I am not the most organized person. Sure, I can organize my notes and files but when it comes to things like my books, journaling stuff, and especially my clothes, you’ll find them strewn around in different parts of my apartment. I will occasionally get the urge to fix stuff but most of the time, I live in my own world of organized chaos. Of course, I want to improve this part of myself so if there are accessories or furniture that can help me out, I would be interested. This is the claim of this concept for a minimal mini-cabinet, although it’s hard for me to imagine how it will help me change my storage habits.

Evelopper is a concept for an alternative clothing storage solution that doesn’t involve using your couch, bed, or even exercise system to “store” various pieces of clothing. At first glance it looks like a stereo or a mini dishwasher or just a piece of furniture to store stuff. Well, it is indeed the latter but more specifically, it’s to help organize your clothes and other related accessories. It’s basically like a bookshelf but there are separate hangers for various sizes of clothes. There’s also trays in various sizes on top of the cabinet where you can place watches, jewelry, and other accessories related to your outfit or getup.

Aside from storage, the cabinet also has a UV light to sanitize your clothes. This may not be a feature that is important to a lot of people whose clothes are mostly clean if they’re put into cabinets or storage (or so we assume) but for those who are concerned about getting rid of germs before wearing clothes, this will be a bonus point. It comes in three color options: navy blue to allow it to blend in most color schemes, classic white for a clean feel, and dark green for “stability and antiquity”. You can also open and close the cabinet through various controls located at the top.

It would have been more interesting if the renders showed how actual clothes would look in this cabinet. Because of the size and the product renders that don’t show any clothes, I have a hard time imagining how it would help me become more organized. Also, with the amount of clothes that I have, I would probably need several pieces of the Evelopper which would defeat the minimalist purpose. So probably I should start by getting rid of a lot of clothes in order to truly live a minimalist lifestyle.

One packaged set features 16 individual plastic concave square parts that can be easily plugged in and connected to create a compact storage for your moving home or vehicle. The extra side connecting pieces can be removed to fit most cupboards.

The Froli All-Purpose Holder can be assembled to accommodate cups and glasses of different sizes and shapes. You can also stack the units at different heights to accommodate taller objects like bottles or wine glasses. Of course, the higher the tower you make, the better it can support the objects.

Owning a bike in a busy city brings with it its own set of responsibilities. You’ve got to have the best lock for street parking, learn the different traffic rules, and keep up with the maintenance of the bike to ensure its ride-ability. Owning a bike in a busy city is a dance you have to learn, but once you do it’ll be smooth riding ahead. The designers at Riders Gonna Ride know the dance well and have created Bike Box, a storage solution for bikes and their cyclists, to help make the ride that much smoother.

While Riders Gonna Ride is a lifestyle brand whose roots come from mountain biking, Bike Box is a storage solution designed for bikers everywhere– from the mountains to the city streets. Bike Box is modular by design and built from black CDF and beech wood to ensure a versatile, yet durable storage unit. Constructed like a storage unit for a professional locker room, Bike Box’s frame is built from CDF, or Compact Density Fibreboards, a highly compressed material often chosen for its water-resistant and long-lasting nature. The storage found on each Bike Box is made available through a peg and socket system of wooden pegs and accompanying sockets. When customized to hang your bike or orient shelving units, the pegs can be positioned however each bike owner sees fit.

There are currently five different storage units available from Riders Gonna Ride, each varying in size and storage capabilities. While the bike mount can either be mounted onto the Bike Box itself, it also can function as a wall mount to keep the Bike Box open to store supplementary bike accessories like helmets, sports gear, and carrying cases on the shelves that can be made through Bike Box’s modular setup.

Following a peg-and-socket hanging method, bike owners can customize the storage unit’s configuration to hang all their gear.

By configuring the wooden pegs, bike owners can hang everything from helmets to their bikes, to street clothes.

With different sizes available, the Bike Box can fit into any city space.

While the larger units might take up more physical space, their storage capacity increases with size.

The bike mounts can either be installed right onto the Bike Box or the wall.

Small units come with enough room to store your bike and draw in most of its frame, while not taking up too much space in your apartment.

Shelving units can be configured through the bike’s modular design.

Just like this snug shelving system by Juz Interior, we have gathered some interesting storage designs that are sure to declutter your cluttered lives!

VG Studio’s Band Rail looks like a typical wooden handrail accompanying an ordinary staircase at first glance, providing you with support as you amass your expansive home. However look a little deeper, and you realize it functions as a bookcase as well! Wooden ‘gills’ mimicking the gills of a fish adorn the entire length of the handrail.
