LEGO Monument Valley Concept Set: Impossible is Awesome

LEGO Ideas member Isometry wants to make the impossible possible with his proposal for a Monument Valley LEGO set. Just like the game, Isometry’s concept has a minimalist design as well as numerous moving parts, such as bridges, stairs and water wheels.

The set includes four of the game’s buildings – the Garden, the Labyrinth, the Water Palace and the Halcyon Court – and one each of Ida, a Totem and a Crow. I’m assuming the structures won’t work exactly as they do in the game, or will look different from another angle.

You can vote for the set on LEGO Ideas. I think Isometry nailed the game’s aesthetics. My only criticism is that his version of Ida needs a longer and sharper hat, and the Crow needs a longer beak.

Monument Valley Plushies: Possible Objects

iam8bit’s been on a tear this month, releasing official merchandise from Psychonauts, Guild Wars 2 and now the beautiful mobile puzzle game Monument Valley. The store has long had prints of the game’s levels, but now they also have t-shirts, pins and these plush toys.

The Ida plush is 10″ tall, the Crow plush is 9″ tall and the Totem plush is 13″ tall. Sadly they weren’t able to make stuffed versions of the levels.

iam8bit sells the Totem plush for $35 (USD), while Ida and the Crow go for $22.50. However, until 11/30/15 you can get all three for only $70. That’s a no-brainer.
