Pringles Making Rick and Morty Pickle Rick Flavor Chips

When Rick Sanchez first turned himself into a pickle, things didn’t go very well. But eventually, when he put his immobile body into a rat-based exoskeleton, at least he was able to get himself around. Now you can enjoy the flavor of Pickle Rick in your very own mouth, courtesy of Pringles.

From the image above, they just look like regular Pringles. I was hoping they’d figure out a way to spray them with edible dye and make them look like portals. Also, given that Rick has pickled himself with large quantities of cheap booze, not vinegar and seasonings, I’m not sure I’d want to taste actual Pickle Rick. However, Pringles’ version should capture the salty and sour flavor we’ve come to expect from deli pickles, and not that of a disgruntled and hostile multidimensional traveler.

Those looking to taste Pickle Rick’s Pringles should keep an eye on shelves around Super Bowl time in February 2020, which is when the brand plans on running a special commercial featuring Rick and Morty and their new chips.

Rick and Morty Pickle Rick Figure Is Ready to Take on The Rat King

Growing up, I was famous in my neighborhood for my pickle concoctions. Essentially I did what my dad did when he cooked a steak, simply opened the spice cabinet and put some of everything on the pickles. They were good, and I ate lots of pickles to the point where my dad had 5-year-old me 75% convinced I would wake up one morning and have turned into a pickle. I’d probably turn out like Pickle Rick, only I’d be Pickle Shane.

Check out this amazing Pickle Rick action figure from Funko. It comes with our deranged pal Pickle Rick, and he has a disgusting suit that looks to be made from a rat carcass. The armor is complete with rib cage, rat head helmet, video camera, and wrist drills.

The action figure stands 5-inches tall and comes in a window box for those of you who don’t actually play with your toys. It’s awesomely gross and up for pre-order now for $19.99 at Entertainment Earth with shipping starting this December.

Why Tech Wednesday: This Pickle Rick Gold Pendant is a Crime Against Humanity

Look, I enjoy Rick and Morty as much as the next guy (as long as that next guy isn’t stabbing a McDonald’s employee for some McNuggy sauce), but these memes have got to go. Watching Rick and Morty doesn’t make you genius, remember, it’s just a silly Back to the Future parody.

But now there is Pickle Rick Jewelry, yes now you can own your gold or silver pendant of your favorite mad scientist after being soaked in brine. What has the world come to?

First they screamed “Wubba-Lubba Dub Dub!” and I did not speak out,  for I thought it was kinda funny.

Then they shouted “Get Shwifty!” and I did not speak out,  for I still thought it was kinda funny.

Finally, they screamed “I’m Pickle Rick!” and I cringed, but there was no left to speak for me.

Available for $39 from Midas Gold, just don’t tell I sent you or I’ll deny it.

Pickle Rick Christmas Ornament: I Turned Myself Into an Ornament, Morty!

One of the greatest incarnations of Rick Sanchez in the multiverse has to be Pickle Rick, who appeared for the first time this past August on season 3, episode 3. While he starts off completely ineffective, Pickle Rick quickly becomes a vicious killing machine thanks the suit he cobbles together from cockroach and rat parts.

The first time I saw the episode, I immediately thought about how it’s a common holiday tradition to hang a pickle on Christmas trees, and how a Pickle Rick Christmas ornament would be a great addition to our tree this year. I then went on to completely forget about this idea until I saw this.

Telestic Design is making these fun, handpainted wood ornaments featuring the likeness of Pickle Rick, which will look great hanging in your tree alongside all of your other ornaments. I like the idea of doing a complete Rick and Morty tree, filled with ornaments of Mr. Poopybutthole, Snuffles the dog, Fart, Cromulon, King Flippy Nips, and the rest of the gang. There are certainly enough crazy characters out there to fill an entire tree.

The ornaments are available from Etsy for $10, but I also saw them up on Amazon for just $9.
