ATRIA Outdoor Kitchen by Abimis can be customized to serve the needs of the whole family

Sustainable Atria Outdoor Kitchen Design

Outdoor kitchens seem to be more important now than ever. The pandemic has changed social settings, suggesting people distance themselves from one another. An alternative is to get together outside; that is why al fresco dining is offered and encouraged in more cities.

Receiving guests at home is also slowly becoming more regular. The pandemic isn’t over yet, but after two years, the society is learning to adapt to the New Normal. Perhaps it is time for you and me to rearrange at home and start receiving guests.

Suppose you can build a new house, good for you. If not, just focus on fixing things around or redecorating. If you love eating out, maybe you should try cooking your food instead. Or, if you already love cooking, you should now upgrade your kitchen.

Try imagining an outdoor kitchen as it can be more fun and exciting. I can totally see myself whipping up a meal for family and friends as I welcome them to my house for the first time in two years. Planning a new outdoor kitchen may be a challenge, but good thing there is Abimis with the ATRIA.

It’s meant to be installed outside your home, maybe at a guesthouse or the patio. The modular design and stainless steel material make the Atria easily customizable to suit your taste and needs.

Designed by Studio Delineo and Massimo Rosati, the ÀTRIA is a collaboration product that aims to meet the requirements for more fun and efficient outside cooking. This kitchen system can be installed in most outdoor settings, whether your garden, balcony, or terrace. It’s modern, high-tech, and flexible as you can choose different functions, layouts, and different colors.

The open kitchen configuration includes modules in different colors and finishes. Choose from any of the RAL colors, and the modules will be painted in the same way vehicles are painted. This method allows for resistance and duration, especially since the modules will be exposed to air most of the time.

The ÀTRIA is available in different heights and comes with adjustable feet for stability. Height adjustment is vital so every kitchen owner will be comfortable. The modern outdoor kitchen is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. What makes the material special is that it is a biologically neutral material. This means it does not release any substance into the food. The material is also anti-bacterial and can resist impact, high temperature, moisture, humidity, and corrosion. Believe it or not, the kitchen system is easy to clean and is 100% recyclable.

A hidden induction cooking unit is the best part of this modern, tech-savvy kitchen!

This kitchen’s secret sauce is a flexible, hidden, induction cooktop – and it is flexible! Lapitech, an Italian company, created a cooking system that could be fully concealed under a modern sintered stone kitchen counter! It is activated by a technological cooking mat and the innovative system features an electrothermal part developed in collaboration with the University of Padua. Lapitec Chef was brought to life after years of research and is patented.

The induction cooking system is seamless and very easy to operate. All you have to do is place the Lapitec Chef silicone mat on your worktop to activate the touch controls and switch on the system. The mat is key, without it the induction unit and controls will be inactive and the worktop is like any other kitchen counter only distinguished only by small engravings that align with the mat’s controls.

Lapitec Chef allows for easy cleaning and storage so the counter can be used for other activities like preparing food, plating dishes and hosting social occasions. Interestingly, Lapitec is a 100% sintered stone and it is also non-porous, non-absorbent as well as resistant to chemicals which makes it ideal for both indoor and outdoor kitchens. You can choose to have either two or four cooking rings for your induction system.

The one-of-its-kind cooking mat looks like a normal silicone mat but comes equipped with magnetic sensors and a hidden coil. Lapitec Chef is compatible with all induction cookware and the best part is that it is also dishwasher safe! For additional safety,  it can be configured to work in bridge and child lock mode. You can choose from different finishes to match the induction system with your kitchen’s aesthetic while integrating the technical potential of sintered stone to elevate your cooking game!

Make meal prep hassle-free again with this space-saving cutting board!

One of the biggest lifestyle changes for me was meal prep, it eliminates the fuss of deciding what to cook every day and made grocery shopping so much easier. One of the best parts was I didn’t have to order out when I was at work and it made me realize how quickly “But it is just $12!” adds up when you practically do it every other day. Seems like everyone was riding this meal prep wave till we were hit with WFH and that sudden change the pandemic brought on derailed the most disciplined people. For me, I stopped meal prep because I was adjusting to working from home and doing chores at the same time. So I started snacking throughout the day instead of cooking a meal because who wants to clean after a perpetual Monday (that is what it feels like in quarantine)? Enter TidyBoard! It is not wearing a cape but it is here to make your life easier and get your good eating habits back on track!

TidyBoard was designed to encourage healthy eating and turn it into a sustainable lifestyle change instead of a trend (looking at you, juice cleanse!). It streamlines your prep with strategically placed strainers, catches, and containers on the end of the cutting board so there is more to eat and less to clean. It keeps food and scraps separate and allows you to strain hands-free. When you are done with the chopping and cutting, one swipe of your hand will clear it all. TidyBoard is constructed from bamboo which is antibacterial and durable enough to last for years making the wear and tear worth the effort. Bamboo also makes it lightweight and eco-friendly. “The TidyBoard was mindfully influenced by math and physics. Our board is engineered as a lever to stay steady even with a heavy load in the containers,” says the team.

The product is calculatingly made to optimize your counter space and the collapsible containers make it super easy to prep and store. It can hang off the edge of your sink which actually makes you use less of your countertop for prep and you don’t have to worry about losing precious produce or fresh pasta to your sink! The cutting board acts as a lever to help hold the weight of the catch – it can hold up to 9 lbs of food in its container while hanging off your counter (do you even lift?). The BPA-free Food Grade silicone containers are made collapsible to save 50% of drawer/cabinet space which makes it perfect for small kitchens or homes that don’t have a lot of storage. The large catch and containers have volumetric and measuring marks to aid you in your prep so that you are never short on a meal because of wrong calculations! The collapsible strainers are nestled into the end of the board for cleaning or straining hands-free. The kit includes snap-on lids so you can store them in the containers right after prep. The lids also have a vent which makes it easy to microwave so you can store and eat from the same container.

Gordon Ramsey will be very pleased with your kitchen work ethic because TidyBoard keeps it clean and clutter-free. Say goodbye to chaotic cooking and welcome spick and span prep…something Monica Geller would say and we would absolutely agree with her! So prep ingredients without any stress, strain pasta, store cuttings, soak fruits and veggies, compost scraps, and serve up a whole cheese platter too if you feel like! It is hard enough to sanitize everything all the time, work from home, do all chores, so the last thing you should have to worry about is your meals and cleaning up after you cook. Bon appetit!

This kitchen cupboard’s detailed design will please Marie Kondo and Bobby Berk!

We all want a cupboard or a wardrobe that will take us to Narnia because dealing with the White Witch seems easier than dealing with this pandemic. While magic furniture may not be something we can order online, we sure hope we can get the Muzhi cupboard to make the extended hours in the kitchen more magical! Yen-Hao, Chu is an award-winning designer who has created the Muzhi cupboard for storing all your kitchenware in a way that will make Marie Kondo proud of your organization skills and Bobby Berk happy with your sense of aesthetic.

The cupboard is made of three main parts that the owner can assemble or disassemble according to their needs. The upper part of the cupboard is semi-open where the right side can be used to store tableware and the left side can be used for potted plants as it is open on three sides which allows for ample sunlight. The middle area is an open spacious section that can be used as a sideboard, a small bar counter, or a place to keep small and medium-sized appliances like a kettle, coffee maker or a toaster. Meanwhile, the lower section has a partly glazed left-hand drawer to let the owner see what’s stored inside and the large tray area on the right-hand side can be used to store pot covers or everyday utensils. Details like the solid timber handrail and hanging rails were added to provide a neat place for towels and wine glasses.

Muzhi comes in two finishes and has a simple yet elegant design that blends clean lines with the warmth of wood – a piece of evergreen furniture that will always be useful. It also makes the kitchen look more airy and spacious with the partially-open components. The modular build of this piece makes it the right fit for any kitchen but especially smaller ones that need to optimize space. Having Muzhi is definitely better than a bunch of bulky cabinets, it adds a timeless touch to your kitchen and you never have to fumble to find your dishes again.

And we can’t help but love the hanging lamps that create a focal point as well as a differentiation between the two spaces.

Man-cave meet kitchen! Leather, hues of copper, and warm accents fill up this kitchen design by Lori Clarke Design. But the focal point of this entire setup is the copper hood that dominates the place while giving the modern kitchen a touch of the antique.

Do you dare to blue? This kitchen is surely inspiring us to go bluer! Designed by Evan Ljunghag, Joshua Coffie of Vigeo Construction uses blue tiles in the backsplash to create a contrast that makes your kitchen stand apart with ease.

Sometimes we should just let nature do the talking, or in this case, the beautiful wooden countertop with its natural curves should do the talking. PureHaven Homes designed this kitchen with a massive wooden platform that acts as a separator as well as a bar set up in this kitchen that feels perfect for any bachelor pad!
