Beetlejuice Handbook for the Recently Deceased Journal: It’s SHOWTIME!

This book looks just like the Handbook for the Recently Deceased from Beetlejuice. But unlike the one in the movie, it won’t instruct you on what to do when you die. Instead, it’s a hardcover journal, so you can write down your own thoughts about being recently deceased or anything else.

This journal has 250 pages for you to fill. Just don’t say you-know-who’s name three times while you’re doodling. I think you can probably write it three times safely, but it’s better not to take the chance.

If you fill up this journal with nothing but his name? God only knows what would happen. DO NOT DO THIS. Seriously. Just don’t. It’s really bad! Just take my word for it.

The Shining Jack’s Journal Is Great for Curing Writer’s Block

The Shining was one of the films that helped put Stephen King movie adaptations on the map. Jack Nicholson was superb in that film and it was scary as hell. Still, I happened to have liked the 1997 TV mini series adaptation better. Fans of The Shining who need a place to write their next great novel will want to pick up Jack’s Journal.

This journal has a cover printed with a typewriter that has the “ALL WORK AND NO PLAY MAKES JACK A DULL BOY.” typed, along with inner flaps covered with Jack’s obsessive statement.

It has a ribbon bookmark to help you find where you left off, and each page has lined paper with a typewriter design on the bottom.

The journal sells for $11.99(USD) on ThinkGeek.

Star Wars R2-D2 Journal: The Notebook You’re Looking for

This R2-D2 journal is really the perfect way to smuggle plans for the Death Star. If you don’t have an R2 unit, this is the next best way to transport sensitive information. Sure, it isn’t digital, but if you get caught you can always tear the page out and eat it.

You can write anything down in this journal; your Star Wars fan fiction, some Star Wars art, cool story ideas, grocery lists, whatever. It looks just like R2-D2 and has an elastic strap to keep the journal closed so Imperials can’t see what’s inside. It also has a folder inside the back cover for any documents you are carrying.

It’s only $19.99(USD) from ThinkGeek – much cheaper than an actual astromech droid.
