Scissors That Differ

cizorz_01

Cizorz breaks the archetypical perception of traditional-type scissors with an entirely new and innovative aesthetic and storing solution! When compressed, its as slim as a butter knife and can easily be placed in an upright holder that follows its cylindrical form. It’s also safer to store and grab when the scissors are needed. Composed of a hardened steel blade, a structural core and a leaf spring it functions in the same familiar way as conventional scissors. The body is wrapped in a non-slip silicon finish, wood, or bamboo depending on the users unique taste.

Easy Squeezy!

gridy_01

Gridy introduces new aesthetics and functionality to the juicer to express sensuality and simplicity. This juicer uses a visually exciting ‘screen grate’ that can be detached from the juicer itself to clean out the ugly and messy accumulation of pulp and pips as they fall directly into the holding container. When juicing the fruit, this ‘screen grate’ works like a sieve to separate the pulp and pips from the juice. To clean, the screen-grate can be easily removed. Serving juice directly with the Gridy becomes an easy and clean process. Made from PMMA (a clear plastic acrylic that replaces glass) or SAN (a type of resin), Gridy is composed of two molded components – users can choose between different styles of screen grates and different colors to match their taste.

Gridy is a Red Dot: Design Concept Award winner.

Marvelous Metal and Marble Lighting

ase_00

Although the Here lamp is of an archetypal lamp shape, the details express a simple and pure modern design. Here also aims to re-think the 360-degree rotational function in a simple way by avoiding complicated mechanisms. With a well-matched material combination, one part of the design is complementary to the other and each material has its own function in the creation of the lamp. It’s easily produced as it uses basic components such as concrete or marble for the base, lacquered steel for the shade, and either traditional or LED light bulbs. Thanks to this versatile combination, the three main components (base, shade and cable) can be reproduced in many materials and colors.
