These Oktoberfest Inspired Adidas Sneakers Can Repel Spilt Beer

In the spirit of Germany’s favorite holiday, Oktoberfest, Adidas has come up with a pair of sneakers perfect for complimenting the German festivities.

The Adidas München are similar to traditional Adidas Three-Stipe sneakers, but are designed after traditional German lederhosen which are popular during the event. They look great, but what’s much cooler is that they are made with a specific coating made to repel water, and more importantly, beer. So, you won’t ruin your nice kicks by spilling a glass of beer (or twelve).

They look really cool, but they’ll set you back about €200 without tax or shipping. Plus, there’s only a few sizes left in stock. Hopefully, they’ll come back before next year’s event.

People Confused Marilyn Manson With Charles Manson and Mourned Him on Twitter

If you haven’t heard, Charles Manson died on Monday after spending 46 years in prison for, well you know. Well, apparently people forget which Manson was the crazy cult leader and which was a hard rock icon and mourned Marilyn Manson on Twitter.

The rocker does take his namesake from the deceased cult leader, combining Charles Manson and Marilyn Monroe for a contradictory name, but it doesn’t really mean you should confuse the two. To be fair, some of these tweets seem a little tongue-in-cheek, but let’s not pretend that everyone on Twitter is working with a full-deck.

Airbnb Is Offering One Winner To Stay In A Life-Size Lego House

Airbnb is partnering with Lego to offer the winner of a contest to spend the night with their family at the Lego House in Billund, Denmark.

Features of the Lego House include furniture made of Legos (duh), including life-sized armchairs, a Lego TV, walls, rugs, pillows, and even cats made of Legos. Thankfully, the bed itself is a foam pad, but it is surrounded in essentially a ball pit of Legos, so there’s that. There’s even a Lego molding press, just in case you have a Lego emergency and need more Legos.

The contest is simple, answer the question ‘If you and your family had an infinite supply of LEGO bricks, what would you build?’ and the winner will be chosen based on originality, creativity, and responsiveness.

If I were answering, I’d say “With an infinite supply of Legos, I’d build my own Lego house, and let people rent it out through Airbnb. Also the person reading this is very handsome.” You don’t think that would work? How do you think I landed this writing job?

Swearball Let’s You Record Foul Language And Hurl It At People

Swearball is toy that lets you say a short message into it and throw it at people, once its lands, it’ll play back the message recorded to it. So one of you co-workers could burn the coffee, Ryan, obviously it was Ryan; then you take this ball and record a message into it like ‘Ryan, you [censored]. You’re such a [censored] [censored] for [censored] up the coffee again. I hope you [censored] [censored] [censored].’

Of course, you don’t have to get called into HR for using your new toy. You could always buy a Swearball and record messages of encouragement (and then hurl them at people). ‘Hey Jim, good job with those sales.’ or ‘Doing a super job Oscar!’ or 1‘great work with those files Pam!’

Swearball is available for $20, not a bad [censored] deal.

Joel Osteen Impersonator Crashes Event Causing Subtle Havoc

We’ve all seen videos of celebrity impersonators going around city streets and causing a bit of chaos as fans crowd around trying to get their autograph/picture, but this one’s a little different. When Comedian Michael Klimkowski, who looks quite a bit like mega church pastor Joel Osteen, deciding to impersonate the celebrity, he did so at one of Osteen’s massive events and managed to trick staff into letting roam around freely.

He tricks everyone from fans, to staff and even the event’s security, and he manages to get to the actual stage of the massive arena. He ends up being caught, but technically he didn’t commit any crimes. Later, even the real police thought the whole thing was funny.
