Rick and Morty Clue Includes Mr. Poopybutthole!

It’s an exciting time for Rick and Morty fans. Earlier this week, we got a live stream from show creators Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland, season three debuts later this month, and now, we’re getting a Rick and Morty version of Clue.

The officially-licensed board game is titled Rick and Morty: Back in Blackout, includes cool 3D pieces of Rick, Morty, Jerry, Beth, Mr. Poopybutthole, and Summer. Wait, how many game pieces are supposed to be in the box again? Was it six? Or was it 10? Where’s Uncle Steve? Cousin Nicky? I’m walkin’ here!

The game asks players to figure the culprit who stole the plans to Rick’s portal gun, where they’re hiding them, and what item they used to pull off the theft. I’m going with Summer in the Citadel of Ricks with the Meeseeks Box.

You can pre-order Rick and Morty Clue over on Amazon for $36.99(USD). It’s expected to start shipping this August.

The Legend of Zelda Clue Board Game: It’s Dangerous to Go into the Conservatory Alone…

…take this pipe wrench. To add to the ever growing number of Monopoly and Clue variants out there, it is now The Legend of Zelda’s turn. Truly a link to the past. I suppose it’s a good time to unleash a Zelda version of the classic murder mystery board game thanks to the success of Breath of the Wild on the Switch.

Though in this version, it’s all mystery, and no murder. Here’s the setup: Ganondorf has stolen the Triforce and is threatening Hyrule. So to fulfill the prophecy and defeat him, you have to find out who possesses the power to defeat the bad guy, what item is needed, and where his hidden lair is.

You can pre-order the game now for $44.99(USD), and it’s due to ship around June 30th, so it should give you something fun to do when you are finished with Breath of the Wild.

Game Of Thrones Clue: Westeros Whodunnit

Last year, Game of Thrones Clue was unveiled as a Thinkgeek April Fools joke and guess what? Now it is a real product. Daenerys did it. In Westeros. With a dragon.

HBO is offering the official Game of Thrones Clue board game now. This game has a double sided board that lets you play in Mereen or The Red Keep. Just like any game of Clue, you have to try and figure out who killed who, with what, and where. If it’s anything like the books, they will all die horrible deaths.

Out of all of the Clue versions you can buy, this one makes the most sense since these characters are all pretty much killers. No one gets out of Westeros alive.

Library Book Style Vintage Board Games Store Vertically

vintage game collection
This is a smart design idea. Hasbro has redesigned the packaging for many of your favorite classic board games so they store in a classy book-style vertical manner. No more stacks of unsightly brightly colored wide game boxes that you have to hide in a basement rec room or closet. These games all match and can be proudly displayed on any bookshelf- they look like a row of classic books. Show them off in your living room, den, library, or even the office.
monopoly book
The games themselves are exactly the same as the original versions you played as a kid (and still do). The only major difference is that the boards fold up more times (looks like in 9ths) instead of in half to fit into the box. There is a WIDE variety of games available: Monopoly, Risk, Scrabble, Jenga, Clue, Life, Stratego, Yahtzee. Some are available in a wooden box as well. Would make a great gift or collection.

I love it when old-fashioned board games are gussied up with some new features and aimed at fans of various TV shows. Take this Firefly Clue board game. But this time you’re not looking for who killed Colonel Mustard and what implement they used. Firefly Clue’s objective it to identify who helped the Alliance kidnap River Tam.
