Hurdle Hanger for Pants 2.0 removes the stress of keeping your closet tidy

This deceptively simple yet outrageously innovative hanger leaves no more excuses for keeping your room and closet organized.

There seems to be an almost natural compulsion to turn our clothes into UFOs the moment we step out of them, flinging them onto the bed or just cramming them into drawers and closets. Pants are often the victims of this procrastinating behavior because of the complicated way they demand to be hanged properly. Of course, that only delays the inevitable when we have to eventually sort out the mess that has become our rooms. Thankfully, some people have put serious thought, research, and work into solving that problem for the good of humankind. And like many genius inventions, the solution looks so simple that you are left scratching your head, wondering why no one has done it before. Fortunately, someone finally did and has even improved this hanger so that you will no longer lose your pants to the black hole that is your wardrobe.

We got the chance to meet the first Hurdle Hanger in 2019 and were definitely impressed. One of the recommended ways to defeat procrastination is to reduce the friction or hurdles in completing a task. Despite its ironic name, it takes literally a second or two to hang your pants, just the same amount of time you need to fling it to who knows where. The time savings also add up when you consider you’ll be picking up those same pants in the future anyway.

Version 2.0 of this ingenious organizing wonder refines the design while still keeping the signature features that made its predecessor a huge success. For example, it now uses a stainless steel swivel hook, so you don’t have to stress whether you’re hanging your clothes in the right direction. The design is also more streamlined to accommodate more than just your pants. Contrary to its name, the hanger can hold a whole outfit, from tops to bottoms to belts and caps.

The latter is made possible thanks to the signature U-type hook that’s now wider to accommodate more accessories. The Hurdle Hanger 2.0 is still made from high-quality recyclable ABS plastic, so you’re assured that it’s going to last longer than some of your clothes. High-hanging and impossibly thin, the hangers leave more room for your clothes rather than taking up precious space. Plus, the hanger’s open design makes it super easy to hang just about anything you can think of other than your pants.

Whether you need to hang your clothes in a snap or prepare your outfit for the entire week, the Hurdle Hanger for Pants 2.0 removes any and all hurdles to keeping your closet from becoming an unconquerable jungle of fabric. But more than just keeping your living space neat and tidy, it also helps reduce the stress of daily life. After all, the last thing you probably want to do on the weekend is to organize your room, so why not save yourself the time and work by spending just a second or two hanging those pants after you’ve taken them off.

Finally tear-resistant, ballistic nylon clothes designed to use for the SpaceX journey to Mars!

There are few clothing brands that really match the design and innovation in fashion that Vollebak has managed in the last six odd years. The British clothing brand has previously left us in awe with a jacket fashioned to improve the sleep cycle of astronauts, and it is now tapping into the extraterrestrial void with the all-new Mars gear.

Combining the aspects it loves: Vollebak has designed Mars Jacket and Pants for the voyage to the red planet. It is fashioned with the unrelenting adoration for space exploration and crazy material science to solve a problem that is coming in the next few years. So, as the human race prepares itself to colonize Mars, Vollebak has clothing ready for engineers, architects, scientists and explorers who will be heading into space when the time is right. Until then, the jacket and pants are just apt for your next clubbing night back on Earth.

Vollebak, co-founded by twins Nick and Steve Tidball, has been creating clothes for the future and this intergalactic set of jackets and pants is only an extension of that intent. The gear is made from a tear-resistant, ballistic nylon outer shell but it’s absolutely soft and snug and is provided in two: gray and cream colors. Since the clothing is designed to venture to the next planet, it includes anti-gravity pockets to counter the shifting gravitational fields. Realizing that earthlings may experience nausea in their interplanetary voyage, the Mars gear is equipped with a 3D-printed vomit pocket on the chest, which features a removable and cleanable orange PVC vomit bag, should you need it.

Envisioned to facilitate the wearer when they are space-bound for the Moon or Mars eventually, the suit is almost fashionable for Earth-bound adventures too. If you think so, Vollebak Mars gear is available in six sizes from XS to XXL on the company’s website for $995.

Holographic Pants: A Vision of the Future

You know what your closet has been missing? Holographic pants. My closet? My closet is missing a door. And while Düsseldorf, Germany-based Etsy seller ReflectiveClo might not be able to help me; they can help you with these iridescent “holographic” pants that appear to bend space-time in bright light. I can imagine myself getting sucked into a wormhole my pants accidentally created.

Created using ReflectiveClo’s self-developed material, the $79 pants are “one-of-a-kind and so comfortable you will want to wear them all the time no matter the occasion.” Hmmm – no matter the occasion, you say? A wedding? Why not! A funeral? They could always use some brightening up anyways.

Pants not your thing? Mine either! I hate wearing those things. Thankfully, they also sell shorts, jackets, tracksuits, hats, bikinis, and even dog coats made out of the same material. I’m going to be shining so bright I’ll be visible from space. Take me with you, aliens – please!

Jeans with One Giant Pocket in the Rear

Invented by self-proclaimed mad scientist Matty Benedetto of Unnecessary Inventions, One Butt Jeans are a pair of denim jeans with one giant pocket stretching across the rear. That way, you can carry much larger items than with traditional rear jean pockets—things like a whole six-pack of soda or a laptop. And I’m pretty sure I speak for everyone here when I say where have these been all my life?

In the accompanying video, Matty mentions that the jeans are perfect for construction workers to load up all their tools. Just be careful sitting down! Or trying to walk without your pants falling down. Definitely wear a strong belt.

Admittedly, not the worst idea. But certainly not the best idea either. If I’m being completely honest, it definitely leans more towards a bad idea than a good idea. And I’m not just saying that because I didn’t think of it first, I’m only mostly saying that because I didn’t think of it first.

Star Trek TNG Uniform Lounge Pants Are Perfect for Comfort in Your Quarters

Before you know it, ice cold temperatures will be here, and you will want some nice, warm pants to lounge around in. These Star Trek TNG Uniform Lounge Pants look geeky and warm. These are perfect for hanging out over the coming holidays thanks to an elastic stretch drawstring waist, perfect for eating big meals.

There are pockets on the front for your stuff, and they are offered in Security Blue, Command Gold, or Engineering Red,  color schemes. Though if you buy the red pants and go on an away mission you will probably be disintegrated in the transporter on the way back. Each pair also has pips on the right side showing your rank with red offering captain pips, blue commander pips, and gold Lt. Commander.

Each pair sells for $24.99 at ThinkGeek and they come in sizes from Small to Extra Large. Like most pants of this sort, they are very long with small offering a 42″ outseam, so expect them to be baggy and casual.

Guy Plays Drum Machine with His Crotch

Looking for the latest in fashion and technology? Check out these Electric Sexy Drum Pants. Their name is completely self explanatory, though the sexy part is questionable. This is a pair of pants with a drum controller pad in the crotch. Making music with these pants requires hitting yourself below the belt repeatedly.

They were created by Japanese multimedia artist and experimental pop music composer Kaoring Machine. This guy’s mom complains because he spends all day in his room, “playing the drums”. I guess he marches to the beat of a different drum.

Toward the end of the video he actually looks like he may be typing the great American novel on his nuts, rather than drumming, but who knows? Are you doing a drum solo or are you just happy to see… yeah, I don’t even want to know.

Borderlands Pants: for Mercenary Work, Cosplay and Birthday Parties

You’re guaranteed to look brutal in these. Order a pair from Déjà Neuf Heures’ Etsy shop for $114 (USD). However, I think the shop only posts one pair at a time. If the pair on display are not in the size you’re looking for, try sending the shop a message. No, not Lynchwood style. I mean an actual written message. Easy.

Nintendo Jeans: A Link to the Pants

These Nintendo-themed pants put video gaming’s power couple on your legs. Wear them proudly and show your love for Mario and Peach. If you want, you can even rub your legs together and make them smooch.

The characters are painted on a pair of Levis, and on the back they feature Link and Princess Zelda. That’s two Nintendo couples on one pair of jeans. Not bad.

Cel-shaded Jeans: Borderpants

As part of her Nisha the Lawbringer costume, cosplayer Kirameku wonderfully painted a pair of jeans to give it Borderlands’ cel-shaded look. From certain angles it looks 96.5% more two-dimensional.

Pants Shirt

pants shirt Pants Shirt
Get your pants and shirt all in one single garment of awesomeness with the Pants shirt. It can be hard to find jeans that fit you but it’s pretty easy to find a shirt that fits you. With pants on a shirt, you get the pants without the hassle of worrying about whether or not they make your ass look huge (they do, maybe you should lay off the second lunch). Pull up your shirt pants even higher than the highest mom jeans.

These crowdsourced shirts come from 4chan or Reddit or both or something like that. You can figure it out. The important thing to note is that you get a shirt that has dungarees right on it. Blue jeans, dungarees, Sassons they say, Sassons they say so much. Now you can finally go into restaurants and other public places bottomless. “Sir, we require you to wear pants in this establishment”. “I’m wearing pants… on my shirt”. Can’t argue with that. I’m still holding out of the jorts shirt.
