When there is money to flash, it seems the richest spenders wouldn’t mind literally sipping a part of it, to make their circles know how they lead their lifestyle. The new way to do precisely that, would be the $40,000 Ruby Rose cocktail, which obviously happens to be one of the most expensive cocktails in the world. Made at the White Barn Inn in Kennebunk, Maine, this precious alcoholic concoction uses vodka as the main alcohol base, added with St. Germain Liqueur, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, pomegranate juice, a dash of rosewater, all on top of a 4-carat red ruby! The reason for creating this expensive cocktail, is the celebration for the White Barn’s 40th anniversary this year. Looks like the Winston 1858 Croizet cognac cocktail at Club 23, the Salvatore Clabrese $8,830 cocktail, Louis XIII Diamond Jubilee cocktail, or the Goring Hotel’s Swarovski glass cocktail aren’t so rare after all!

Golden trees and their charm have primarily been restricted to the Christmas season so far, like we saw in the case of Ginza Tenaka’s Disney Tree and Steve Quick Jeweler Gold and diamond Christmas tree. Now Tord Boontje has glorified the art of champagne service with the Perrier Jouet Champagne Tree, aptly named the ‘Enchanting Tree’, which encompasses a gold leafy structure for having the champagne flutes and Perrier Jouet champagne being served alongside.
