Trailo Office Table Program lets you use different add-ons and attachments

A good table design is not only important for public spaces. Having well-designed tables at home is also necessary because people spend more time in the house now than they do outside.

Many people have made themselves comfortable in their home offices. However, the quest for the best home office furniture pieces and tools doesn’t stop. We are still looking for the most extraordinary and most efficient items.

If you’ve finally decided to get serious about building your home office, you may consider the TRAILO. This Office Table Program 4.0 includes different accessories that can be very useful. You can say this is a modular table as it accepts various attachments and even different table legs.

The Trailo comes with the REISS SCHIENE, a unique sheet metal profile. It is placed underneath the tabletop, where the table legs are attached. You can also add a monitor holder or a document tray. An acoustic panel can also be added, depending on your needs and activities.

The REISS SCHIENE allows you to move along the add-ons as made possible by a trolley. You have several choices for the table legs depending on where you place the table. The acoustic panel is ideal for those who need quieter environments, especially when on a call or when you need to record something. It’s a 360-degree traveling sound absorber that can move along the table’s edges. You can also put a tray there for your different accessories and devices like smartphones or headsets. Other attachments include an organizer tray that can also move along.

The system features a sliding tabletop and a cable duct that allow you to hide the unsightly wires. In addition, you can attach a modesty panel to cover what’s underneath. Several choices of legs are also offered, including a set that features height adjustment. The adjustable legs let you set the table higher for when you want to work while standing.

TRAILO was designed by Studio Läufer & Keichel for Reiss Büromöbel GmbH. The table system has the potential to expand with the trolley and add-ons. We can imagine more accessories and attachments can be designed and implemented to make the office table more efficient.

We have seen other modular tables recently, like the Monomode, but that one is for a safer and cleaner dining experience. Razer also introduced an all-in-one modular gaming desk design. The ultra-minimal desk hides its modular nature in plain sight. That height-adjustable smart table with customizable modules can definitely keep a work-from-home space organized.

The Eleven Desk can be a creative professional’s new work-from-home setup

Eleven Desk Details

Eleven isn’t just a number or that fictional character from a TV series. Eleven can soon be known as a special desk designed to make working from home more fun and productive.

Work desks are a dime a dozen, but there won’t be an end to searching for the best one. Remote work and schooling are still recommended simply because the pandemic isn’t over yet. Many companies and schools have seen the convenience online work and school offer. The challenge is really having the best work-from-home setup.

Design: Alberto Monteón

Eleven Desk Creation

The Eleven Desk designed by Alberto Monteón can be a godsend. The industrial designer has considered his experience and needs as a creative professional. The desk is ideal for those who have a lot of stuff and needs some organizing to help them finish tasks on time.

The desk looks sturdy with the table top’s thickness and the legs. It has enough areas for everything you need for work. The table surface can accommodate your laptop, keyboard, monitor, and mouse. In addition, there is ample area for your books, documents, pens, and a mug. Underneath, there are hooks where you can hang your bag and headphones, plus another level for more stuff.

The table is made of maple wood and carbon steel plus sustainable finishes. The table is buildable, which means you can quickly assemble this thing. It’s also portable so it’s easy to move to a different location.

The silhouette of the work desk is simple. This is a potential winner because it’s compact yet has enough space for all the essential stuff. Out of the box, only a few parts are included, including the bolts and screws. There are planks included for additional support that you need to attach to a pair of legs.

Eleven Desk Prototype

On his Instagram, Alberto Monteón shared the Eleven as his workspace, where he spends most of his time. His desk has improved over a couple of years, and he’s now sharing how it looks. He’s a designer, so he recognizes the needs of most creative professionals. From an ordinary foldable plastic table, the designer switched to a wooden version that he created.

Eleven Desk Design Concept

The Eleven Desk is still a prototype, but we can see its potential. For example, the parts can be placed in a flat pack for easier transport. Hopefully, a manufacturer will see this design and be willing to help produce and sell the designer’s idea.

This wooden desk embraces minimalism through a simple build and removable storage space

The Diag Desk is a minimalist, modern desk built to optimize desk space while incorporating storage elements like removable leather compartments.

When it comes to desks, the simpler the better. Desks that are rooted in simplicity, either through a minimalist approach or by embracing Scandinavian aesthetics, typically offer a lot of practicality while maintaining a stripped-down design.

Designer: Marek Błażucki

Considering its minimalist build, more space can be devoted to the desk’s tabletop, where most of the desk’s purpose is reserved. The Diag Desk from Polish designer Marek Błażucki is one kind of minimalist design that integrates storage systems into its build, ensuring that users have ample desk space while still keeping their necessary stationery within arm’s reach.

Recognized with an Honorable Mention from LOOP Design’s 2021 award season, the Diag Desk consists of a wooden desktop supported by four steel legs. The rectangular desktop is cradled by raised wooden lips that help organize your stationery items into a grid and prevent them from falling off the desk.

Along the backside of the desk, users can find integrated cavities where leather organizers can be strapped for extra storage. One cubic leather organizer can be used for loose items like writing utensils and measuring tools, whereas the rectangular organizer can store slimmer accessories such as business cards and smaller notebooks.

Offering plenty of leg height and room, the desk is raised to the average height of sitting desks. The desktop itself is conceptualized in either veneer/solid wood or lacquered MDF wood fibers, while the legs are constructed from brushed stainless steel or an anthracite structural lacquered base.

This sleek modern desk finds versatility and simplicity through a system of organizational wooden bars!

Bars is a Scandinavian-inspired desk design that finds versatility and simplicity through an organizational system of wooden beams.

Desks do it all for us. Not only do we work there, but they become our storage bins, our mail sorting cabinets, our coffee tables. With all of their versatility, these different uses aren’t typically put into consideration when designing desks.

When desks are built too simply, they run the risk of not being able to handle all of the supplemental uses we impose on them. The more complex the desk, the less likely we are to intuit all of its uses. Product designer, João Teixeira understood the assignment when he designed Bars, a minimalist wooden desk that’s built on intuitive design principles to balance versatility with simplicity.

Aptly named, Bars is a modern desk that finds multiple uses through an overlapping system of wooden bars. Designed to help organize our work and off days, the system of bars provides clever, integrated storage options to keep our writing utensils and smartphones in designated areas and keep our working space free of clutter. Carved along each one of the wooden beams, Teixeira incorporated narrow, sunken storage bins that are just the right size to keep our erasers, pens, and stationery.

Along the desk’s rear wooden beams, Teixeira hollowed out a lengthy slot that fastens our smartphones into place while we work, keeping the threat of endless scrolling at arm’s length. Teixeira also envisioned the bars working as a sort of resting place for bulkier work-related items like over-ear headphones. Wrapping around three sides of Bars, the organizational system of wooden beams helps keep the desk’s working space free of mess so our workdays can be too.

Designer: João Teixeira

Bars is a simply built, yet versatile desk that keeps a modern, minimalist profile.

Inspired by Scandinavian design, Bars is minimalist by design and keeps a natural, polished wooden look.

This sleek home office desk organizes cluttered workspace, retaining a warm yet minimal aesthetic

Meet Blis, a minimalistic office desk centered on the friendly, warm, and homely element – keeping in mind that it’s going to adorn your living space.

These days work from home regime is a common affair and hitting the sweet spot for a productive work routine is hard to strive at times. There’re so many distractions around (audio and visual) it gets super hard to concentrate. How the home office desk is set up has a huge bearing on the focus – reason enough for so much fuzz around such desks. The Blis Home Office Desk designed by Rodrigo Torres for MUMA is a testament to the fact that work from home setup doesn’t necessarily be brimmed with geeky stuff.

The cool desk design keeps the wire clutter to a minimum for a clean look, hiding them from plain sight in the funneled legs. While it gives the impression of a very simple desk, there are inclusions that enhance the tidiness aspect further. There’s a sleek groove on the back section to store anything from files, papers, or pens to folders or charging cables. This section has an embedded board on top to pin all your important tasks, reminders or calendar events, or photos of loved ones to be always in a blissful frame of mind.

The desk has an elevated section on the other side for planters, pen stands or other props to keep things organized without much effort. On the bottom, there is a storage box that can move independently in the vertical direction too. The designer has incorporated the wooden inserts with the highest quality surface laminates by Wilsonart for years of durability. The Blis Home Office Desk comes in cool white silver, black and dusted grey finish that will go with any home interior without a semblance of doubt.

The furniture piece is the ideal setup for any work from home regime – especially for people who value a very sleek aesthetic for anything they sport in their home interiors. I would definitely like to have this desk as a part of my WFH schedule for peak focus sessions!
