Batwing Desk Light Is Perfect for Your Batcave

You’re Batman. You work long hours in the Batcave solving the Riddler’s riddles and trying to thwart the Joker’s next attack on Gotham. But it’s not like you’re Catman, you can’t see in the dark. What do you need? Light. And what better way to toot your own horn than a $49 posable Batwing desk light inspired by your own plane?

Standing almost 24″ tall, the lamp is USB powered and bright enough to intimidate a criminal when you’re shining it right in their face during an interrogation. Where did you plant the bomb, Two-Face?! Answer me!

At first glance, you might not think Batman and I have a lot in common, but believe it or not, I actually spend a lot of time in a dark cave as well. Well technically mine is just a basement and I don’t fight crime there I only play video games, but still. Plus we both have secrets. Sure his is a secret identity and mine is I ate the last of my wife’s favorite cookies then tore up the packaging and littered it around the house and blamed the dogs, but my point is we’d probably both be killed if the truth were known.

Batwing R/C Plane: The Dark Flight Rises

R/C toys are fun. Whether it’s driving, flying or navigating the the waterways, it’s all good. It’s even cooler if you are capable of customizing your R/C craft. R/C hobbyist Chris Allen knows a thing or two about that, having built this awesome 70MM EDF JET powered Batwing from scratch.

It not only looks awesome, it also really flies and flies fast too while flipping around in the air. Chris has been building and designing R/C planes for the past 10 years and right now he is into scratch-building anything to do with Batman. My kind of builder.

Now he just needs to build a Joker plane and take the fight to the skies for the ultimate flying duel. Make sure you watch the videos. This thing is amazing in flight. I’m sure would have your Batman action figure pulling massive Gs in the cockpit.

LEGO Batman X-Wing Fighter: The Dark Night Meets the Light Side of the Force

Have you ever wondered what it might look like if Batman piloted an X-Wing and destroyed the Death Star? Sure, we all have. I imagine it would look something like this.

This custom x-wing fighter/batjet was created by LEGO mastermind Kevin Ryhal (aka M<0><0>DSWIM). Now I can only imagine what the Joker’s TIE Fighter might look like. As you might imagine, Batman’s story has changed just a little bit. “After Bruce Skywalker’s aunt and uncle are killed by the evil Darth Joker, he learns the ways of the Force and becomes the Bat Knight, vowing to fight crime across the galaxy and defeat the evil Empire!”

That is a pretty sweet LEGO ride. I think the Astromech should have been done up in Robin’s colors though. Great custom ship!
