Traditional high-liter jug thermoses, while efficient for storing larger quantities, fail to accommodate the diverse beverage preferences of each group member. Imagine a scenario: a group of friends enjoying a picnic in the park, or colleagues collaborating on a project in the office. Each individual might have a different beverage preference – tea, coffee, or perhaps something cold to beat the heat. Conventional thermoses fall short of accommodating these diverse tastes. People are forced to compromise on their choice of beverage, which can lead to dissatisfaction and a lack of enjoyment during the activity.

Moreover, the existing thermos designs necessitate carrying multiple glasses and even an extra bag to store both the thermos and the glasses, adding unnecessary workload to the participants. The need for a solution that addresses these issues led to the conception of ThermoBag.

ThermoBag’s design is a marvel in itself, tailored to offer a seamless experience during group activities. The product consists of two individual thermoses, each with a generous 790 mL capacity, and an intermediate structure connecting them. This design caters to both small groups of 1-2 people (using one bottle) and larger groups of 2-4 people (utilizing both bottles). No more worrying about carrying extra glasses or bags – ThermoBag ensures that everything you need is conveniently stored in one place.

However, in case of groups larger than 5 people may have to carry an odd number of bottles, in which case it may get heavy and may have to carry an additional bottle, a modular twist to the design would definitely make it a complete package for activities of all kinds as well as for all permutations of the number of people it can serve.

The first lock position on the lid allows easy pouring, while the second lock position permits complete lid removal.

This travel tea flask comes with a built-in infuser to give you the best brew without messy tea bags!

Inspired and derived from Chinese tea culture, Chá is a travel tea flask that brings the ritual of brewing tea at home back into making tea on the go.

Making your first cup of tea in the morning feels like a ritual. Like clockwork, the water boils, the flavor of tea leaves seep into your cup, and the tea is ready to be enjoyed while you curl up next to a window and read. Having tea on the go is a little different. When we make tea in stainless steel, thermal bottles, we can’t see how strong we’re making it and our tea-making rituals are always cut short. Chá is a travel tea flask that ties the ritual back into making tea on the go, born from a collaboration between Chinese EV maker Nio and UAL’s Central Saint Martins.

Chá is a travel tea bottle that can switch between a tea infuser and a regular thermal water bottle. Topped with a transparent lid, Chá allows each user to witness the seeping process while brewing tea to ensure their desired tea strength is achieved. With a handy rubber strap, users can even brew their tea with the bottle strapped to their backpack. The brewing process of Chá is just like filling a water bottle, but the lid of Chá features a compartment where users can place tea bags near a built-in infuser and transparent section that reveals the strength of each brew.

The built-in infuser opens with a turn of the bottle’s lid, then the user can turn Chá upside down and watch as their water darkens with tea. If users want to only drink water, then the infuser can be just as easily closed and Chá can be filled with fresh water to be used as a regular water bottle. Ergonomic and inviting by design, Chá combines style with the traditional ritual of tea making.

Explaining the brewing process, the designers behind Chá describe, “Twisting the two halves of the opaque lid against one another to form an ‘O’ or a horizontal ‘S’, opens or closes the infuser respectively. An open infuser allows the contents of its flask to infuse with each other. Enabling the infuser and flipping the flask upside down exposes the water to the tea leaves for infusion while the user can monitor for their desired thickness of the tea through the transparent lid.”

Following several ideations, the final form of Chá envisions a subdued, yet bright blush pink stainless steel bottle with silicone elements and a transparent upper lid.

When I travel, I usually like to carry almost everything I’ll need! I hate scurrying about in a new city, trying to find a box of my favorite toothpaste, and then settling for one that just tastes weird in my mouth. If you’re anything like me, then you’re one of those ‘super organized travelers’. And I don’t care what anyone says, because I love being one! And you should do you as well! A handy bottle is something I carry along with me, no matter what. You never know when you might want to hydrate yourself. But water bottles can be usually pretty bulky, and their travel editions are not so pleasing to the eyes. Hence, Jiia Liu’s colorful little travel bottle is a blessing in disguise!

Called SATURNBIRD, the travel bottle comes in two variations – 300 and 450ml respectively. You can pick a size depending upon your needs! And here’s the interesting bit, the bottle pairs up perfectly with the SATURNBIRD COFFEE pods! Liu also designed a bunch of coffee pods. There are six options with diverse strengths and flavors! Ranging from light to medium to dark, the coffee pods are extremely easy to carry and work perfectly with the travel bottle! You simply slip off the cap of the bottle, which is snuggly fitted into the mouth of the bottle. Add in the coffee concentrate of your choice, and you have your daily dose of caffeine ready to go! Of course, Liu’s bottle can be used to carry water and other beverages of your choice as well.

Its sleek and ergonomic form ensures that it can easily fit into your backpacks, bicycle, or even your hands! Not to mention, Liu also designed a special carrier bag for SATURNBIRD. It’s a nifty sling pouch that you can carry in your hands! Besides being a super functional water bottle + on-the-go coffee mug, SATURNBIRD is also quite aesthetically and visually pleasing! I love the sunny yellow and clean white color options that Liu provides. It’s the kind of travel bottle you would love to carry with you, anywhere anytime!
