Carbon Fiber Toilet Seat: For High Performance Pooping

I think carbon fiber is one of the coolest materials ever invented. It can be formed into just about any shape, is extremely lightweight, and somehow still very strong. It’s amazing how the physics of weaving fibers together and then fixing them with resin provides such properties. I’ve got quite a few carbon fiber things these days, from a bezel for my watch to the interior of my car to my keychain. One thing I don’t have though, is a carbon fiber toilet seat.

Yes, for just $480, you can have your very own lightweight and durable toilet seat, made from carbon fiber. According to the guys at Carbon Fiber Gear: “The manufacturing process uses the finest epoxy resin system and 550,000 psi tensile carbon fiber. The carbon fiber features a 2 x 2 twill pattern, the weave looks absolutely gorgeous! Pictures do no justice.” That’s a pretty lofty description of something you’re going to sit your bare ass on and poop through. Still, it does look pretty cool as toilet seats go.

I’m not sure how this would look sitting on an ordinary white porcelain toilet bowl though. It would be cool if someone made an entire toilet from carbon fiber. Then again, that would probably cost five grand.

My favorite part of the product description: “Due to the nature of the product, sales are final.” LOL.

This Toilet Seat Was Inspired by the MacBook Air

If you were on a quest to design the perfect toilet seat, what would you base the design on? Likely something that is sleek, elegant and durable. Something like the MacBook Air, which is popular for its visual design and physical properties. You don’t have to worry so much about the hardware specs for a toilet seat though.

The Pinkhouse design studio in New York City was inspired by the Macbook Air and created this new toilet seat. There is one design flaw that I can see and that is that most human butts are round, so good luck. The cover is laser-cut from 12-gauge steel and if you want it can even be powder-coated in the color of your choice.

It will cost you $850(USD). I really hope this is an April Fools Day joke, because anyone who spends that kind of money on a toilet seat is a real idiot and should be forced to sit on it all day long.

Sanrio, the company that owns Hello Kitty, showed this new toilet seat design off at a show featuring new Hello Kitty products in Tokyo recently. This thing is no joke.

Like many fancy Japanese toilet seats, it has built-in heating and several warm water jets to clean your junk. All of the seat’s controls are at your fingertips.

If you like spending money on luxurious items for your butt, this may be a purchase for you in the near future.

Han Sh*t First: Han Solo in Carbonite Toilet Seat

When a smuggler crosses you and drops his shipment at the first sign of Imperial trouble, you can do any number of things to him. Turning him into a carbonite toilet seat is probably one of the meanest. Especially when you consider what kind of villainous scum frequent Jabba’s palace.

I can’t think of a worse place to be stuck in a bathrom. Well, I guess it’s all bad when you are frozen in carbonite and made into a toilet seat. If you are a fan of Han, you can get this toilet seat for $59.99(USD) on Ebay.

It’s custom painted and airbrushed to capture Han’s tortured look as he prepares for yet another “cheeky” visitor.

Adjustable Toilet Seat: One Size Fits All Butts

It’s no secret that there are plenty of significantly obese people on the planet right now and these people face problems that you and I never even think about. Like if they will fit into an airplane seat or even on a conventional toilet seat. And since necessity is the mother of invention, some new toilet seat technology is here to help.

And by technology, I simply mean that this toilet seat expands to fit even the widest of loads. However if your butt is wide enough to use this thing I can’t see how it will help you much. It just looks like it would break – though its maker claims it can support weights up to 1,000 pounds. And if you weigh that much, you’ve got much bigger problems than your toilet seat.

Would any of you guys use this super expanding, fit for all butts toilet seat? It looks like a trap! It’s on sale for $79.99(USD) for a limited time.
