First There Was TriceraTACO… Then There Was NACHOsaurus

A while back, we checked out a silly triceratops that doubled as a taco holder. The same company would go on to create TACOsaurus Rex, and now we have the NACHOsaurus. Inspired by the spiny-backed herbivore known as the stegosaurus.

Instead of bony plates along its back, the NACHOsaurus has a spot there for you to fill with snacks. Ideally, you’d use tortilla chips for the proper effect, though this guy is happy to hold crackers, pretzels, nuts, or even french fries on his back. The food-safe plastic snack set also comes with a two-compartment dip bowl which looks like something Dino would have eaten out of The Flintstones.

The NACHOsaurs snack and dip set is just $14.99 over on Amazon, where you can also find TACOsaurus Rex and TriceraTACO for the same price.

The Burrito Blanket Looks Like a Giant Tortilla

Do you like burritos? So do I. So it’s no wonder that this burrito-inspired blanket is making my mouth water. It looks just like the delicious, slightly charred dough from a flour tortilla, but human-sized. I’ve been to a place that sells burritos as big as your head, but never ones this big.

While you or your kids can fit inside of these, I don’t recommend trying to take a bite, nor do I suggest slathering the inside of the blanket (or your family members) with beans, rice, sour cream, cheese, guacamole, pico de gallo, and grilled meat. Though if you do, at least this thing’s microfiber polyester fabric is machine washable.

The burrito blanket comes in a variety of prints, ranging from lightly toasted to well done, and in 47″, 60″, and 71″ sizes over on Amazon.

The Giant Tortilla Towel Is Perfect for Burrito Beach

If you’ve ever wanted to wrap yourself up in a blanket of flour, this $35 Tortilla Towel is what you’ve been looking for. Each side is printed with a different photo-realistic tortilla. Now you can be a beach burrito and bake in the sun.

Check out the video which shows how you can lay in this thing and turn yourself into all sorts of tortilla related dishes. Some people say this looks like an old ratty towel with a bunch of stains as opposed to a tortilla, but they’re just jealous they can’t fold themselves within it’s awesomeness.

Actually, they may have a point. Unless you know what it is supposed to be, it kind of looks like like a dog peed all over it. Nevermind. Sorry I even brought it up.

This Record Is Made out of an Uncooked Flour Tortilla, Really Plays

Who knew that tortillas were so versatile? Not only can they wrap food, but it turns out that they can act as a record and play music if you use a laser cutter to etch grooves into its floury surface. We have video proof here. Vinyl is dead. Long live the flour tortilla.

We have YouTube user Rapture Records to thank for this craziness. This guy better clean the needle on that record player. I have a feeling it is pretty clogged right about now.  Tortillas really are the most versatile food product that we have. What else can we use them for?

Too bad tortilla records would be crazy expensive. They cost too much dough.

Wrap Up Your BurriTOT in This Tortilla Swaddle Blanket

Raising a kid is a huge responsibility (and from what I’ve seen my sister go through so far, it’s also the cause of many pains and frustrations.) But the fun thing about babies is that you can dress them up in whatever clothes you want, and they don’t have any say because, well, they don’t really care.

This isn’t exactly an article of clothing. It’s actually a swaddle blanket and it’s designed to turn your baby into a burriTOT! (Sorry, couldn’t resist!) The blanket itself looks like a gigantic tortilla, and your baby is the filling.

Don’t be surprised when people’s heads turn your way when your baby’s wrapped in this and you happen to be out and about, because it’ll probably look like you’re embracing a gigantic burrito.
