This Jumbo Snorlax Lounger Will Lull You to Sleep… and Steal Your Wallet

Do you have trouble getting to sleep? No luck with Melatonin or Ambien? Well, here’s something that will surely get you some shut-eye – a gigantic Snorlax sleep lounger.

Created lovingly by Knot Again by Amina, this handmade Snorlax bed (aka the “Sleeping Monster”) is sure to lull to sleep anyone who dares to lay on its inviting and rotund belly. For shipping purposes, the monster comes unstuffed, but Amina will provide instructions for stuffing your Snorlax locally. That’s sure to be a process that’s more involved than your Thanksgiving turkey.

This amazing creation is the perfect living room addition for any Pokémon fan with deep pockets. I’ve got the first part covered, but sadly, $3500 is a bit above my pay grade when it comes to my collection of geeky wonders.

11 Cutest Pokemon Plush Toys

pokemon-plush

Who doesn’t love a nice, cuddly, plush toy to snuggle up against and hold? And who doesn’t think Pokemon are some of the cutest little creatures ever invented? Only a person without a heart!

If you’re a human with a heart, take a look at these picks for the most precious, adorable, cute, Pokemon Plush toys! And if you don’t have a heart, maybe this list will make you grow one.

Pokemon Amigurumi Plush

These crocheted little creatures are simply perfect! They’re small, collectable, and unique since they’re not your typical plush toys. These handmade items are high-quality and made with lots of special care and effort. You’ll love whichever one you choose forever. Or even better, choose all of Pokemon!

Snorlax Pokemon Plush

This pillowy Snorlax plush is a must for all you Snorlax imitators out there. Wanna be lazy? Lay your head against Snorlax and drift off into dreams filled with Pokemon catching adventures. “Snorlax, I choose you!”

OliaDesign Pokémon Pikachu Bulbasaur Squirtle Charmander Soft Plush

I’m a sucker for collectable items, hence why this is the second Pokemon set I’ve chosen to include. Once you’ve got one plush, it’s hard not to get even more! They’re all just so darn cute. And look at the price! It doesn’t get much better than that, so go ahead and fill up your entire room with Pokemon plushes; it’ll be the softest, cutest room out there.

Cutepower Pokemon Stuffed Plush Toys Set

Ooh yes, another Pokemon Plush set! This set doesn’t just have your typical, ultra popular Pikachu though. It’s got all kinds of furry, fantastic friends. They’re totally impossible to resist and I’m glad this set comes with nine of them. I know I’d end up buying them all individually, so I’m very glad they all come together. And just look at the eyes on all of them, sooo precious!!

Stuffed Snorlax Pokemon Plush

This Snorlax plush is much smaller than the other, which means, easy to hold! Having a bad day? Squeeze Snorlax and relax. He’s a great stress reliever, I promise. If only we were all so lucky as to be able to sleep all the time. That would certainly be living the life.

Eevee Pokemon Plush

Eevee is probably one of my favorite Pokemon. I’ve always loved her design and how she’s not only cute, but somehow classy and elegant at the same time. She’s adorable, but beautiful, and I don’t say that about every fictional creature. I love this plush version of her as well.

Pikachu Pokemon Plush

Aw, Pikachu, the face of Pokemon and perhaps one of the most iconic, recognizable names around. I’d be crazy if I didn’t include this classic character on my list. If you’re a Pokemon fan, you have to have at least one Pikachu plush or toy sitting somewhere in your house. I mean, can you call yourself a real fan if you don’t?

Rowlet Pokemon Plush

This is definitely my favorite item on the list. I’m in love with this Rowlet plush. Everything from the faux fur, to the handmade bow tie, is just perfect. I love that the whole thing is hand-crafted, it makes it extra special knowing that someone took the effort to make such a well-done product.

Raichu Pokemon Plush

This Raichu plush is a bit unique compared to the rest of the list, since it’s made with felt, rather than being knitted or sewn like other plushes. It’s a little plush, you could probably fit it in your pocket if you wanted, but it’s also so very cute, and I must say I’m now a fan of felt.

Jigglypuff Pokemon Plush

Another knitted product, much like the first item on this list, this Jigglypuff plush is handmade and high-quality. I could have chosen to include a regular Jigglypuff plush, but there’s something about knitting that makes things look cuter somehow, and look at the eyes, I think they make it even cuter.

Charizard Pokemon Plush

I love this Charizard plush! It’s adorable and cool at the same time! Maybe consider it for your male Pokemon fans, if they’re not a big fan of the cutesy stuff.

I hope you found the perfect plush for you or the Pokemon fan in your life! Remember, there are tons more to see, and if you didn’t find one that caught your fancy, take a look for more! Gotta catch em’ all.

Relax on this Pokémon Snorlax Bean Bag Chair

Snore with Snorlax. Snore on Snorlax. Relax on Snorlax. Kick back on Snorlax. Okay, enough Dr, Seuss. This is an official Snorlax bean bag chair that you can lay on. Do I really need to say more?

This is really the perfect place to relax after a long day of Pokémon hunting. He measures almost 4 feet tall and over 2 feet wide. They don’t make Pokéballs that big, so forget about catching this guy and just jump on his stomach and take a well earned nap. He doesn’t mind.

Just remember that this Pokémon is real. Try to keep reality and augmented reality separate. I know it’s hard when things like this exist in your physical space.

You can preorder this Snorlax bean bag chair over at ThinkGeek for $149.99(USD), and you should have it this December. If it looks familiar, that’s because we saw a similar, albeit unofficial Snorlax bean bag on Etsy a few years back.

Pokémon Pikachu Stacking Game: Snorlax Don’t Care

Last year we checked out Happinet’s Tsumikore, which are small toys that are made to be stacked and are often based on popular manga or anime characters. This officially licensed Pokémon toy is a lot like Tsumikore, except it turns stacking into an actual challenge.

The set features six Pikachu that you can stack. But not only are they differently shaped, you’re also challenged to pile them on a Snorlax that’s sleeping in a hammock. You need to balance the Pikachu correctly the hammock will tip over. Not that Snorlax would be bothered by that.

You can import it from Japanese store Megatoy for ~$20 (USD), but you can also get it from eBay seller ton-japan for $50.

Snorlax Bed: Zzzzzzs… Gotta Catch ‘em All

I don’t know much about Pokémon, but I know that Snorlax likes to sleep. I mean, really likes to sleep. You really can’t keep this guy awake. All I know is that big guys like him get sleepy after a meal. You’ve seen all kinds of Snorlax merchandise, and now I present the Snorlax bed.

Etsy artist Catherine Kim made this awesome Snorlax bed. It’s perfect for the young Pokémon trainer who is tuckered out from trying to catch them all. This bed is almost six feet long, so if you curl up nice and tight, adults might be able to fit on it too.

It’s priced at $288(USD), but since it has to be sent all the way from Seoul, South Korea, it’s bound to cost quite a bit to ship. To keep shipping weight down, Catherine doesn’t include the cotton stuffing for the head and body.

Looks pretty comfy. Try not to sink too deep into his soft fatness. You might get stuck.

Snorlax Pillow: For Snoring and Relaxing

While it’s no Slaking, the Snorlax is one lazy Pokémon. In fact, he only awakens to eat 900 pounds of food, then goes right back to sleep. So there’s no better Pokémon to keep you company in bed than a Snorlax.

So start saving your pennies now, and order this Snorlax pillow that’s perfect for catching naps in between meals. It’s available for pre-order now from Toys Logic for $39.99(USD), and is expected to start shipping on 6/30/14 – assuming it doesn’t sleep through that date.

Only one problem I can see with this thing is that it might wake you in the middle of the night to eat.

You’ll Be Snoring on this Pokémon Snorlax Bean Bag

I’ve never been able to keep up on all the different Pokémon. Somewhere around Pikachu and Squirtle, I lose track. Though, I’m definitely familiar with Snorlax, a big, roly-poly guy who looks like the fattest, laziest Pokémon in all of Kanto. In fact, his abilities include “Thick Fat” and “Gluttony”. I’m not kidding. Now, you can take a nap on his big Poké-belly, courtesy of the Snorlax bean bag chair.

This full-size bean bag chair is handmade by Ashley over at A Geek Boutique. It looks like the perfect place to curl up and count ‘em all (and I’m talking about sheep, not Pokémon). Thankfully, it weighs just a few pounds – way less than the 1014 pounds that an actual Snorlax weighs. If Snorlaxes actually existed, that is.

So gather up all your Pokédollars, and head on over to Etsy to order your very own Snorlax bean bag. It’s $299(USD) – not including the beans – in order to cut down on shipping cost, but she’ll sell you the beans too if you’re okay with the extra cost. I’ve been told that the Snorlax has a taste for refried beans, so you might want to go with those.
