Designed for cats, this magnetic modular climbing wall system is for your pets of all sizes and ages!

Nyanpeki is a modular climbing wall system for cats that boasts an easy assembly and removal process, complete with magnetized felt components that provide jumping spots and hideouts for your cat to enjoy throughout the day and night.

There’s hardly anything more exciting for cat owners than new furniture designed for their feline friends. From scratching towers to chirping bird toys, and from cardboard papers to tissue paper, cats have no problem finding ways to entertain themselves. So when product designs come out that encourage cats to climb and scratch to their paw’s delight, cats make a jungle gym out of them.

The Nyanpeki, which translates to Cat Wall, from LIXIL Corporation is a modular climbing wall system that incorporates hiding spots and felt scratching posts for cats to play and rest for the rest of their days. Built for cat owners to create a unique playground for their cats, the Nyanpeki is formed from a magnetized assembly system that can just as easily attach to walls as it can be removed.

Designed for cats of all shapes, sizes, ages, and health conditions, the Nyanpeki can be adjusted throughout its shelf life to adapt to your cat’s changing needs. As your cat grows in age, the Nyanpeki’s height can be adjusted to meet your cat’s lumbar movements and changing jumping abilities. Modular by design, consumers can purchase single modules to create endless configurations and add baskets and felt hideouts to preexisting wall systems.

By creating a climbing system that remains on the wall, users will be able to keep their living space free from the clutter that cat toys bring. The modules attach to walls with little to no hardware required, making for an easy assembly and cleanup process. Additionally, each module boasts a load-bearing design to ensure that they have sufficient strength to hold up cats and for cats to jump from module to module. Awarded with recognition from Good Design Awards, the Nyanpeki received the honor in the Hobby goods and pet care supplies category.

Modern and minimal cat-friendly products designed to help cat lovers and their pets bond better!

I wholeheartedly believe that this is a cat’s world, and we’re just living in it! If you have a cat or two, then you know that they are the true masters of our home, and we are their abiding slaves, tending to their every need, always at their beck and call. They’re the apple of our eyes, and we would do almost anything to keep them happy and comfy, including showering them with fun little pet products, that they can play around with and keep themselves busy. I’m always trying to create a comfortable and interactive living space for my own cats – from playful toys to pet-friendly furniture, I’m ready to invest them in all. And this collection of cat products promise to be the investments that do exactly that! They will cater purrfectly to your cat’s every need! Happy kitties guaranteed!

Cats and humans have different needs and both love personal space – so can these two spaces coexist without compromise? InDot Design created a whole modern apartment that revolves around a glass ‘cat cabin’ which is seamlessly integrated into modern interior aesthetics. No more eye-sore cat trees that don’t fit in with your style! The team broke the previous form of partition walls and placed glass boxes in the space to form a spatial field. You can watch your cats while they watch you and both can still have defined boundaries. The cat cabin is like a floating glass box with a circular iron tube as the main support which also serves as a playful element for your pets.

The Cat Chair from Myzoo was designed for the modern home so that your cat can enjoy their own play and rest areas without compromising the interior design of your living room or den. The Cat Chair is a hexagonal piece of furniture where your cat can rest and also explore. Made from pinewood and a high-density sponge, the Cat Chair features a small lower compartment with cubby holes on each side of the stool for cats to slink in and out of as they choose. The lower compartment allows room for the cat to hide away and relax in isolation, while the stool’s sponge cushion provides an open space for the cat to lounge or even sunbathe.

Cat towers have gone through years of transformation now to reach a point where designers believe it’s a market big enough for Tesla to explore. Before Elon Musk takes heed, designers Hyeonji Roh and Yeonhong Kim have conjured up the Model L – a cat tower named after the letter ‘L’ and is inspired by the cat’s tail. Drawing inspiration from the Tesla logo, which designers believe resembles a cat’s nose, this rather unusual cat tower has more to it than a traditional scratching post, perching slot, and a route to it. The Model L is pretty unique in the choice of material and finish. The glossy idea is rare for a product that usually utilizes wood and fabric. Nonetheless, it doesn’t let down on modernism. This tower with Tesla symbolism may not have the customary scratcher, but it gives your cat a high position to perch in when resting.

Designed by Sulakshana S, Rise is a collection of luxury furniture designs…for cats! Yes, there is luxury furniture for our little cats as well now. Created from premium quality maple wood, and textured sisal fabric, the collection was inspired by architectural columns, wooden dowels, soft edges, and simple geometric shapes. And it really shows through in the furniture pieces! The collection consists of five interesting pieces. You have a beautiful light maple wood chair, that functions as a pet-human chair! This basically means your cat and you can lounge about on the same chair, spending quality time without invading each other’s privacy. The lower section functions as a safe space for your cat to rest in! The collection also includes a litter box with an arched roof.

Designed so that cats and humans could co-inhabit the same living spaces, Jiyoung Kim Studio aimed to create Three Poles with durable building materials and sleek color schemes. Constructed from round birch plywood and three metal poles, each scaffold of Three Poles is removable and can be configured between the three poles to create perches for your cat to either rest or play. In tribute to the classic cat tower, which was entirely coated in beige carpeting, Three Poles incorporate plush carpeting on three scaffolds, its base, and scratching post. Then, the additional scaffolds are constructed from birch plywood, supported by three metal poles that are painted the same brown hue as the plywood. One of the scaffolds constitutes a cat bed that can be removed and put on the floor to function as a traditional cat bed for naps after play.

Just the very sight of a cat-tray lifting off its base and rotating 90° to separate the poop from the litter looks like something NASA would design. With a rather space-oriented name, the Pluto Square is a modern, highly engineered cat litter tray that cleans itself after your feline friend does its business. It comes in a neat cube-shaped avatar that collects the waste over time so you need to clean up just once a week, and a minimalist Scandinavian-inspired design that looks good enough to place in any corner of your home.

Cat Is Art has a simple frame, featuring a rectangular box with a right-hand, round window. The wooden box is mounted onto steel beams that wrap around it to acquire a height similar to that of a mid-rise storage cabinet. Designed for both the cat and cat owner, Cat Is Art’s elemental structure reimagines the ways cat furniture fits into modern homes. The top of the playpen features a storage area with an upright lip that protects any objects from falling down as your cat gets bored and looks for things to knock over. Similarly, smaller cat toys can be stored on Cat Is Art’s top lid so that your cat can play inside the pen and on top of it. Only accessible by your cat, the round porthole on Cat Is Art’s right-hand side is petite and offers an easy escape route for when your cat needs some alone time.

Developed specifically for small to medium-sized apartments, Co-Living is a full-body mirror and cat tower combined to become a shared, interactive piece of interior furniture for cats and humans alike. When looking at Co-Living head-on, it appears as just another full-body mirror, but a closer look reveals its multi-functionality. With an arched top and bottom, the mirror stands on one wooden peg in front of Co-Living’s rear cat tower. Constructed vertically, Co-Living is designed to encourage cats’ natural climbing tendencies by incorporating multiple carpeted tiers from which they can hop on and off until reaching the top.

Extending the life cycle of cat accessories, feline furniture design brand Catipilla designed a collection of wall-mounted, sustainable furniture for cats with replaceable components that are built from premium materials to blend in with the rest of your furniture. Catipilla’s furniture collection features pieces like scratching posts, hammocks, and cat climbers, each of which can be mounted onto interior walls. Catipilla designs furniture with quality material to ensure a longer life cycle. Constructed from materials like anodized aluminum and waterproof carpet, each component of their collection is replaceable, adding a degree of durability and insurance to the furniture’s long life cycle. The line of scratchers offers two options: a climber and a scratching post. Differing only in length, the scratching post is shorter in length for cats’ front paws to reach their top.

Featuring concealed storage areas and tucked-away hideouts, Neko Goten was designed on the basis of understanding the behavior of cats with acute attention to what makes them really purr. On the left side, Neko Goten’s staircase brings cats to alternating jumping perches where cats can leapfrog before heading up to the tower’s plastic hemisphere that hovers above the entire play area. Below the staircase, a hideout offers a covert place for cats to rest without bother. Then, the center section of Neko Goten features a hive-like resting area that’s stationed atop a hollowed-out carpeted ring reminiscent of a hamster wheel, where cats can either rest, scratch, or knead until a cat nap’s in order.

This modern apartment has a suspended glass cabin which is goals for cat lovers and their pets!

The CMF of glass, wood, and black accents has been maintained with the cat cabin as well as the house so it all looks like one homogenous, open space. The aesthetics are warm, linear, and clean. “On the plane configuration, the living room and study are open, the yellow block at the rear is the cat house, and the red wall is the workspace of the hostess. Use a couch combined with the cat house; we put a glass suspended space in the space so that the layers overlap. The space also has a different sense of penetration,” explains the team.

The suspended cat cabin is measured in size and a viewing platform is deliberately opened in the window to face the views while the ceiling and side of the box are designed with solid wood grilles which are both light and breathable. It extends from the entrance porch cabinet to the living room cabinet. The open behind the sofa is the study room. The seam on the side of the desk is a space where you can move around. Open the wall of the study room and the guest room to form a back-shaped moving line. It is a field of light and shadow, and it has also become a fuzzy zone of the game of life. This apartment is interior design goal for cat parents, but it is the ultimate cool home for cats

This multi-level cat tower balances the joy of a McDonald’s PlayPlace with interior-friendly aesthetics!

Cat towers have given cats reign over their homes for as long as they’ve been around. Whether they’re draped in plush carpeting or stripped down to a minimal hardwood design, cat towers provide a place for cats to relax and nap the day away or run and play until they’re ready for a nap. Designed by Hitomi Otake, the Neko Goten Cat Tower combines the labyrinth nature of a Mcdonald’s PlayPlace with the artful craftsmanship of a handmade piece of wooden furniture.

Finally, the right side suspends a four-tier platform chain ladder for cats to climb up and down, resting periodically on one of its round bases to perch and observe the goings-on of their home territory.

Constructed with the skills of furniture craftsmen, Neko Goten was built with wood coming from Japan’s Fukui Prefecture. Developed primarily for use in Japan’s rental homes, Neko Goten’s handcrafted design of oakwood and cedarwood fits into public spaces and private homes alike. Once Neko Goten’s large stature wiggles its way into the living room, cats won’t hesitate before clawing away and climbing to the top.

Designer: Hitomi Otake

The cat tower’s center resting place was handcrafted to echo the look and feel of a beehive.

Suspended from the tower’s right-side wing, a four-tier chain ladder allows cats to climb and slink their way up or down, while a carpeted hollowed-out ring provides a scratching post for cats.

Hovering above the entire play area, a plastic, transparent hemisphere provides the coziest resting area for cats to perch and keep a watchful eye over the tower.

Cozy cat-friendly products to help your cat and you connect better!

Anyone who has cats will agree that it’s a cat world, and we’re just living in it! They are the true masters of our home, and we are their abiding slaves, tending to their every need, always at their beck and call. They’re the apple of our eyes, and we would do almost anything to keep them happy and comfy, including showering them with fun little products, that they can play around with and keep themselves busy. From mini furniture to fashionable hats – we’ve curated a collection of product designs that will cater purrfectly to your cat’s every need. Happy kitties guaranteed!

Okawa City produced a campaign revealing mini furniture for cats! Named, ‘Craftsman MADE’, it includes genuine pieces of furniture which have been scaled down. The result is cute cat-sized furniture pieces including a little bed and a sofa for your feline friends. In fact, these images showcase cats having a very gala time indeed on these furniture designs!

We all like a comfortable camping experience once in a while, or to be more millennial, a comfortable glamping experience once in a while! But what about our feline friends? Wouldn’t they like a warm tent to cozy up into? I mean maybe they haven’t ever thought of it…but I’m sure they would enjoy it! Well, the Cat Camp is here! And it’s a mini indoor tent, especially for our cats. It’s quite similar to the mini display tents seen in outdoor shops, and it’s exactly like the larger tents for humans except its tiny…and cuter! 21.5 x 21.5 x 14 inches in size, the Cat Camp is spacious enough to accommodate almost all breeds of cats. A side-zip makes it extremely easy to enter, and it pitches just like a normal tent.

The KittySpring provides continuous fresh water for your cat, unlike regular water bowls that sit for long, allowing the water to go stale. Made from materials that are 100% food safe and easy to clean, the KittySpring uses a refillable bottle that supplies water to a transparent bowl (with a pebble-shaped cover). The water passes through a stainless steel filter to ensure purity, giving your cats fresh drinking water whenever they need it. As the bowl empties, it automatically gets replenished by the reservoir using a unique gravitational system that’s completely noise-free since it doesn’t run on an electrical motor. The bottle and bowl are easy to clean too and can be rinsed with soap water or even placed in a dishwasher for thorough cleaning. The stainless steel filter, on the other hand, lasts for years without needing replacement.

Wondering what these cats are wearing on their heads? They’re called Nukege Hats! The hats are made from the feline’s own fur. Old sheds are transformed into cute little hats for the cats! As adorable as these hats look, and fashionable too, I wonder if the cats actually like wearing them or no?

The Circle Zero from PLUTO is a smart litter box that takes care of your cat’s business. Designed to be fully automated, fully enclosed, and exceptionally silent, the litter box comes with a completely enclosed design to provide a private experience. Sensors on the box detect the presence of the cat and wait for a full 7 minutes after they’re done to automatically (and silently) scoop the waste from the litter and store it separately while completely containing and eliminating any odor too. Once the waste compartment is full, you can use any bag or liner to collect it and throw it away. The Circle Zero works with any brand of kitty litter and comes with two types of scoop designs. Sensors within the box (although it’s technically a sphere) keep track of your cat’s routines and can notify you via an app if any irregularities are spotted.

Designed to constantly pique a cat’s curiosity, the Cheerble is a board-and-ball combination that is to cats what pinball is to humans. It features a hyperactive vibrating ball that darts around a board, while your cat constantly follows it as a predator follows its prey. At the heart of the Cheerble board game is its ball, a durable ping-pong ball-shaped device with a synthetic fiber coating that almost looks like an abstract mouse. The ball, with built-in motors and lights, can be set to one of three active settings, causing it to dart around chaotically, grabbing a cat’s attention in the process. Paired along with the ball is the Cheerble board, which comes in two variants, both with corrugated cardboard bases – the same material used to make cat-scratching posts.

The external shape of Cat Person’s shipping boxes was maintained by taking advantage of all the interior space. Granneberg designed three shipping containers for Cat Person, each forming different structures. The first, which contains initial orders for Cat Person customers, is the trial shipper and that transforms into the Paw Puzzler, a custom mailer box with a perforated corrugate tray that transforms into a shorter box dotted with holes large enough for a toy ball and your cat’s paw. The second shipping container is fitted to ship Cat Person’s most frequently bought store items, reshapes into the Cat Chalet, similar to a cardboard castle formation, with elongated dust flaps that nest together to become a peaked roof. The last shipping container is sized for the larger orders and converts into a Cat Condo much like the Cat Chalet, except the Condo’s elongated dust flaps are used to bend and separate the box into two rooms for cats to crawl between.

Sunghoon Park’s ‘Carrio’ is quite versatile and modular as well! At first glance, it may look like an ordinary pet carrier, but once you dwell deeper, it has a bit of a surprise in store for you. At home, Carrio can be used as a bed or a quaint resting spot for your pet, a personal area for your pet to laze around in after a long day of play. When it comes to functioning as a carrier, it provides two modules, owing to two types of straps that can be customized. It can be used as a carrier backpack, slip it onto your shoulders effortlessly and take your pet alongside you wherever you please. Put on the second pair of straps, and it can be used as a travel carrier bag! You can hold it horizontally like a duffle bag, apt for your larger furry friends.

PaiPai Pets’ double basin cat kennel is a cat tower and console storage cabinet in one. Looking at the kennel head-on, two wide doors border a narrower middle door, which opens up to the kennel’s storage unit and jungle-gym interior. On the left and right sides of the kennel, there’s enough space to fit two large litter boxes, which are always accessible through the middle door’s open porthole. Behind the kennel’s center cabinet, storage shelves can be found where cat owners can stow away smaller items like cans of wet cat food and litter scoopers. Painted in bright white, with natural wood accents along the perimeter, the kennel can remain discreet even in busier home spaces like the living room or den.

The Cat Person Mesa Bowl No-Tip Food Dish has been designed exclusively for cats! Usually, when cats eat, they hunch over, and honestly, their crouched position doesn’t look very comfortable. Hence Cat Person created an ergonomically designed bowl that features an elevated stand, so your cat can eat in a healthier position! With its six-inch diameter, the bowl also accommodates your kitty’s long whiskers.

This innovative dog accessory, with a lightweight and retractable tape-type leash extendable up to 5 feet, is designed by BKID. Interestingly, it is made from breathable, soft EVA foam combined with mesh fabric for a comfortable fit. The harness is equipped with a seat belt like two-way-lock safety stop technology, which if the dog pulls the string during an unexpected action, can automatically stop the line even if the owner misses the handle, letting the dog escapes unhurt.

If you own two kitties, then this Cat Bunk Bed by Purrfur is perfect for you! This design has honestly gotten me quite excited, because I have two fluffy Persian cats, and just thinking of them sharing a bunk bed is giving me the tingles! Although the upper bunk looks comfier and definitely has more privacy in comparison to the second bunk (which looks like a simple hammock to me), I do feel it’s an adorable design that’ll provide your pets with a communal space they can share together, but also allow them to have their own little private zone.

This minimal and modular cat tree perfectly meets the needs of your pet, your home and you!

I own two fluffy and cozy Persian cats, and honestly, they’re the masters of my home. I’m their personal slave and butler, granter of their wishes, and 24/7 on-duty caretaker! But I love every bit of it and wouldn’t exchange my little furballs for anything in the world. And, hence I’m always on a quest to pamper them with little tidbits and gain their approval. Cats are intelligent and sensible creatures, hence ordinary little toys don’t do much for them, they need a higher level of stimulation and entertainment. Cat trees are a very commonplace and sought-after option, your cats can lounge about, play in, scamper around and channel their energy productively in these tree-like mazes. However, cat trees can occupy a substantial amount of space in your home, often clashing with your well-planned interiors and looking like an extreme eyesore! The Bien Bien Cat Tree deals with both of these problems smoothly, owing to its elegant form and visually pleasing aesthetics.

Winner of the Golden Pin Design Award, the Bien Bien Cat Tree by Cheng-Liang Wu and Chia-Wen Lin is a cat tree that also masterfully doubles up as a piece of furniture. There are several shelving options for you to store your precious belongings in, as well as little nooks and crannies for your pet to sleep and play around in. Multiple accessories can be attached as means of recreation for your cat, and my favorite one, hands down, is the tiny hammock! Imagine that, a snug hammock for your furry friend to lay in as if on vacation. Your cat can easily climb from one level to another, and the grid-like section also provides them with a sense of privacy. It creates a safe space where they can enjoy their own company without feeling completely isolated from their surroundings. The lower level is also a nifty and accessible spot to place their food and water bowls in!

The Bien Bien Cat Tree’s clean and straightforward structure, elegant usage of wood, and minimal aesthetics allow it to integrate and merge with the interiors of your home perfectly. In all the desk designs I’ve seen over the years, this is a first for me! It’s called ‘Ascend’ and it’s been created by Dan Devine for all the cat ladies and fellas out there. Like any cat person will tell you, the moment you give attention to anything but your furry friend, they’ll find a way to lounge on your keyboard or knock over your utensils until it’s back on them! Designed with this in mind, the wood desk has been crafted with multiple ramps and landings for cats to perch up and play. If you can’t fight ’em, invite ’em!

Simple and elegant, the Leaf transforms any plastic bottle you may have lying around into a doggy drinking apparatus. Perfect for those dog walks, the Leaf retrofits onto any regular PET (PolyEthylene Terephthalate) bottle with the standard 28mm diameter threaded neck. Made out of food-grade silicone, the leaf wraps around the bottle, and when flipped over (dog-eared, if you will), becomes a bowl for your dog to drink water from. The cupped leaf along with the reinforcing silicone veins give the dog a vessel to drink out of. Once done, the leaf can be folded back to wrap around the bottle. The leaf can also aid in easy bottle filling by acting as a funnel!

Industrial designer Jong Hoon Yoon from Seoul, Korea pondered over the unique idea of thinking from a pet’s perspective and designing an intuitive TV stand. Christened “With”, the space-saving TV unit doubles as a cozy spot for your cat to never let go of. All this while being considerate of the kind human too. Yes, With considers the positioning of the cat and the fellow human, so that they both are in their comfort zone and don’t bother each other. For us, the TV is a mere source of entertainment as well as lousy around on our couch binge-watching streaming content. On the other hand, the heat produced from the TV and the accompanying electronics is an opportunity for your pet to curl up and enjoy in their own space.

Designed by Jihyun Han, Gosewalk consists of two toy pieces, a multi-surfaced mat that resembles the different terrain found outdoors, and a silicone puzzle that stows away dog treats for your pup to sniff and find. The multi-surfaced mat brings the outdoors to your dog with different fabrics resembling different terrains. Twisted and shaggy polyester mimics the look and feel of grass, while tan corduroy and water-repellant canvas bring the colors of sand and soil to your dog’s snout. Pockets and flaps line the mat’s fabrics and provide perfect hiding places for treats and mixtures of herbs and scents to entertain your pup. The silicone puzzle, which seems to be a smaller, more portable companion piece to the bulkier mat, resembles the look of grass through its tender, spring green silicone nubs that grid the toy. Hidden compartments are carved into the silicone puzzle where dog owners can store treats for their pups to sniff out and munch on. Then, in the middle of the puzzle, a darker green, ruffled and leafy centerpiece camouflages yet another hidden storage compartment that can be used to stow away packets of herbal mixtures for dogs to sniff on while hunting for treats.

Do you wish you could track your dog’s location in case of emergencies but don’t want to embed a tracker in his or her body? The Link smart collar offers an alternative, more pet-friendly solution with its removable GPS. However, the Link is for more than emergencies – it includes features that improve your pet’s health and quality of life every day. So, what does the Link do? The collar itself holds the GPS tracker and a LED light for visibility during night walks. Additionally, with the Link companion app, the product can log your dog’s physical fitness, vet records, and other stats related to his or her health. Basically, it’s a FitBit for your pet – keeping them happy, healthy, and safe.

Pet Paws is a high-tech sanitizing mat used to clean, disinfect, and dry the legs of our pets as well as the soles of our shoes. The efficient product design is a simple roll-up mat that is easy to carry and store. The team worked on elevating an existing prototype by adding improved functionality and simplifying it further – the redesigned version is now just a one-piece product, unlike the original one which had four parts. It has two areas on its surface – the first section of the mat has a multi-directional cleaning texture which bends and cleans inside the paws in a friendly manner, and the second section of the mat has a cushioned texture which helps to dry the paws as the pet walks over the microfiber sleeve.

The Ebo Catpal is a robot companion that serves as both a cat sitter and a favorite toy. It’s essentially a mobile security camera that can follow your pet through the house like a Roomba. Similar to a Roomba, the device has sensors to detect obstacles in the vicinity. It also will automatically return to its charging station when low on battery. The camera’s feed is accessible through a mobile app, similar to many home security systems. It also serves a second purpose … let’s be honest, what owner can resist snapping close-ups of their pet’s hijinks? For this reason, the Ebo’s camera records high-resolution footage, which you can save, edit, and post to social media. You can add cute stickers to an image, or even create gifs.

Passakorn Kulkliang designed PAWSPAL in order to help better facilitate the typically difficult task of traveling with animal companions. The product has three main functions: a fully-integrated, chargeable air ventilation system, a bottom deck used to roll the carrying cases, and the individual crate’s inbuilt stackability. If the user were to choose to roll their pets through the airport, just like the common rolling suitcase, then the case or cases can be placed atop the removable base for easy maneuvering throughout any space or building. In addition to the stackable feature and the wheeled base, users can opt-out to carry the case as it is. Lastly, inside the crate, you won’t have to worry about your pet overheating because each case comes equipped with an operating air ventilation system that keeps your animal cool at all times. Each crate from PAWSPAL includes a charging hole for USB C cables so that keeping your pet cool is a given. Your pup or kitten can also enjoy plenty of air circulation and privacy thanks to the air slots that are large enough to maintain healthy airflow, but slim enough to keep prying eyes away from bothering your pet.

Hyun Jin Oh designed CoZY, an adjustable, two-tiered couch that meets both pets and their humans right where they are. When it comes to pet furniture, during the construction phases, functionality sometimes outweighs style, but Hyun Jin Oh found a sweet compromise with CoZY. The sofa’s stripped-down frame is made from stainless steel, evoking an industrial-chic personality, and utilizes the tension of four bold, bright red straps of leather that wrap around the steel bars of CoZY’s armrest and base, two along the rear and one on both sides of CoZY. Hyun Jin Oh’s sofa was designed specifically to create a space that’s accessible for older and smaller dogs to take a breather. Since we typically rest on sofas, dogs naturally follow suit, but sometimes the sofa requires too high of a leap for a smaller or older dog to manage all on its own. In order to encourage dogs to join their human on the couch, Hyun Jin Oh’s CoZY design utilizes a pull-out wooden board that slides easily along the sofa’s X-axis.

This furniture design is a functional piece for you and a playful landscape for your cat!

Do your pets understand personal boundaries or are they normal? Sharing space has become more challenging post-pandemic as our work and non-work lives have merged into one home but we have also started spending a lot more time with our pets who may be thinking “why is this human taking over my favorite chair?” So Space International created catHAUS that encourages harmony between you and your cat when you are in the same space!

The angular furniture piece was envisioned to be a domestic retreat for an undomesticated species. It incorporates your needs and your pet’s needs too – two different functions but in the same piece of furniture. For you, catHAUS is a seating option and for your cat, it is a landscape of different textures. Playing off of the iconographic conventions of the familiar gable roof, catHAUS operates at the scale of both shelter and furniture.

Its exterior is abstract and neutral in its materiality while the plush interior is finished in synthetic turf and vertical supports wrapped in sisal rope. The design is highly engaging for your feline friend and keeps them from disturbing you while you read, work or watch Netflix!
