Homer Simpson Disappearing Into Bush Kitchen Sponge Holder

As far as sponge holders go, this is a great one.  3D-printed and sold by Etsy shop Tecnopla, this green kitchen sponge holder makes Homer Simpson appear to be disappearing into a bush, just like in the now meme-ified scene from The Simpsons Season 5 Episode 16 ‘Homer Loves Flanders’. Now all you need is a holder for your glass washing brush that makes the blue bristles appear to be Marge’s hair, and your kitchen sink will finally have the Simpsons theme you never knew you needed, but now can’t possibly live without.

The Simpsons Sponge holder (say that ten times fast) costs $12.15 and measures approximately 3.75″ x 2.75″ x 2″. It was designed for holding a thick scouring sponge like the one seen in the photo above. It is NOT designed for holding a shower scrunchie in the shower, but that’s not going to stop me from doing it anyway or my wife from asking what the hell Homer is doing in the shower hiding in a bush.

Real Life Homer Simpson: The D’oh of Your Nightmares

Last summer, artist Miguel Vasquez created some images that show what Spongebob and Patrick would look like in real life. The renderings were the stuff of nightmares. Now, Vasquez is back with a rendering of what Homer Simpson would look like if you ran into him on the street.

Homie is terrifying to look at with his bug eyes and giant mouth. He looks like he should come out of the sink in the next Stephen King horror flick to choke you while screaming “YOU LITTLE!”. Creepy as real Homer may be, the illustrations are fantastic, and this dude has some serious talent.

And no matter how disturbing this is, Homer certainly is easier on the eyes than real-life Patrick Star was. I’m fairly sure I saw Patrick in the cages under the cabin in The Cabin in the Woods.

Homer Simpson Made from Junk Food

Sometimes the folks over at Mandatory.com like to make life sized recreations of cartoon and movie characters out of food. It’s fun, not to mention delicious. Their latest creation is a bust of Homer Simpson made out of all the junk foods that Homer Simpson loves. Which means that we love them too.
