The Referee Is Always Right
Combining the functions of an electronic watch, an indicator, and a whistle, the Time Whistle hopes to be the ultimate match tool for a football Referee. Easier said than done, because given the high passion and spirit of the game, too much precision in decision may not go down well with the fans! A little bit of mind games is good!

Toot Goes the Doorbell: Pneumatic Train Whistle for the Porch
What’s something that you wanted as a kid, but never got to have? The list might be long, and the reasons are many: it didn’t exist; your parents wouldn’t allow it; you didn’t have enough cash; and so on and so forth. But here’s your chance to get one thing from that list: a working train whistle!
You can install the whistle on your porch or by your front door. That way, you can just give the whistle a quick toot when you’re calling your kids if they’re out in the yard or calling guests back to the house. It can also work as a very unusual doorbell and will amuse every guest you have for sure.
While there’s not a video of the exact same whistle, I assume it sounds something like this:
The pneumatic train whistle is available from Hammacher-Schlemmer for $150(USD).

Whistle Straws Let You Whistle While You Sip
Feel like annoying the crap out of your friends? Nothing does that better than these Wet My Whistle straws. First and foremost, their design is based on slide whistles, which are played by blowing on one end while sliding the other in and out. They’re easy to play, but difficult to master.
The Whistle Straws build upon this concept, only you’re supposed to slide the straw in and out of your drink. The varying beverage levels changes the amount of empty space in the straw, which allows you to produce different tunes as you go along.
Suffice to say, you’ll probably regret handing these out to guests at your next get-together, for obvious reasons.

Whistle/GPS for Pets
The guys over at Whistle are upgrading their “fitbit for pets”. You can now know where your dog is at all times.
Whistle was originally designed as an activity monitor for pets. Basically you can see any spikes in activity during the day, or know if that walk you took Fido on was really beneficial for him. Now they are adding GPS to their device. Considering that over 10 million pets are lost each year this is a great idea.
The Whistle device attaches to your pets collar and can record location, rest and activity. So you will still know if your pet is getting the right amount of activity everyday. They claim that the Whistle/GPS is the smallest device of its kind on the market and also has the longest battery life. You will be able to use it for about a week before having to recharge.
As of right now, it looks like you can pre-order one of these for $49, but that price will be going up in the next few days to $130.00. The downside, it won’t be ready for shipping until summer 2015.
