What do you look for in a potential partner? Some people choose personality over looks, while others prioritize the amount of facial fuzz their potential partner has. The latter sounds strange, I know, but an app that aims to match people up based on beards (or the lack thereof) actually exists. It’s called Bristlr, and it connects “those with beards to those who want to stroke beards.”

Catchy tagline, eh? It’s not your average dating app, but then again, if your criteria for choosing a partner lies mostly on their beards, then you don’t exactly have run-of-the-mill needs either.

Bristlr was developed by John Kershaw as a joke, but the app is currently in open beta-testing. You can check it out here.
