This Kung Fu Panda LEGO Build Lets You Recreate the Po vs Tai Lung Fight Yourself

Tai Lung might be the best villain DreamWorks Animation ever put on screen. Not because he’s the most powerful, or the most menacing, but because his grievance is genuinely sympathetic. He trained his entire life to receive the Dragon Scroll, was denied it by the master who raised him, and then spent years chained in a mountain prison nursing a rage that was, arguably, justified. The film never quite lets you root for him, but it absolutely lets you understand him, which is a far harder thing to pull off in a children’s animated movie.

That moral complexity makes him a fascinating subject for a LEGO build, and Memorph’s 1,300-piece Ideas submission leans right into it. The set captures Tai Lung mid-lunge, all coiled fury and airborne menace, with removable Chorh-Gom Prison chains that let you display him in either his fighting form or his captive one. This is a MOC (My Own Creation) with a genuine point of view, and it shows.

Po himself is a genuinely fun engineering challenge solved well. His belly is rendered as a single large smooth white sphere element, which captures the character’s rotund silhouette without resorting to awkward stacking. He carries his bamboo staff in one hand and a bowl of dumplings complete with chopsticks in the other, and his arms, wrists, legs, and neck all articulate, meaning you can cycle through kung fu poses to your heart’s content. The traveler’s hat, a wide dish piece in light tan, sits perfectly over his expressive brick-built face. “Po was a really fun character to build,” says Memorph, and you can feel that enthusiasm in every considered detail.

My favorite part of the whole build, though, is Tai Lung’s alternate display configuration. Detach him from the main scene, clip on the Chorh-Gom Prison chains, and suddenly you have a completely different piece of storytelling on your shelf. The gray chain-link elements wrap around his torso with just enough dramatic tension to evoke that mountain prison sequence, and his articulated tail curls behind him with the kind of coiled, barely-restrained energy the character radiates throughout the film. Memorph has said that Tai Lung’s face was the most challenging element of the entire build, and the result justifies every iteration. The orange accent tiles at the brow, the layered white and gray fur geometry of the head, and the overall aggressive posture all land exactly where they need to.

Pavo Fitness, started by a team of architects, industrial designers, and professional Pilates instructors, saw that as a solvable problem. The Pavo Reformer is their answer: a compact, foldable machine designed to bring studio-quality resistance training into a regular home.

Sneaker care has evolved into its own dedicated ritual for collectors and sports enthusiasts who’d rather not take chances with a stiff brush and soapy water. The typical cleaning routine still carries the risk of fading colors, weakening materials, or warping the structure of more delicate footwear. Brolan’s ClearX is a compact home machine that moves through cleaning, low-temperature drying, and sterilization all in one automated cycle.

Founded in 2025 by a team drawing from Nanyang Technological University, Harbin Institute of Technology, and Tsinghua University, Brolan designed ClearX specifically to clean without the harshness of manual scrubbing. The idea is to get footwear thoroughly clean without putting materials at risk, which matters most for anyone who owns suede, knit, or premium leather shoes that even a careful hand-wash can easily ruin.

Not everything in the InnoX lineup is about automation or performance tracking. REAZENABLE takes a different direction with the REAZE Sandstone Series, a collection that sits somewhere between smart lighting and decorative object, aimed at people who’d rather their home feel calmer than more connected. The brand’s philosophy, technology empowering nature and light reshaping emotion, gives a clear sense of where its priorities are.

The collection includes the Halo light and three aroma vessels, all made from sand-based materials and shaped with ribbed surfaces that recall an uneven lunar landscape. The technical structure is deliberately concealed within those soft architectural forms, so nothing on the shelf reads as a gadget. Atmospheric light, mineral textures, and scent work together into something that feels more like a ritual object than a piece of hardware.

Several other InnoX startups addressed more personal routines. Rootique brought the DUO, a scalp atomizing applicator using patented DuoTrace and IntelliMist technology for precise serum delivery in about 15 seconds, already validated through an Indiegogo campaign that found backers across 52 countries. OCJOY presented the OCJOY Air, a home micro-air oral cleaning system that brings a water-air-powder cleaning method from dental offices to your own countertop.

Prada designs a hidden Onesie that could keep NASA’s Artemis astronauts alive on the Moon

The fashion and home décor industry has, for years, looked toward space for inspiration. Prada is a brand that’s pushing through to be the first luxury fashion house to inspire space travel instead. For its new adventure in space, Prada has designed an inner-layer garment that astronauts aboard the NASA Artemis headed for the Moon will wear underneath their space suits.

For some fashion enthusiasts, this could come as a surprise, but the fact is, Prada has been working for a few years now with Axiom Space. Axiom is a private company that NASA has partnered with to develop spacesuits for its astronauts to wear on the upcoming Artemis missions.

Axiom Space and Prada first unveiled the Axiom Extravehicular Mobility Unit (AxEMU), a next-generation spacesuit, in 2024. “AxEMU is the first major upgrade to NASA’s space suits in more than 20 years,” and it is designed for NASA’s Artemis III mission and beyond. Now, believing the astronauts need a way to keep cool and oxygenated within the bulky space suit when on the lunar surface, Prada has introduced the garment to wear under the space suit, which has been part of the design process.

With the company’s signature red stripe on the sleeve, which is apparent on Prada’s activewear collection, the onesie called the Liquid Cooling Ventilation Garment (LCVG) will go under the space suit, as an innerwear (we cannot comment whether astronauts will need another layer of innerwear underneath). The LCVG is provided with tubes running around the back, which are used to circulate cold water around the astronaut’s body. The entire thing is designed in a high fashion sense, so the onesie is sleek and a complete wear in itself.

Designed primarily to keep the astronaut’s body from overheating while they walk on the moon, it is also provided with a ventilation system to deliver oxygen and remove carbon dioxide formed inside the AxEMU. Talking about the convenience and benefits of this finely crafted innerwear, the senior vice president of spacecrafts at Axiom Space informs, “Every minute astronauts spend outside their (lunar) vehicle, the LCVG is working to keep them safe.” Axiom’s CEO and president, Jonathan Cirtain, pointed out that the LCVG “…manages their (astronauts’) thermal environment, supports their breathing, and does it all while they’re pushing their bodies to the limit.”

NASA hopes to carry out the Artemis III mission, a crewed test flight, the second such mission in the Artemis lunar exploration program in 2027. And then eventually make the first crewed landing on the Moon’s south pole in preceding missions by early 2028. The Artemis campaign is NASA’s human spaceflight mission to land American astronauts on the surface of the Moon, establish a sustainable presence on the lunar surface, and form a foundation for future manned missions to the Red Planet.
