This Deku Tree Piescraper Belongs in Legend of Zelda: The Pie Baker
What’s with all of the piescrapers in the kitchen skyline lately? It seems like towering pies are a thing now. I don’t mind though. When pies go vertical, there is more room for pie on the table. Like this awesome Deku Tree pie from PiesAreAwesome.
Like Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin’s previous design, this one is not only a piescraper, it also uses a wire and foil armature to support the branches of the Deku tree. She thinks that this is the first time one has been used in a pie. So they have made pie history. Legend of Zelda history too, since this is the first Deku Tree pie I’ve seen. Amazing. And obviously delicious.
It is a true work of art. That should be devoured until gone. By me. Except the metal bits.

This Kraken Piescraper Is the Deadliest Catch
Whoa! Now this is a pie. Release the Kraken!.. into my mouth! When a pie is so awesome and towers over others, you call it a “piescraper.” Jessica Leigh Clark-Bojin of Pies Are Awesome created this awesome Kraken-themed piescraper.
It is an awesome and delicious dessert creation. According to Jessica, she built it up using a series of engineering and baking tricks to enhance structural integrity, making it stable. You can watch her build it in the video below:
It is a marvel of pie engineering in fact and a work of art. Architectural pies are the best. I have to try one soon.
Steampunk Clockwork Cherry Pie is Gear-o-licious
I’m not a huge fan of most pies this side of lemon, but I’d totally eat this steampunk cherry pie. It looks awesome with a top crust that looks like a bunch of gears and clock parts.
Pies Are Awesome did a great job replicating the look of a watch mechanism, with lots of gears and mechanical bits made from pie crust.
If you’re the sort of geek that likes to cook and eat, you can make one of these for yourself. Check out the video from Pies Are Awesome for instructions on how to bake your own steampunk gear pie.
