Nintendo x Cold Stone Creamery Video Game Themed Sundaes

If there’s one thing Nintendo knows how to do, it’s sell products. Cold Stone Creamery teamed up with the video game giant to sell ice cream sundaes themed after some of their most popular games. I don’t know about you, but I’m already waiting outside my local Cold Stone waiting for them to open so I can try them all.

Varieties include the Mario Party Superstars-inspired Superstar Sprinkle Blast (cake batter ice cream, yellow cake, blue frosting, and rainbow sprinkles), Animal Crossing’s Island Getaway (chocolate ice cream, strawberries, banana and whipped topping), and Kirby’s Mighty Pink Puff (strawberry ice cream, strawberries, mini marshmallows, and caramel). Which sounds best to you? I’m going to mix them all together and create a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sundae!

There’s also a Mario Kart Rainbow Road-inspired ice cream cake available, which I better get for my next birthday. OR ELSE. Or else I’ll be locking myself in my room and crying for the remainder of the day. You know, the usual.

Finally, A Pillow That Lets You Sleep With Your Head Inside Kirby’s Mouth

Kirby: he eats everything in sight. Including your bad dreams, thanks to this Kirby sleep pillow. Designed with a detachable tongue cushion, you can stick your head in Kirby’s mouth and just let all your daily woes slip away. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a white-noise machine that made a sucking sound.

Originally released by Bandai for $97, it appears all the official units have sold out and been replaced with units of… questionable authenticity on Amazon (affiliate link), albeit for a much more reasonable $23 – $28. Just remember that you get what you pay for, and in this case, you will be paying for a Pink Sucky Blob Pillow.

Obviously, we should try to get a leg-up on the trend and start selling Big Mouth Yellow Pellet Eater pillows before the officially licensed Pac-Man pillows even hit the market. Get rich quick scheme – or cease-and-desist scheme?! Probably the latter.

Over 100 Switch titles are discounted in Nintendo’s summer sale

First-party Nintendo Switch games don’t go on sale often, but when they do, it’s usually worth checking out. The company’s annual summer sale is now running, and it includes first-party titles featuring characters like Mario, Donkey Kong and Kirby. T...

Custom-painted GameCubes Feature Classic Nintendo Characters

Over the years, Nintendo has made some great consoles. From the original NES to the Super Nintendo, to the Switch, there are lots of classic systems out there. The GameCube is among my favorites. There was just something so great about the games, the design of the console, and its controller, and it really stepped up Nintendo’s graphical game.

If you’re a GameCube fan like me, check out these sweet custom systems I spotted over on Etsy.

Each of these unique game systems was hand-painted by Mago Serenil of Custom GameCubes. There are designs based on Donkey Kong, Thwomp, Kirby, and Dark Samus, with matching color schemes on both the console and its controller. I can’t decide which one I like best, but I do have a soft spot in my heart for the bubble gum pink Kirby.

Thwomp works great as a cube, but he could use some more spikes. I also wouldn’t recommend dropping him on the floor to crush your Mario or Luigi action figures.

The custom GameCubes are currently listed for sale for $200 each, and would make a great display piece for any Nintendo fan’s collection.

Kirby Desk Fan Doesn’t Suck, It Blows

Are you a fan of Nintendo’s Kirby games? Well how would you like a fan of Kirby, then? Your wish is my command. Actually, I had nothing to do with it. This Kirby of the Stars desk fan is the brainchild of SK Japan.

The fan really does look like Kirby, with his mouth agape and ready to blow a cool breeze of air on you while you slave away at your desk. The bubbly looking pink fan measures 6.29″ in diameter, and runs on USB power.

You can order the Kirby fan from NCSX now for about $39. Apparently, it isn’t the first time that a Kirby fan was released – last year, SEGA attempted to release a version, but they neglected to cover the fan blades, so Kirby could easily chew up your fingers. This new version has a cover over the blades to protect your digits from being eaten by the notoriously hungry pink blob.
