Gymkhana 6 has Ken Block at it Again

Ken Block is probably more famous for his series of web videos than he is for his racing carreer. Block has made five previous installments in his Gymkhana video franchise with the last one being a...

Ken Block Signs on As Racing Advisor for EA’s Need for Speed

EA has announced that it has signed a deal with Ken Block in which he will become the Racing Advisor for the Need for Speed franchise. Block is an amazing race car driver who has participated in rally racing and won multiple X-Games medals. EA will also be sponsoring Block and his Ford Fiesta ST 2013 racing car.

The best news from this announcement isn’t that Block will be associated with Need for Speed, at least not for me. The best news is that EA will be working with Block on the release of Gymkhana Six. If you never seen a Gymkhana video and you’re a fan of cars or racing, you’re really missing out. So why not watch the last one now?..

EA says that the next installment in the Gymkhana franchise will be released in its entirety on November 11. EA promises that the new video raises the bar for what can be done behind the wheel of a car. That bar was already pretty high after Gymkhana 5, in my opinion. The next video the franchise will be available directly from the Need for Speed website and on the franchise’s YouTube channel.

EA has announced that it has teamed up with X-Games driver and general Hoonigan Ken Block in a multiyear partnership that will see Block act is the Racing Advisor for the Need for Speed franchise....

Need for Speed Most Wanted Demo Crashes onto Xbox 360 and PS3

There are few things worse than spending your hard-earned money on a video game and then finding out it’s crap. To avoid this problem I typically download the demo first and decide if it’s a good game before I spend my $50 or $60. If you’ve been on the fence about buying EA’s new Need for Speed Most Wanted video game, the demo is now available, despite the game being released two weeks ago.

EA announced that the demo is available right now on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live. The demo let’s players cruise around the open world of Fairhaven City and gives you a good taste of what to expect from the full game. Players will get to drive an Aston Martin V12 Vantage to begin with and can find three other vehicles hidden around the city.

Those other vehicles include the Porsche 911 Carrera S, Audi R8 GT Spyder, and the Ford Focus RS500. Players of the demo will have to hunt down those cars to be able to drive them and unlock unique races, challenges, and mods they feature. Those who play the demo will be also able to achieve up to 50,000 Speed Points that will carry over into the full game if you purchase it.

Galaxy Note II coming to T-Mobile on October 24th, say leaked documents

Galaxy Note II coming to T-Mobile on October 24th, say leaked documents

Samsung's Galaxy Note II is happily filling hands in Korea and the UK without so much as a release date announced stateside. We may now have one, thanks to the folks at TmoNews, who appear to have snagged an internal document which suggests the phablet will arrive at the Magenta carrier on October 24th. Coincidentally (or not), Samsung is holding an event the same day, marrying with our previous speculation that it'll be unveiling the various carrier editions of the 5.5-inch beast there. Our suspicions are flagged, however, at the mention that Need for Speed: Most Wanted will come pre-installed, a game that isn't slated for release until October 30th -- not that we haven't seen similar release partnerships from the Note crew before. Although we can't confirm the legitimacy of this leak, we can suggest you start building up that grip strength just in case.
