The swiveling and adjustable height of this table makes it a great companion to your growing child!

High chairs these days are designed with growing kids in mind. These chairs have an adjustable feature to accommodate toddlers right up to their teens, but what about a table? Here is this niche idea for a table and chair combo that will grow old with a child! Yeah at least that’s how the designer thinks, but how long its wood will last or when your kid or you will get bored of it is debatable.

The brainchild of Korean designer Seunghee Seo, this furniture unit is dubbed Stay Warm – for the bond, it intends to generate between child and parents. This L-shaped single piece of furniture lets you seat the toddler in a dedicated high chair with crotch support, while you occupy the seat on the opposite side. This same level seating across the table ensures you can feed the child comfortably and maintain direct eye contact with your child as the skin and frequent eye contact can “help foster emotional stability and happiness.”

Kids grow really fast and before you even realize your child would have outgrown the high chair and would be ready to move to your seat on the far side. For the kid’s convenience in adolescence, the seat’s height can be easily adjusted so that the furniture can accompany them from infancy to adulthood and beyond. For its robust construction to live out the test of time, Stay Warm is made from wood extracted from Hinoki Cypress native to central Japan. The wood is known for its anti-bacterial properties, which makes this furniture ideal for your family.

This unit can be used at various stages of a person’s growing age. The height-adjustable and swiveling seat makes it convenient to sit and eat or work. So it can be your child’s dining, study, and relaxing furniture all-in-one. Stay Warm comes in a choice of four colors pale green, pale yellow, pale violet, and pale pink. If you’re a new parent, give this one a good warm look!

Blowouts and Beyond!

dryon_00

When I was a kid, my sister was a teenager and our parents would make us share a suitcase any time we would travel. I would get SO angry because she would inevitably pack all her clothes PLUS a hair dryer PLUS a curling iron. There’s was little to no room left for me (and, of course, she was a bully who always got her way). I digress. If only we’d had the DRYON!

This hybrid design marries both functions into one minimalistic and super sleek unit that looks more like a modern art than a bathroom appliance! The curling iron is housed in the center of the square shape and doubles as the power supply for the blowdryer. When you want to curl, simply slide it out to activate the heating mechanism. It’s perfect for traveling (and your angsty teen sister when you go on vacation)!

Healthy Hydration Habits Your Way

family_01

As simple as it might seem, the many different ways people enjoy their water are complex in variety! The FAMILY water purifier was designed with this in mind to ensure everyone in your family is staying hydrated just how they like.

Each family member gets a dedicated smart cup that is identifiable by the primary unit. When placed under the nozzle, the user is identified along with their water preferences like temperature, amount, etc.. Better yet, the dispenser will monitor each individual users water intake using the smart cup system. The FAMILY app on each users smartphone will also give personalized recommendations and track progress to encourage healthy hydration habits!

The Fridge Sucks in the Best Way

zero_01

Vacuum sealers are one of those great ideas that only seems to exist in infomercials because I don’t know anyone who actually uses one. Perhaps if it were built into the refrigerator, it might actually come in handy! That’s the idea behind Zero – a smart fridge that aims to bring your food waste and wasted space down to zero.

A vacuum sealer feature is integrated directly on the door so you can quickly seal and store unused food. Just place the food item in the bag, place the edge into the slot and it will remove air before sealing it. This prolongs the usability of items ranging from meat to fruit, keeping them fresh and protecting them from bacteria. When food is vacuum sealed, it also marks the “best before date” and transmits the type of food and its expiration date to the user’s smartphone so they can easily check expiration dates. This comes in handy when grocery shopping and when deciding what to have for dinner!

As for storage, the buit-in hanging system makes it easy to access packaged items and also make storage more efficient by occupying space that would otherwise be empty.
