Saroléa’s stunning electric café racer comes with a carbon fiber helmet and tailored suit for the rider!

I guess you could call the Saroléa’s N60 electric bike the “complete package”! The Belgian motorcycle company has figured out the best way to make the motorcycle the ultimate style icon – design a dapper suit and a slick carbon-fiber helmet to make the rider and the ride complement each other perfectly! Saroléa partnered with Café Costume and Hedon to create the tailored biker suit with integrated protective elements, and Hedon to create the immaculate carbon-fiber helmet. The suit comes uniquely tailored to your measurements, along with the helmet, which is size-matched to your head. Moreover, a partnership with Studio Blade even means the bike comes with its own EDC, a commemorative full-tang Damascus Steel knife.

The collaborative effort is centered around the N60, Saroléa’s latest cafe-style e-bike built on the same platform as their previous stunner, the Manx7 electric superbike, with an air-cooled brushless DC motor capable of 163 horsepower and a battery delivering an impressive range of 330 kilometers (or 205 miles) on a full charge. Specifications aside, the N60 comes housed in a carbon fiber monocoque boasting of a design that feels like the spiritual successor to the Manx7. While the Manx7 sported a more streamlined design, the N60 uses more robust forms and celebrates straight lines. The bike sports a black paint job, with the judicious use of orange accents to create drama and contrast, and a black-on-black pattern on the side which pairs stunningly well with the carbon-fiber weave pattern on the bike helmet. All in all, the N60 isn’t just another e-bike… it’s an experience. The fact that it comes with its rider-specific accouterments really helps build the bond between man and machine, and practically ensures that when you’re tearing down the tarmac, all eyes will certainly be on you!

A year following their fourth Isle of Man TT competition with their SP7 race machine and their development rider Dean Harrison, Saroléa decided to transform their racer into a street-legal, electric version for the rest of us to enjoy.

Called the MANX7, its throwback aesthetic takes inspiration from the first SP7 version built in 2014. This refined iteration pays tribute to Saroléa’s strong heritage but stands out with an overall shape and details unique to electric bikes. Its stance, proportions, and material combination, and exposed verticality of the inner architecture give its aesthetic a modern twist that’s equally aggressive and eye-catching. Simple and minimalistic, unnecessary elements have been eliminated as much as possible while still maintaining its street-legalness.

As far as guts go, the backbone of the MANX7 is a handmade, carbon fiber, monocoque chassis. Its composition of new materials and unique construction make it lightweight, durable, and rigid. It’s also perfectly balanced with a perfect 50/50 front and rear weight distribution, which results in expert handling and an easy ride. Weighing in at a mere 478 lbs, it’s lighter than comparable e-bikes, even with its 22kWh battery pack. Speaking of power, its advanced electric drivetrain delivers exhilarating performance… all with a single moving piece – the rotor.
Its air-cooled, brushless DC motor puts out 120 KW and delivers 450Nm at the crank – resulting in silent but deadly, neck-breaking acceleration that can propel you from 0-62 mph in just 2.8 seconds.

Lighter better faster stronger!

No, I’m not singing a song composed by iconic French electronic duo Daft Punk, I’m describing the Saroléa ManX 7, designed by France-based Tryptik Studio and Serge Rosak. The ManX 7, for Saroléa aims to be what the brand describes as an “electricon”, or a symbol of electric motorbike perfection.

The ManX 7’s design was made to push boundaries in performance as well as cater to Saroléa’s obsession with having the highest performance to weight ratio. The resulting bike boasts of carbon-fiber fairings, a Plexiglas body, and even weight-cutting by using lightweight titanium and aluminum screws and bolts. Even the wheels come in a carbon fiber variant! The Belgian manufacturer says, “Saroléa’s advanced electric drivetrain delivers exhilarating performance. Unlike a gasoline internal combustion engine with hundreds of moving parts, Saroléa electric motors have only one moving piece: the rotor. As a result, Saroléa MANX7 acceleration is instantaneous, silent and smooth: Twist the throttle and in as little as 3.0 seconds it’s traveling at 100 km per hour, without hesitation, and without a drop of gasoline.”

The aesthetic of the 204 horsepower electric beast may seem bulky, given the way the body clads the bike, but it uses color distribution to cut the weight. Look at the renders above and below, at the way the bike shows off only its highlights to appear incredibly sleek, streamlined and desirable. Scroll further down to view the body, that looks stunning in black, and even comes with a golden belt, that breaks the bike’s mass into three groups. The choice of color, the vertical “straightforward” division of mass, and its slick look make you take the bike seriously, because the ManX 7, like its name suggests, isn’t for boys…
