An All-New Cube Computer

cube_00

Cube is a modular desktop PC case that safeguards your motherboards while making it easy to customize and upgrade. The model features two variations, “Slim” and “Bold,” that are built to house the Intel NUC board computer and full-size ATX motherboards respectively. Using standard components, it’s also easy to upgrade. The minimalist, monolithic shell features a frosted exterior that allows the inner workings to peek through. As an added bonus, a wireless charging lid allows users to simultaneously charge their phone simply by placing it on the top surface.

Tractors in 2040 sure look intense

amb_00

I never thought I’d say this, but I actually prefer this tractor concept over my own car… errr… almost any car, for that matter. It’s called the Valtra H202 and it’ll put your hooptie to shame!

Designed as part of the Valtra Design Challenge, the vision is for the year 2040. As clean as it is mean looking, it’s powered by an advanced hydrogen fuel cell/electric engine that results in enormous, consistent torque. As fun as it looks to drive, it’s meant to rely on autonomous operation, remote control via app, and laser guidance to enhance safety and efficiency in the field. Despite its aggressive, ultra-modern look that’s almost reminiscent of a monster truck, it’s an obvious evolution of the archtypical form of the tractor, making it instantaneously recognizeable.

Evolution of the iMac

iMac_arm_layout

Predicting a shift to ARM processors, designer Lorenzo Mariotti imagines a new breed of iMac that’s faster, quieter, slimmer and more efficient than its predecessors. Aside from an all-new processor architecture based on 32-bit reduced instruction, the new look features thin display bezels, the introduction of FaceID, an ultrathin chassis, and AirPower integrated into the base. The AirPower integration is an interesting addition that would allow users to charge new Magic Mice, Trackpads and Keyboards as well as iPhones and AirPods wirelessly. Other features include a backup battery, ultrafast SSD storage, and six Thunderbolt 3 ports.
