Candy Filled Resin Coffee Table Is One Sweet Piece of Furniture

Been looking all over for the perfect coffee table to compliment your candy-themed living room? Well, look no further, my eccentric friend, because Etsy seller ServedSweett has created the $1,697 Original Candy Coffee Table Ⓒ. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I need like ten cavities filled just looking at it. Although it probably would be handy to have around in the event of the apocalypse since you could always chisel some candy out for a snack.

Each 44″L x 22″W x 19″ H coffee table is made of candy-filled resin approximately 1.5″ thick, with whatever candy is available at the time of your order. Or you can even suggest specific candy or a particular color palette. But you can suggest the addition of beef jerky? I’m still awaiting the response to my email.

Willy Wonka would be proud. Or maybe disappointed there isn’t any Wonka brand candy in the table. And even if there was Wonka brand candy in the table, he would probably be proud you used his brand but disappointed you didn’t eat the candy and made a table out of it instead. He’s a complicated man. One who yelled at me for trying to take a bite out of his hand to see if he’s made of chocolate. He’s not, just to be clear.

Giant Ice Cream Cone Planter: You Have to Eat Your Greens

Wafer cones: they’re everyone’s least favorite kind of ice cream cone behind waffle and sugar. Me? I’ve always been more of a sundae-in-a-cup man myself. But enough making myself hungry. This is the giant Safe-T Cup ice cream cone planter created by Rotary Hero and available at Urban Outfitters for $55. I can already imagine myself pretending to take a bite out of it to entertain dinner guests. Add a plant and it makes it look like you’re growing dessert! Although not a dessert I’d be inclined to finish my plate to be rewarded with. Finish my greens just to eat more greens? Nice try, mom! Also, I’m pretty sure that plant is poisonous.

The durable plastic planter measures approximately 26″ tall and has an 8″ opening in which to place a plant. Of course, if you actually do put a plant inside instead of eight gallons of ice cream and trying to eat it all in one sitting, what are you even doing with your life? Not the same thing I’m doing, that’s for sure.

Freeze-Dried Candy: For Topping Your Astronaut Ice Cream

Because nothing says I’m eating like an astronaut like freeze-dried foods, this is the collection of freeze-dried candies available from Etsy shop Stellar Rabbit Foods. Available in Rainbow Puffs (Skittles), Worm Puffs (gummy worms), Mega Blasts (Starburst) and Tart Puffs (SweetTARTS) varieties, each 1-ounce bag costs $8 and is sure to put a smile on your face, and a cavity in that smile.

Just what does the freeze-drying process do to candy? Well according to the company, it “transforms once chewy candies into an airy, light, crunchy and melt in your mouth texture. The process of freeze-drying our candy intensifies the flavors making them even better than before! Take a moment and savor flavor before crunching down into them!” Yum! I think it goes without saying I just ordered a bag of each.

I remember when I was a kid I would eat a bar of chalky, freeze-dried ice cream and daydream about traveling among the stars. Now I’m afraid to travel higher than the third floor of any building and cry on Ferris wheels. Long story short, I’m not an astronaut.

Bake a Giant Party-Size Twinkie with This Official Baking Kit

You know what the problem with Twinkies is? They simply aren’t big enough. Like who only eats just one ten-count box? Nobody I know, but admittedly I only truly know myself. Introducing the Hostess Party Size Twinkies Holiday Baking Kit, obviously one of only a handful of good things to come out of 2020.

Available from Walmart for $15, the kit includes a yellow cake mix, creme filling mix, baking pan, and instructions. You just need to provide vegetable oil, eggs, water, and heavy cream, and you’ll have yourself a 2,600-calorie Twinkie in no time! I can already feel my pants tightening.

Um, is that kid okay? You’re not feeding him ONLY Twinkies, right? Because my brother was raised on nothing but Little Debbie Star Crunches and that did not work out very well for him. Also, what happens when I want to make my SECOND party-size Twinkie? Because now that I already have the pan, where do I get more Twinkie cake and creme mixes? Or did you not expect anyone to make a second giant Twinkie? Because if that’s the case I feel like I was seriously underestimated.

Chocolate Anatomy: Organs Never Tasted This Sweet

Organ Chocolate

Care to take a bite out of an ear or a heart, or maybe even a pair of lungs? We’re not talking about actual human organs, of course, because that’s just wrong. Rather, we’re talking about the unusually-shaped chocolate that Visual Anatomy has whipped up, just in time for Halloween.

There are about 20 different chocolate body parts to choose from. Take your pick from brains to livers and bones to skulls molded from milk and white chocolate.

Organ Chocolate1

There are a bunch of other organs in the mix that are pretty hard to identify (but maybe that’s because biology is one of my worst subjects ever.) A box of sixteen pieces of anatomical sweets is priced at $30.95.

Yes, Blue Cheese Lollipops Exist Now

Love lollipops? Have a taste for blue cheese? Then you’ll probably love gourmet lollipop company Lollyphile’s newest offering: blue cheese lollipops. Lollyphile is known for coming up with unusual, if not sometimes scandalous lollipop flavors, like Sriracha and Breast Milk (ewww.)

blue cheese lollipops 1

The blue cheese lollipops were only recently launched, along with a series of promotional images that can be described as downright scary. I get that they’re going with a blue theme, given that it’s blue cheese and all, but I don’t think they had to go and use Effie Trinket as their model.

Blue Cheese Lollipops

The lollipops are described as being “sharp, tasty, and edgy.” Since blue cheese is often paired with honey, it was apparently easy to combine both flavors to make the lollipop into a reality.

Lollyphile’s owner, Jason Darling, explains that the blue cheese lollipops “started off as a joke.” He adds: “I was initially scared to try them. My partner, Maria, wasn’t, and she instantly declared it to be delicious. Once I was convinced that she wasn’t pranking me I took a taste, and I had no choice but to agree with her. They’re delicious. I mean, if you like blue cheese. And who doesn’t?”

If your taste buds are up to the challenge, you can order up a batch of blue cheese lollies starting at $10(USD) over at Lollyphile.

Healthy Sweets? Vegetable Candy in Green Beans, Carrots, and Corn Flavors

Vegetable Candy

Can’t get your kids to eat their greens? Want something healthier than bacon candy to satisfy your sweet tooth? Then check out this tin of Fresh Vegetable Candy from McPhee.

Each can is filled with an assortment of hard candy in three delectable-to-vegans-and-vegetarians flavors: green beans, carrots, and corn. So they probably don’t contain much nutrients because you’d have to eat the actual, unprocessed veggies for that, but it’s a neat treat to give kids so they’ll get used to the taste of these healthy greens and oranges.

…If you’re a vegetarian, this is a perfect way to answer to someone who insists on eating Bacon Candy in front of you. It is especially fun to see the look on kid’s faces when they taste these – a mixture of horror and delight!

That way, they’re less likely to refuse when you feel them the real thing. At least, in theory.

The Vegetable Candy tins are priced at $5.95.

The Work of David Lynch in Edible Form by Miss Insomnia Tulip

Blue Velvet Cake Pops

The work of David Lynch in film is unparalleled, to say the least. But when it comes to the cake pop artistry sphere, there are few who can challenge Miss Insomnia Tulip’s skill and talent.

You might have heard about Miss Insomnia Tulip before when her anatomical macarons and Women in Horror cake pop series went viral. She’s back again with another deliciously artistic creation, this time featuring the work of David Lynch. Hit the break for more–including the cake pop for Twin Peaks, which happens to be my favorite from her series.
