Microhaus has been constructed using 3D-printed structural components and arrives move-in ready with a kitchenette, double bed, bathroom, and plenty of storage. “The Microhaus also comes with our fully integrated Cloud Self-Diagnosis System, which provides a new generation of Smart Home amenities, full remote control, and machine learning,” explains Haus.me CEO, Max Gerbut.

The Microhaus measures 120 square feet and can be fully assembled within a few minutes! The composite structure is supremely durable, its yacht-inspired exterior is made from fiberglass, stainless steel, and teak. It has a modern, futuristic yet overall minimal aesthetic.

It is one of the most advanced micro-apartments in the world and to complement its high-tech capabilities, the tiny, portable dwelling has a sleek exterior and interior. The exterior is composed of rounded fiberglass and stainless steel whereas the interior is layered with warm wooden details and illuminated by natural light.

“The unit comes with an array of high-tech features, including a motorized door, touchless access, touchless faucets, adaptive lights, and air-quality sensors” adds Gerbut.

Not only is it mobile and flexible, it is also energy efficient and has low operating costs. The durable unit is made from eco-friendly materials that are safe for both people and the environment.

The mobile home is durable but also lightweight, making it a far better choice than any other trailer home or glamper on the market.

Mirohaus’ interior has a sun-kissed vibe thanks to its extensive glazing and large windows. It features white custom cabinetry contrasts with the natural wood elements found throughout the space.

One of the most futuristic details about Microhaus is the keyless entry and a tight security system that can be all controlled via an app.

The sleeping area has plenty of storage space and includes a floor-to-ceiling cabinetry unit with a lit wardrobe.

The bed is cushy and has a TV installed for an optimized Netflix and Chill experience. Under the TV is a spacious niche for books or snacks!

The sweeping windows bring in plenty of natural light and your favorite views so park your home wisely!

There is a large mirror across the kitchenette which helps to visually open up the interior space some more.

Microhaus has a lot of hidden storage and the cabinet separating the sleeping area and the pantry can be opened up into a sliding desk.

The studio home is perfect for one person who leads a flexible and sustainable lifestyle.

The kitchenette is also fully stocked with utensils and includes a smart waste disposal bin.

The sleeping zone also doubles up as a living space during the daytime.

The tiny house features a cozy bathroom with a full-sized shower and toilet.

“We designed the Microhaus to be the perfect income-producing asset. “Offered at an affordable price, the structure requires no additional approvals or construction permits, and it comes with very little maintenance costs. Overall, it has the potential to provide a fully remote-controlled business, if desired, with a fast return on investment,” says Gerbut. The best part? No roommates, fully furnished, and full freedom to move anywhere while taking your little home with you!

This trailer expands into a 6 people camper with a big al fresco dining adventure!

It has been over six months of being in pandemic-lockdown for me so forgive my obsession with campers, I am just constantly planning getaways in my head and each trip comes with a different mobile home. The latest addition to my list is the Mobi X camper by Mobi Nomads.

This is a multi-application trailer camper that comes packed with their latest features and customization options. The teardrop-shaped trailer’s most distinctive element is the rooftop tent! Mobi X can host up to six people with enough sleeping places, a toilet, a shower, and a kitchen. Mobi Nomads is a South-African company and has incorporated some of their road trip experiences into the selection of certain features like the trailer’s rear hatch that lifts to reveal a shallow galley, with a swing-away that accesses a large slide-out which brings out a fridge and storage cabinet – how amazing is that?! It also has a drop-down side hatch that exposes a dual-burner stove and work surface complete with large pantry space for utensils and ingredients. Cooking outdoors is a big part of the experience and Mobi makes the most of it! In fact, their standard package already comes stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and containers as a part of the standard package.

“Mobi X is an extremely capable and tough camper. It comes fully kitted and ready to camp and has standard features like 15 amp ACDC charger, 2.7 bar water pressure system, 150 lt water tank, water heater, 7 LED lights, heavy-duty roof rack with permanent ladder,” elaborates the team. Mobi X is not like a private-jet-level luxury camper but it is designed for adventure! It is fairly easy to set up, cozy, compact and the next step is for us to make our road trip bucket lists because now I can only think about opening up the tent and making some smores!

A luxury electric RV that was designed by an aircraft engineer for a zero-emissions trip!

The pandemic has made many of us skeptical about air travel and has made road trips a more popular choice! People are more open to taking campers and exploring less crowded spots for a change of place after being cooped up in their homes for weeks. Those with an itch to travel have found quarantine difficult but the Bowlus Road Chief (Performance Edition) is here to give them the luxury trip of their dreams – yes, it probably costs as much as an international trip with first-class tickets with a price tag of $225,000. But current times, you are better off buying a luxury camper than a private jet, especially one that reduces your carbon footprint!

The Bowlus Road Chief is truly the chief of luxury campers with its high-end features that enable a zero-emissions trip. The 26 feet long camper can house four people with sleepings and dining zones. It is no less than a hotel room with huge skylights in the main cabin crafted by the company’s best artisans to bring the outdoors inside and are optimized for stargazing. The skylights are made in the iconic the Bowlus Road Chief shape which allows for full tensile strength to transmit along the Road Chief exterior armor-like shell. The expensive RV is complete with an outdoor kitchen equipped with a 110V outlet and propane outlet. The set up lets each owner customize the fittings to their needs like induction cooktops, propane BBQ’s, or even a margarita blender are ready to plug and play. “The Bowlus Road Chief is as exquisite as it is distinctive. Like any fine work of art, the Road Chief is the result of spectacular design and meticulous craft. There is nothing in the world like a Bowlus Road Chief adventure,” says Geneva Long, CEO.

Originally conceived by aircraft builder, designer, and engineer Hawley Bowlus in 1934, the RV still shows its history in its aerodynamic, almost space shuttle-like shape which makes it stand apart from the usual breadbox-shaped trailers. The electrical power system is designed to make sustainable travel effortless and hassle-free. The yacht quality pure sine inverter has been upgraded from the previous models to 3,000W for the Performance Edition. The lithium iron phosphate system’s capacity is doubled to 600 Ah/7680Wh for up to two weeks of off-grid battery use which makes long road trips possible without comprising the comfort of luxury facilities. A super impressive feature is that the system charges just in 3-4 hours for an RV that size and the entire power management system is connected via Bluetooth + the internet so that all critical data is easily accessible on your smartphone. Luxurious but also smart, energy-efficient, and safe in a pandemic for you to travel while being socially distant!

This tiny mobile home uses aerodynamics to reduce energy consumption by 15%

At the time of writing this, half of 2020 was over and there were mixed feelings of relief and anticipation. Relief because we made it so far (including the Mayan doomsday prediction!) and anticipation because is it going to now turn into ‘Jumanji The Next Level’ or can we start figuring out our travel plans? Either way, we can all agree we need a break and a change of scene from our homes, and the only safe way to get both those things is through a tiny mobile home like the Alto 2124!

The Alto series by Canadian motorhome company, Safari Condo, is a range of high-functioning trailers that can double up as a mobile home or as a camper. They also happen to be environmentally friendly while being ultralight and aerodynamic. The frame of the trailer uses composite materials and Alufiber aluminum which has a honeycomb structure that makes it as strong as fiberglass. The wedge-shaped trailer comes fully equipped for you to actually live there full time if you wanted to with all essential appliances and provisions for a stove, water systems and power. “The newest Safari Condo seems perfect for anyone who wants to bring the comfort of home to the outside world while spewing fewer greenhouse gases into the atmosphere in the process. The wedge-shaped trailer uses 15% less energy while being towed than the company’s earlier models, in spite of being roughly 900 pounds heavier than the latter trailer,” says the team.

At 2,568 lbs, the A2124 is light enough to be towed by a regular Subaru Outback. Another similar model, 2414, stands at 2,947 lbs as it provides more space due to its traditional rectangular shape. Both the trailers fit within the 5000 lbs towing capacity of a Tesla Model X which was used to test the mobile campers on the streets. The build is aerodynamically-optimized to save energy as well as reduce cost and pollution related to fuel while still making the most of its compact space – suited for four people to live in complete with a dining area, kitchen, shower, toilet, a swivel wardrobe, plenty of storage and separate sleeping zones! If we are moving towards a flexible remote lifestyle, then I would like to turn it into a long road trip with this environmentally friendly tiny home-camper!

Tiny homes made of shipping containers for the millennial home owners

Tiny homes are a fast-growing trench in the architectural world and why wouldn’t they be? The upcoming consumer is the millennial generation and tiny homes are perfect given the skyrocketing prices for real estate and avocados. Handcrafted Movement is a company that is here to bridge that gap between homes and budgets, in their words they have been created to create – what better motto when you build beautiful spaces right?

One of their projects that I absolutely loved was the Pacific Harbor model. The details truly show the team’s wanderlust and craftsmanship. It is built on a 30’x8.5’ triple axel Iron Eagle trailer – compact, convenient and classy. The interiors are kept light and breezy to manifest the feeling of spaciousness. The tiny home includes a downstairs flex area that can be turned into a bedroom or home office, a sleeping loft in the back, stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and a Mini-Split System for air conditioning and heating. The exterior features Board & Batt, black-framed windows, cedar accents, a cedar post & deck system.

The house has lots of natural sunlight given the wide windows and a charming little table for sharing food on. The colors perfectly compliment the structure and make is inviting. It is a perfect set up for one or two people with enough space while saving space. Tiny houses always amaze me because they showcase the maximum optimization of every corner without ever giving you the feeling of “small” – in fact, they always make the heart feel bigger because of how thoughtfully they are made.
