Fallout 4 T-51 Sugar Bombs Power Armor USB Hub: Power for the Wasteland and Beyond

The Fallout-inspired charging hub is for the vault dweller that has a lot of gadgets but wants a taste of the wasteland world outside. It’s a very cool replica of a suit of power armor from the game, just much tinier and lighter. There’s no fusion core required to power it up.

This hub really is the bomb. It’s the perfect office accessory for Fallout fans and the Sugar Bombs cereal theme makes it extra cool. But aside from being a good looking replica of the T-51 with its power armor station, it’s also a USB hub with four ports.

If you add an AC adapter you can plug it into a wall outlet and it will charge up to four of your devices at the same time. The rest of the time it’s just a cool desktop figure that you can admire. The headlamp even lights up when unit is plugged in and flashes when charging.

The Fallout 4 T-51 Sugar Bombs Power Armor USB Hub measures 8″ tall, and its base is 6-1/4″ square. It’s available now over at ThinkGeek for $89.99.

This Life-Size Fallout T-45 Power Armor Bust Will Intimidate Your Houseguests

Fallout 76 is almost here. What are you going to do to pass the time until it’s in your hands? I know what I’m going to do. I’m going to sell a kidney or two, and get myself this awesome Fallout T-45 Power Armor Bust. The bust is life-size, measuring almost 35 inches across and 30 inches tall.

It is made of polystone resin and hand-painted to get every detail screen accurate. Speaking of accuracy, this bust also features a battery-powered LED headlamp. It is as heavy as it is big, weighing in at just over 52 pounds. That polystone is heavy! But not as heavy as real power armor would be though.

There’s no release date yet, but they are expected to ship out in the third quarter of next year. You probably already guessed that it is also expensive – at $1,299. Yep, that’s a lot of bottle caps. So you better start drinking lots of Nuka Cola. If you want one you better hurry though. This is being produced in a limited edition of only 500.

The game itself will be out long before you get your lifesize bust. Fallout 76 is set to release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 14, 2018.

3D Printed Fallout Power Armor Helmet: Science!

Thanks to Daniel Lilygreen, we don’t have to wait for a nuclear war to break out to craft part of a Power Armor. He designed a 3D printable, life-size and wearable T-45d helmet, and he’s sharing his files for free.

Daniel says the helmet is made of 49 items, which in turn form 12 main pieces that you can dowel together. Since you’ll be printing the helmet, you don’t have to find magazines to customize its color. That doesn’t even make sense in post-nuclear Boston.

Bethesda Teases Fallout 4 Release Date with New Live Action Trailer

Fallout 4 The Wanderer

With less than a month left until the launch of Bethesda Game Studios’ most anticipated post-apocalyptic open world RPG, the developers have decided to tease gamers a bit more with a new live action trailer titled ‘The Wanderer.’

Long before gamers took an arrow to the knee while playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Bethesda already was a well-established name in the gaming industry. I vividly remember spending many hours (probably too many) while a high-school student playing The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, and a few years after that I was so entangled with the Fallout 3 story that my mobile phone’s ringtone was The Ink Spots’ ‘I Don’t Want to Set the World On Fire.’ Fast-forward a few more years and now we’re preparing for the launch of the fourth installment of the Fallout franchise with a new live action trailer. If anyone says that Bethesda doesn’t know how to set the mood, they couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Set to Dion’s 1961 song The Wanderer, the trailer is firm proof that Bethesda is capable of telling a story in less than a minute, and that the developers have an exquisite taste in music. There’s everything from the calm life from before the nuclear blast to saving people, hunting things, the family business. Oops, sorry, I got carried away there for a second! All this wandering starts with Sole Survivor exiting Vault 111 with a German Shepherd by his side, and a Pip-Boy 3000 around his arm. One of the main purposes of this trailer was to show how the character evolves throughout the game. Sure, he looks vulnerable in the leather armor he’s wearing at first, but it all culminates with our hero suiting up in the Power Armor, which needless to say, is beyond attractive. As for the title of the trailer, it’s a clear reference to Fallout 3’s hero, the Lone Wanderer, who much like the current protagonist, was accompanied by a dog in the promotional material. In the open world game equation that allows a non-linear gameplay, wandering makes a lot of sense and even feels natural. Watch the trailer below and see why this whole thing gave me goosebumps.

The Fallout 4 release date was set by Bethesda Game Studios for November 10, but the game can already be pre-ordered on Amazon for $59.99. Besides the PC version, there also is one for PS4 and another for Xbox One, so it doesn’t really matter which gaming platform you prefer, as Bethesda has got you covered. A Pip-Boy Edition for all three platforms will also be launched, and at double the price of the standard version, it will include an actual Pip-Boy. Irresistible, right? The wearable can embed a smartphone that runs the second screen functionality of the game. This way, people enjoying the radioactive wasteland will no longer have to build it by themselves, and will get to spend that time actually playing the game.
