Deal: Da Vinci Ewok T-Shirt

Despite their size, Ewoks are crafty little characters. Remember some of the contraptions they came up with to crush and destroy those AT-ST walkers? So you might wonder if maybe the fuzzy little guys were related to Leonardo Da Vinci.

This fun t-shirt imagines an Ewok at Da Vinci’s iconic Vitruvian Man, only shorter, furrier, and without his junk hanging in the wind. Drop by the Technabob Shop today and grab one for $17.99(USD) – 28% off the regular price.

Ewok Backpack Buddy Won’t Crush Your Head with Logs

Growing up, my cousin and I were nearly the same exact age so we hung out together a lot. His younger brother was several years younger than us and that meant we often teamed up to torment him in various ways. One of those ways was to take his Wicket the Ewok stuffed animal and beat it up. This Wicket Backpack Buddy reminds me of those Ewok beatdowns.

It looks like Wicket is getting a piggy back ride when you wear it. It’s adjustable so it can fit kids as young as three all the way up to an adult. There’s also a top handle so you can carry it if you want and is padded for comfort. The $35 backpack measures 12″ x 22″ x 6″ so it won’t exactly hold a lot, but Ewoks don’t have that many possessions anyhow.

So get that monkey off your back and replace it with an Ewok over at ThinkGeek.

Ewok Beanie Will Keep Your Yub Nub Warm

It’s not even mid-October yet here in Colorado and already it’s been colder than it got back in my old home state of Texas for most of the winter. This means that things like gloves and hats that I never needed before are now required. My daughter has been wanting a hat to keep her ears warm, and I think this Ewok Kids’ Beanie would be perfect. It’s cute with Wicket’s head on the hat.

It has ears and a fuzzy face just like the real, fake creature from Endor. I’d like to know why we haven’t seen Ewoks back on any of the Star Wars flicks since Return of the Jedi. It’s time, I say.

The beanie should be warm with its 100% acrylic construction and fleece lining, but the one downside is that it can’t be machine washed. Get yours for $14.99(USD) at ThinkGeek.

Star Wars Ewok Candy Bowl Doesn’t Live in Trees

I have long thought that the Ewoks were the cutest little creatures in the Star Wars universe. I also think that Ewoks might be nothing more than really short Sasquatches who prefer to live in trees and crush walkers with big logs. For those who love Ewoks, here’s something fun for your collection – an Ewok candy bowl and holder.

ewok-candy-1

The 20″ H candy bowl holder looks like Wicket the Ewok.  It’s meant to stand outside by your door for Halloween so you don’t have to actually talk to people who want to trick-or-treat. Granted those hooligans up the street will totally take all the candy and leave the holder empty. Or worse yet, they’ll take the whole thing.

Also, keep in mind that as cute as Ewoks look, remember that they were going to eat Han and Luke at one point. If you’re good with having one of these tiny cannibals in your house, you can get yours at ThinkGeek for $39.99(USD).

Disney’s remote control robots move just like people

Imagine walking into a Disney theme park and being greeted by Mike from Monsters Inc. A life-size Mike, perfectly spherically-proportioned on those spindly legs. Fitting a human into a costume like that is impossible. That's why Disney Research is bu...

Yub Nub! Build Your Own Ewok at Build-A-Bear

Ewoks. They are the bane of the Empire’s existence. These furry little creatures have been known to take on elite Imperial soldiers and win. They will crush you with logs, set traps and catch you – even poke you with a stick. And now you can design your own Ewok at Build-A-Bear.

That’s right. A new 16″ plush Wicket is now available on the Build-A-Bear website and he’ll be in stores in the US and UK next week. Imperial soldiers need not apply.

If you want an even cooler version, you can also buy a special Wicket the Ewok 6-in-1 sound chip so you can make him say Ewok stuff like this. If you love these little fur-balls, you’ll want to get yourself one.

Star Wars Ewok Knit Hooded Scarf: YubNub!

Star Wars fever is in full swing, and if you want to dress up to see The Force Awakens, but you don’t want the weird looks that go along with getting to the theater, this is the ticket.

This Ewok Knit Hooded Scarf looks like a regular orange scarf if you fold it just right, but when the geek need hits you can unfold the hood and it has fuzzy Ewok ears that stick out of the top. If you wore this to the forest moon of Endor, they would gladly accept you into their tree houses.

It’s pretty cute and if you want your own plunk down $24.99(USD) over at ThinkGeek.

The Diorama to Endor All Ewok Dioramas

November 1st was Ewok Appreciation Day. Yeah, it was new to me too. C-3PO must have started it so he could be worshiped. Ewoks first appeared in 1983 in the movie Return of the Jedi. Many fans did not like them since they were obviously there for the kids and for Lucas to make toy money, though they’ve sort of grown on some folks over the years.

David Mizejewski celebrated Ewok Appreciation Day in a unique way. He made an elaborate Ewok diorama using the Ewok toys from his youth – a whole lot of toys!

Basically he recreated Endor. It is very impressive indeed, with many scenes throughout. There are amazing details everywhere. This guy REALLY loves Ewoks. Hit the link for more amazing yub nub!
