and be prepared to part with $99(USD) if you’d like one.
