Tesla Shocks The Internet with A Cybertruck Cat Tray That Could Either Be A Bed Or Litter Box For Your Pet

As much as I love spending time with my own cats, I’m honestly running out of ways to keep them entertained and prevent them from knocking down an item or two in my home, out of sheer boredom. If you’re pretty much in the same precarious situation as me and are always looking for new ways to keep your pet cozy, comfortable, and happy then you may want to check out Tesla’s newest product…a Cybertruck cat tray! Nope, I’m not kidding, a $13 Tesla Cybertruck Corrugated Cat House is really available for sale on the Chinese version of the Tesla website!

Designer: Tesla

Measuring 56x41x25cm, the cat tray is inspired by the angular shape of the Tesla’s electric pickup truck, although to be quite honest there’s nothing really techy or cyber about the tray – it is a simple cardboard box. It is said to have a futuristic shape and is embedded with thick corrugated paper, allowing it to serve as a multifunctional space for your cat to move around and lounge about in.

Although there are a few disputes on the internet, since the URL of the product page states ‘cat house’, while the product description says ‘multi-functional cat nest’ when translated to English from Chinese. So, many people are assuming it’s a cat tray or bed, while some say it could be a litter box. But, multiple images on the Internet show, that most of the kitties out there prefer to use it as their personal little bed to cuddle up in.

The cat bed can support up to 15kgs, so it can accommodate cats of various breeds and sizes. It has been constructed from various layers of moisture-proof corrugated paper, making the bed resistant to moisture. You need to install the cat bed by yourself since it is DIY, and once the product has been folded and installed, it cannot be returned unless there is an issue with the quality. Whether your cat uses it for sleeping, scratching, or pooping, the Cat House does seem like a functional although quirky product from Tesla, and we wonder what was brewing in their heads when they came up with this one!

This pet carrier that doubles as a bed is a cozy burrow your pal’s bound to find comforting

Little pals in our life deserve the best health and world of exposure. As concerned parents, we leave no stone unturned to ensure the same within the four walls. However, it is always not the same outside.

Traveling with pets – whether to the veterinarian or on a flight overseas – is not a comfortable experience, especially if you don’t have a pet that’s friendly with her carrier bag. Now, either you can step up your game and train the pup to enjoy the safe confines of a pet carrier, or even better, get her a carrier she would love to burrow in.

Designer: Olga Orsel

There is a plethora of options on the market that vouch to be convenient to carry and comfy for the most restless pets. When it comes down to choosing one for our needs, we must consider safety, convenience, and aesthetics primarily.

Because there are so many variables, I’m sure, you would have gone pillar to post in search of a pet carrier that checks these boxes. Not sure about your outcome; but if someday I want a carrier, it ought to be somewhere around the concept of the Burrow.

Burrow for one ousts the regular bag appearance and those sharp-edge cage aesthetics for a pleasing design with safe corners. The functional design has a convenient push-button door and comes padded with a removable mattress for the pet to cozy up in. The walls are safe and well-ventilated. Ventilation is enhanced by a mesh door that would let the little pal peek outside and breathe fresh.

What really makes the Burrow pet carrier stand out for me is its detachable design. It is built in two sections: the top and bottom being separable. The sections are enclosed with loop and hook closure which makes it easy to clip and clip off. When torn seperate, the base of the pet carrier doubles as a bed.

This idea not only renders the Burrow multipurpose; it also adds exceptionally to the carrier’s space-saving antics, which is generally a concern with traditional pet carriers. Offered in four colors, Burrow allows pet owners to personalize it courtesy of a silicon dog tag attached to the handle of the carrier. The convenient handle makes the Burrow similar to a basket so it is effortless to carry about.

This cat couch features a folding mechanism that’s designed to keep living spaces fur free

Cat Couch is a foldable couch designed to be human-centered and feline-friendly for cohabitation living spaces.

Even when we buy furniture for our cats, there’s no stopping them from using the couch. Despite how much cats might prefer our living room sofas to their small bolster beds, our couches weren’t made for cats. Layers of shed fur and scratch marks have a way of making our couches feel like huge cat beds.

Designer: Tomoya Ono

Noticing the gap between cat-specific furniture and furniture designed for humans, Tomoya Ono conceptualized Cat Couch, a cat-friendly foldable couch designed for cohabitation.

Before conceptualizing Cat Couch, Ono took note that, “Many of the couches’ designs put priority on humans, while most of the cat sofas’ designs only focus on cats. There is a gap between the human lifestyle and the lifestyle of cats.”

With the aim of designing a couch that is equally designed for humans as for cats, Ono found versatility through a foldable structure. Before designing Cat Couch, Ono figured removable cushion fabric and a modular design would provide the conditions needed for easy cleaning when necessary.

Refining the design, Ono integrated wood into the build of the sofa which offered some structural rigidity that gave way to the Cat Couch’s folding mechanism. Wrapped in canvas, the final form of Cat Couch incorporates wooden lids that open and close like toilet seats.

These wooden lids help keep the cushions free from shedding fur and provide backrests for humans when positioned upright. In addition to the multifunctional wooden elements, Ono also designed Cat Couch with built-in scratch pads that provide a designated space for when the feline urge to scratch arises.

This wall mountable cat bed gives your cat a place to lounge up high while saving your space

Solar is a floating cat bed that mounts to any vertical surface to give your cat a resting spot up high and to save you floor space.

When it comes to designing cat furniture, the limit does not exist. Cats will turn anything into their personal stomping grounds. Whether it’s your laptop’s keyboard or the top of your entertainment center, cats will find it and transform it into their private playground.

MyZoo, a cat goods company, designs modern cat furniture that caters to your cat’s every need, while not disrupting your interior design. Solar, one of their more recent designs, is a wall-mountable floating cat bed that mounts onto any vertical surface so cats rest midair in their own designated space.

Shaped like the sun, Solar is a small, but sturdy floating cat bed that’s built from pinewood. In a similar fashion to their other pieces of cat furniture, MyZoo lined Solar with a slotted resting platform for safe jumping. Ideal for small spaces, Solar provides a resting spot and jumping platform for your cat and saves space in the meantime.

Unlike bulky cat towers and stringy scratching pads, Solar doesn’t take up any ground space and easily mounts to any wall where there’s room. Since cats love heights, MyZoo figured Solar was the best of both worlds–a space-saver for cat owners and an ideal resting spot for cats. Solar is also easy-to-assemble and even comes with assembly instructions, which can be found on YouTube, to streamline the assembly process.

This furniture design is a functional piece for you and a playful landscape for your cat!

Do your pets understand personal boundaries or are they normal? Sharing space has become more challenging post-pandemic as our work and non-work lives have merged into one home but we have also started spending a lot more time with our pets who may be thinking “why is this human taking over my favorite chair?” So Space International created catHAUS that encourages harmony between you and your cat when you are in the same space!

The angular furniture piece was envisioned to be a domestic retreat for an undomesticated species. It incorporates your needs and your pet’s needs too – two different functions but in the same piece of furniture. For you, catHAUS is a seating option and for your cat, it is a landscape of different textures. Playing off of the iconographic conventions of the familiar gable roof, catHAUS operates at the scale of both shelter and furniture.

Its exterior is abstract and neutral in its materiality while the plush interior is finished in synthetic turf and vertical supports wrapped in sisal rope. The design is highly engaging for your feline friend and keeps them from disturbing you while you read, work or watch Netflix!

Finally, The Banana Cat Bed Your Cats Have Been Meowing for

Cats: they’re particular. You buy them a fancy memory foam bed for $80 and they sleep in the sink. Enter the Banana Cat Bed, a plush, banana-shaped cat bed, complete with a peelable peel on top. I can close my eyes and already see my cat sleeping in the packaging it came in.

While available in a variety of sizes (18-inch small, $20; 22-inch medium, $25; 26-inch large, $30; and 36-inch extra-large, $41), it is not available in a variety of colors. It’s yellow or nothing.

What the – you’re not a cat! I suppose it also makes a decent dog bed, and not just for small dogs. I mean a 36-inch banana is a pretty big banana. Maybe not the biggest piece of produce I’ve ever seen, but I have been to some serious county fairs. But have I ever won a giant stuffed animal at the ring toss? Not even after throwing $350 of rings in a sitting.

This modular cat home is customized for your pet’s lifetime happiness

Browsing through Pinterest for your dream homes is so 2019, in 2020 we are browsing through pet homes and I am not ‘kitten’ when I say that cats certainly have cooler options than we ever will. They don’t pay rent and that is always going to be the coolest part but the pet homes are truly taking an artistic turn and I don’t mind having this modern cat home that is specifically customized for your feline friend’s happiness to last a lifetime! The design has been mindful of 3 elements – the space, the cat, and the person. Space is shared between the cat and the owner and this pet product works in the favor of that symbiotic relationship – all the cat’s needs are met and the owner’s interior space/style remains undisturbed.

The designer has imagined everything your pet needs to live their best life possible and included it in the details of this modular cat house. Every traditional shape and element has been reimagined to add a fresh perspective. The scratching board, for example, has been created to evoke an emotional response from the cat and make it a pleasant experience not bound by the stereotypical forms but still meeting the behavioral need to dig/scratch. Play around with the shape and structure, create something that works for you and your pet and if your pet gets bored easily, just switch up the arrangement and voila, a whole new apartment! The scratch pads can be set up in various different ways to increase the playing area while still being a practical element. “It is a balance between new and old. I have used our most common materials and structures in life to design new design styles, extend the life cycle of products, reduce product costs from another angle, and strengthen the relationship between brands and users by expanding product forms and functions,” says the designer.

It uses a familiar frame structure and it is flexible to the owner’s space and the cat’s demands – it also works for multiple cats! Sisal balls and corrugated paper complete the structure and encourage cats to behave as they would in their natural element, the choice of materials makes them more comfortable and the earthy tones bring a zen energy to the environment it is in. It integrates the human-cat-space elements into one pet product which is more entertaining, useful, and cost-effective because it serves multiple purposes. The cat house is adaptable and expandable to suit your flexible lifestyle. Add soft cushions, some toys, a litter box and you have a beautiful cat home with a minimal aesthetic that will fit your style and space!

Sweden’s first cat psychologist helped create this perfect cat home!

Anyone who has a pet knows that we only work hard to give them the life they deserve, and just like us the folks at 24 Storage understand that you must pamper your children especially the furry ones! So they came up with this ingenious Cat Flat that looks like a modern piece of furniture on the outside and keeps your cats happy on the inside. It is essentially a penthouse for your cat that matches your living room.

The Cat Flat has been carefully designed based on the advice of Sweden’s first cat psychologist, Susanne Hellman Holmström, who brought to light the 10 necessities apart from basic essentials that cats need for the best emotional and physical health. The needs range from scratching, cleaning fur, playing, discovering, being social, etc. and Cat Flat takes care of them all keeping in mind they spend most of their time indoors. Think of it as a hybrid of a home and a jungle gym for your cat.

Based on the cat psychologist’s advice, Hellman Holmström collaborated with interior designer Eleonor Moschevitz created the details, aesthetics, and functionality of the Cat Falt. It looks like an organic wooden storage cabinet crafted from walnut veneer with dross having vertical slats at different angles to give it a lift. It has three levels for your cats inside complete with stimulating elements and toys. Your home doesn’t have to be taken up by random cat play areas anymore, this beautiful piece of furniture checks the box for you and your feline friends.

MYZOO Spaceship Cat Beds Are Perfect for These Alien Beings

Cats are aliens. Come on, we all know it. They’re not fooling anyone with that cutesy act they put on. Not only are they from another planet, but they have obviously been sent here to spy on us. We don’t really mind though because they are adorbs. You might as well give them some space-age cat furniture for them to spy from. MYZOO Spaceship Cat Beds are perfect. Ground control to Major Tom… cat.

Your feline friends will feel right at home. MYZOO offers unique cat rest areas that are worthy of space travelers because they look like a spaceship. They come in models that have either one or two acrylic bubbles, so your kitty can enjoy a nice view. There are also holes for air circulation too. The first model is called Gamma for the wall and the second model is Alpha, a floor-standing model. Gamma has a single bubble, while Alpha has two.

There’s also a third model called Beta, which is a floor/tabletop version of Gamma. Each MYZOO Spaceship model comes in a birch or walnut finish. You can find the Alpha and Gamma from Amazon for $135 and $170, respectively. Oh, there’s also a matching spaceship food bowl. My cat already wants the full set.
