Apple 8K ProCam is too good to be true

Concept Apple products abound, and we don’t think designers will ever stop coming up with gadgets and objects that follow the brand’s design language. Of course, not everyone can be a techie or be able to invent something, but there are creative people who can imagine and put what they have in mind into renders.

This new Apple camera is the company’s first 8K professional camera. Of course, it’s not a real Apple product. We don’t think the tech giant will also pick this idea and transform it into reality because if it happens, then Apple wouldn’t be able to sell their phones fast. You see, this camera concept is compelling with its 8K resolution, professional photography features, M1 processor, and those innovative lenses with Apple mount.

The Apple 8K Professional Camera also offers onboard Siri, StyleWriter Compact Ink-less Printing, a Touch and Tilt rear display, and a Magic Wheel with a touch screen button. It’s like the perfect camera, at least, for big Apple fans, but it’s too good to be true. The Apple ProCam seems like a dream, and it is. However, with Apple discontinuing the iPod series, we doubt it will release another separate product line when the iPhone is already very powerful.

The 8K Apple ProCam comes in a small cube form factor. There is a triple camera system on one side and a slanted display on the opposite side. The small display is touchscreen, and it’s where you can access some apps like the basic Photos and iMovie. The time, battery level, Bluetooth, and WiFi status icons are also seen on the screen.

There is a small slit underneath where the ink-less print comes out on the same side. On both sides are black Apple logos, while on top, there is a cover plus two buttons and a camera dial on one corner. The cover is actually a hidden flash. We’re assuming it only needs a quick press to come out. Underneath, there appear four rubber stoppers to avoid slipping, plus a slot where you connect the camera to a tripod.

The camera is ready for 8K multi-shooting. The camera dial has the standard modes: Auto, Program, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority and Manual options, Video, 3,2,1, and CINEMATIC. Another version presented only has one camera lens instead of three.

The Apple ProCam’s cube shape reminds us of the old square iPod Nano. It’s like the 3D version, so the camera device could also look great in different colors. Sadly though, it is just a concept product.

This iPhone camera inspired mirrorless digital camera makes your photography session distraction free!

Apple’s smartphone cameras remain some of the best when it comes to smartphone photography. While the argument for the best smartphone camera could easily go on for hours, the iPhone’s camera is trusted by many for its high-performance ISP and fast shutter speeds, among other defining features. Taking the best qualities from the latest iPhone camera and transferring them to a digital camera, Nuno Teixeira recently debuted his Apple camera concept that takes on a mirrorless design for a lightweight carry and speedy performance grade.

Mirrorless digital cameras essentially work without a reflex mirror, an angled mirror that reflects light from the lens into the viewfinder. When a digital camera takes on a mirrorless design, light passes directly through the lens to the digital sensor, which displays the lens’s captured image on the camera’s LCD screen. Opting out of including a reflex mirror means a few things. Teixeira’s mirrorless Apple camera would have a much more lightweight feel, a more compact body, and could be a lot more efficient at snapping quick photographs on the go as well as videos. Like the iPhone camera, mirrorless cameras don’t come equipped with a bunch of extra hardware, so some smaller details are left out of the build, making for a digital camera that’s ergonomic in design and easy to carry. In addition to its mirrorless design, Teixeira’s camera also offers a full-frame sensor which means that no part of the image captured will suffer from crop factor due to the camera’s sensors being too small. Best of all, no silly notifications to disturb you while taking that amazing shot!

Supplementing all the perks of a conventional digital camera, including flash, zoom, video-recording capabilities, light meter, and shutter speed adjustment dials, Nuno Teixeira’s Apple camera concept also comes with a waist-level LCD viewfinder for those stealthy shots ready to be taken at any given moment. Built from carbon steel, these cameras have been rendered in white steel, baby blue, and charcoal and even come with in-camera charging features.

Apple’s new iPhone 12 shatters barriers with an Apple watch-inspired secondary display!

No other company’s launch creates a buzz as much as Apple – love it, hate it, but you just can’t ignore it! Promised to launch as soon as September 2020, the internet is already abuzz with rumors about the upcoming iPhone 12 – with most renders showing a throwback to metallic chamfered edges made popular in the iPhone 4 or the iPad Pro. We also hear this design will be Apple’s next major update since the 2017 Apple X – how can that be? Let’s look at designer Furkan Kasap’s concept that has left us excited yet confused!

The iPhone 12 retains the dreaded notch that was established with the iPhone X – and while we look for changes in the screen of the phone, Furkan’s concept makes us look at the camera notch in a whole new way and how! Firstly, the camera bump comes with 4 lenses now (maybe the macro lens is finally coming to the iPhone!) and doubles up as an instant notification panel. The UI of this notification panel borrows heavily from the well established and tested UI that the Apple Watch carries – showing everything from app notifications, widgets, and even your health statistics. We have seen conceptual tech showcasing a glass panel that doubles as a touchscreen, this would be the first commercial implementation of this technology, but one thing we know – if Apple actually does this, most of the newer models are soon to follow suit. The coolness factor of this design aside, the mini-display can help extend the battery life by reducing our dependency on the home screen to check our notifications. It can also double up as minimal time and date display, helping all of us who actually use our phone to check the time without getting distracted by the gazillion notifications that keep catching our attention!

Apple’s philosophy is to usually have a series of incremental changes in the design unless there is a flagship launch where they redefine their parameters of a smartphone. So maybe this concept is not ready for the iPhone 12 but I can surely see Apple experimenting with the camera module – from making it detachable Go-Pro style camera to this rendition by Furkan, which can actually be taken to the next level by making it detachable and that module doubles up as an Apple watch when worn with a trendy strap. Now that’s an iPhone I would gladly shed $1099 to buy!

This Apple-inspired conceptual camera is the bridge between DSLR cameras and smartphones

Ever wanted more than a phone camera but less than an advanced camera? This conceptual Apple-esque iCamera perfectly fits that gap! DSLR cameras can be daunting if you are just starting out but if you want to learn beyond the simple point-and-shoot then this camera is the perfect stepping stone into your visual art journey.

Get those professional shots without having to study the manual and watch several YouTube videos, the iCamera aims at breaking down the complexity of advance cameras to make people comfortable with the idea of shooting with a gadget that is not their phone. “It increases your ability and easily leads you to the world of cameras,” says the designer about the gap he wants to bridge with this concept design. The designer wanted to simplify the existing advanced cameras’ user experience by making the body more compact and lighter. The bulk of the lens is reduced but it still includes the revolving functionality to zoom. However, now you can do it comfortably with just a finger. It also aims to make transferring your files easier through cloud-based technologies – that one tedious task every photographer hates to do but has to do. So say goodbye to HD cards, setting up Bluetooth, and keeping a track of multiple accessories that one usually needs to transfer. It charges wirelessly and has a handy flash that attaches magnetically to the body!

The idea revolves around letting you control everything with one hand. The ergonomic form and intuitive design make the process of creativity flow smoothly. The iCamera was envisioned with the latest technology like triple lenses (wide + normal + zoom) and highly calibrated sensors so you don’t have to rely on carrying additional lenses. It also features WiFi connectivity and eSim so you can share your memories from wherever you are. I love the idea of the iCamera, it is the perfect gateway into advanced photography and the right solution for businesses that have creative requirements which can be met without buying unnecessary equipment. This camera is basically Goldilock’s perfect mid-range choice!
