Dotti cleaning tools use inspired designs to make cleaning feel less like a chore

Cleaning might sound like a drag, but there’s no reason your cleaning tools have to be as well.

As if the chore of cleaning up, even after yourself, wasn’t already an uninspiring idea, the thought of using tools designed more for mass-production than actual cleaning doesn’t help lighten the load either. Sure, you could think of expensive designer products that look beautiful or interesting, but what are the chances that you’d actually use them without feeling guilty for having sullied their immaculate surfaces. Good product design doesn’t mean something has to be artistic or lavish, just that they actually get the job done in the best way possible, all while looking good, too. That’s pretty much what these cleaning tools promise, improving your cleaning mood and efficiency by looking good and cleaning well.

Meet the Dotti Super Scrubber™ and Dotti Best Broom & Dustpan™ – Engineered for ultimate comfort, performance and style.

You probably take your cleaning tools like brooms and sponges for granted, brushing them off as disposable items that can become too disgusting to keep around after a while. It might have never occurred to you, however, that it might be that attitude and outlook that actually worsen your mood when cleaning, making it feel even more burdensome and undesirable. That is why Dotti tries to reimagine what it would be like if you had good and beautiful cleaning tools that delight and work well. You might not want to throw them away so quickly, and, fortunately, you won’t have to because Dotti is made to last.

The Dotti Best Broom & Dustpan™ – Carefully engineered with an antibacterial silicone bristle broom that effectively traps small and large debris.

The Dotti Best Broom and Dustpan are a dynamic duo that keeps your home spick and span, literally. The Best Broom’s antibacterial silicone bristles are like death traps for debris, big and small alike, while the ergonomic Dustpan is designed so that you won’t have to break your back while cleaning. Set your foot down on dirt and never bend to its level ever again. The minimalist design of these tools easily sets them apart from their mass-produced cousins so that you might not even want to hide this pair inside some closet, leaving them out in the open for everyone to see and admire.

The Dotti Super Scrubber™ – Long-lasting, non-scratch, odor-free and does not change shape or discolor.

The Dotti Super Scrubber is similarly appealing in its appearance but rough on grime. Antibacterial silicone makes short work of dishes and table crumbs while making sure their odors don’t stick around to ruin your day. The ergonomic design of the dish not only makes it a pleasure to hold but also to behold as well. Forget all you know about disgusting, soggy, and stinky sponges when you grasp the Super Scrubber and take cleaning problems into your own hands.

Cleaning tools aren’t exactly what many would consider attractive objects, but Dotti throws all conventions out the window. In addition to their beautiful minimalist designs, they also come in different color options to match your home, your kitchen, or your style. These are definitely tools you’ll want to keep around for as long as you possibly can, so it’s a good thing that you actually can. Dotti tools are meant to last a lot longer than their common counterparts, which helps reduce the compounding effects of disposable products on the environment.

Cleaning is already a chore, so why subject yourself to the pain of using tools that don’t inspire or even do their jobs well. With Dotti, you can feel good not only after the job is done but also while cleaning with a stylish and effective tool in your hand. And it all starts at around $89 for a complete kit of the Best Broom and Dustpan tag team and the Super Scrubber sponge.

This brush-dustpan combo is an aesthetically pleasing solution to keep your desk setup clean!

Keeping my desk clean at all times is one ritual I always follow – after all, a clean decluttered space for working is the basis of prime productivity and a feel-good factor attached to it. To do the cleaning rituals, I use a soft brush that picks up the dust from the surface of the desk, monitor, and other desk accessories. After the task is done, the brush has to go behind the scenes – either in the drawer or on the sidelines hiding behind the props on the wall shelf. Designer Jinwook Lee of the design studio This Is wants to break the stereotype and elevate the dusting brush’s status to a décor object on the desk.

To this end, Jinwook has come up with the idea of O Brush houseware that’s functional and more than meets the eye. It is a cleaning brush and dustpan combo for one’s who appreciate the perks of keeping their working environment visually clean. Looking more like some minimalistic gadget – the O Brush opens up to reveal the dustpan and brush for a quick cleaning task. When you’re done, simply plug in the brush into the housing in the dustpan and nobody ever knows what it actually is.

The O Brush accessory is something you want right away for your productive workstation setup – functionality and aesthetics-wise. Jinwook’s concept design certainly deserves to meet fruition. So, won’t you like to have this on your desk?

Playfully designed home cleaning equipment could make chores much more entertaining!

Meet Dustache, a dustpan with a quirky Pringles-ish avatar that hopes to bring a fun, storytelling element to the act of cleaning. A portmanteau of Dust + Mustache, this dustpan and broom by Peleg Design is your personal clean-up crew that can take care of any dry-waste mess around your house. The dustpan forms Dustache’s face, while the broom is styled to look like a nose and nice thick pair of man-whiskers. Whenever you come across some dirt or dust, or you accidentally spill some food over, just grab ahold of Mr Dustache and his brush and pan are always ready for duty… and don’t worry, he doesn’t mind getting crumbs in his moustache- that’s his job after all!

Designers: Dar Stern + Peleg Design Studio

What Dustache does so wonderfully is it bring a quirky and fun appeal to an otherwise mundane task. It’s something the folks at Peleg have managed to do really well with their products. Dustache’s fun personality and oddly cartoonish design make cleaning up much more fun. It’s almost as if you’ve got yourself a clean-up buddy as you conveniently feed crumbs into Dustache’s non-existent mouth using his rather furry (and detachable) upper lip!

This personal dustpan is the easy and aesthetic way to keep your desk setup clean!

While still working from home is a norm in most places, keeping your desk squeaky clean comes with a satisfying and vital feeling since hygiene is right up there on the priority list of most people. Having your own small tool to clean the desk (and all the accessories on it) sounds like a good investment already, and if you are also someone who likes to have things within an arm’s reach, then the Personal Dustpan by Alessio Romano is worth your time.

Conceptualized from the elementary need to have a personal dustpan that’s easy enough to carry or store, the accessory is ideal for both home and office use, and everything in between. Alessio has elevated the design of such a simple accessory in a way that it addresses the very core issue of using the duster for a while (when it’s new) and then forgetting it for the rest of your life – literally biting the dust in the drawer! Made from recycled pet hair and having a wooden handle, the design is right on point – something that everyone will fancy having in their possession, enjoying the cleaning task at hand.

The clever design of the duster is such that it functions as dust and pan to collect the mess, and when the task is finished, the pan acts as the storage of the duster. On top of that, it looks good, so you won’t shy away from displaying it on your table or desk at work. So, now with Alessio’s design, you’ll have no reason to keep your table untidy or messed up ever again!

Eva Solo’s 2-in-1 dustpan is easy to use and easy on the eyes!

Quite simply the most elegantly designed dust-collecting apparatus I’ve seen in a while, Eva Solo’s Sweep dustpan perfectly complements the house it finds itself in. Unlike most plastic dustpans that take on a utilitarian approach to the act of cleaning, the Sweep does its job both by being effective at gathering dust, as well as aesthetic when not in use. The two-part product comes with a circular design that splits into an Oakwood broom with silicone bristles that efficiently gather dust and debris, along with a matte-black plastic pan that uses a hollow semicircular design to scoop the dust collected by the broom.

The broom’s soft form is easy to hold and even features a thumb-hole that allows you to grip it well. The Sweep even comes with a leather lanyard that lets you hang it anywhere around the house, because let’s just agree that this is one household cleaning accessory you wouldn’t mind letting guests look at!

The Dapper Dustpan

When you think of a dustpan and broom, chances are you imagine a flimsy, plastic, unsightly object that you hide as far back in the closet as possible! The Alfred, however, is one you can be proud of! No, it doesn’t light up… or cheer you on… in fact, there’s really no new functionality at all. But it is durable, made of quality material, and just plain nice to look at.
