HEY YOU GUYS!: Sloth and Chunk Action Figures Hit Preorder
The Goonies was a classic ’80s flick for kids of that generation who wanted to find pirate treasure and hang out with cheerleaders. Two of the most memorable characters in the film were Sloth and Chunk. You can now get some sweet action figures of them both courtesy of NECA.
Both are fully posable, so you can even make Chunk do the truffle shuffle. The action figures are dressed up in fabric clothing, and Sloth measures 8-inches tall with a pirate hat and knife. Chunk is over 5-inches tall and has a pirate hat and a statue of David with a broken Johnson.
The two figures are sold together in a two pack for $64.99, and Entertainment Earth expects them to start shipping this September.
Custom The Goonies Pinball Machine: Goonies Never Say Drain!
Mike Johnson is a fan of The Goonies, and a fan of pinball machines. So naturally he wanted a Goonies themed pinball machine. So to celebrate the movie’s 30th anniversary, he made this custom made pinball machine. The only known Goonies pinball machine that exists.
Mike loaded this machine with all kinds of impressive details. From the skull-shaped plunger, to the cave, to the sound effects and music from the movie, it’s truly impressive. As a pinball fan myself I can say that it is a true work of art. He modded an existing Hollywood Heat machine and totally revamped the theme.
After it was finished it let others play it at a Goonies themed art show at the BART brew gallery in Orlando, Florida, where a custom-built Goonies arcade cabinet was also on display:
I wish I was in Mike’s area so I could play his machine. He did an amazing job.

The Goonies Playing Cards: Never Say Die or Fold
One of those iconic movies for anyone who was a kid in the 80′s was The Goonies. I love that movie and have seen it more times than I can count. I have also watched the flick with my kids and they like it too. If you are a Goonies fan, you need to get over to Kickstarter and support a project called The Goonies Bicycle Playing Cards.
The project is just what it sounds like, a deck of playing cards that have artwork from The Goonies film. The deck is illustrated by Nat Iwata and have custom Jokers and court cards based on characters from the film.
Renderings of the cards on Kickstarter that will be in the deck show Mikey as the king and sloth as the Joker. The project was seeking $10,000 and has raised over $23,000 with 21 days to go. A pledge of $15 or more will get you a deck of the cards.
The Goonies 2 is most likely to retain older cast from the original movie

Sloth Demands That You Vote for This LEGO The Goonies Set
You would think that LEGO would already have made a Goonies set. I mean, the movie is all about kids having an awesome adventure and so is LEGO. Well, you can help make it happen. There is a LEGO Cuusoo project for The Goonies and the possibilities are amazing.
LEGO builder Lyonsblood has created a Skeleton Scare set, a Fratelli Fracas set, and eight minifigs – including Sloth! Interestingly, the sets look like they have a lot of moving features. Man, they look great. The Skeleton Scare set especially looks good. I wish I could buy them all. Hit the link above for more images.
I’m kind of surprised that Spielberg hasn’t gotten the remaining members of the cast back together again for an adult adventure. No, that sounds wrong. You know what I mean.
If you like the idea of a LEGO The Goonies set, head on over to Cuusoo and show your support now.
