Gisele Bundchen was Sexiest Model in Chanel Show

Karl Lagerfeld does not reveal how old he is. Apparently he is still very young considering his amazing creativity that fuels the Chanel fashion brand. As reported yesterday, at the Paris fashion...

The Selfie Sombrero is Slightly More Embarassing Than the Zardoz Outfit

I’m just going to come out and say it: Tom Ford is not going to cosign this, and Daniel Craig won’t be wearing it in the next James Bond film. In fact, the Selfie Sombrero is probably Acer’s worst product of all time, and this photo on the left is only slightly less embarrassing than the one of Sean Connery in Zardoz on the right.

What’s worse is that Acer hired a professional fashion designer to create this monstrosity to promote one of the company’s tablets, and clearly got trolled hard. Design student/suspected prankster/coked out glitter fairy with an Instagram Christian Cowan-Sanluis is behind this, and also made a matching glitter suit for Lady Gaga, because why the hell not? Also, why is the model wearing a dyed yeti pelt crop top?

If you want to see this in person, possibly because you’re also into snuff films, hit up London Fashion Week and behold the horror.

Star Wars Hits the Runway at NY Fashion Week

Need some new, high fashion clothes? New York Fashion Week has you covered. Check out these Star Wars outfits seen here modeled by a group of women who don’t look like they’ve eaten a decent meal since 1999. These Star Wars dresses are designed by fashion house Rodarte.

They are floor-length embroidered gowns featuring the printed likenesses of Luke Skywalker, Master Yoda, C-3PO and R2-D2, Tatooine and the Death Star. Personally, I prefer my X-Wing Fighters going down a Death Star trench, not a runway in New York, but more Star Wars clothes are always welcome, I suppose.

Great show, girls. Now go eat a cracker or two. And just because you regurgitate every meal, that doesn’t mean that you get to be the Sarlacc Pit. Modeling is so silly.

HTC One X Cushnie et Ochs available on eBay, mobile-minded fashionistas ready their wallets (update: auction closed)

HTC One X Cushnie et Ochs available on eBay, mobileminded fashionistas ready their wallets

Remember that special edition One X for AT&T with the Cushnie et Ochs-approved exterior, and how HTC said it would never go on sale? Well, while HTC is sticking to its word, one of the 150 souls who grabbed one at MADE Fashion Week has decided to give the rest of us a crack at buying it via eBay auction. For folks interested in owning the half ebony, half ivory handset, the bidding currently starts at $360 -- though you can expect the phone to fetch a far greater price when the auction ends six days from now on September 17th.

Update: Looks like you've missed your chance, as the eBay auction has now been ended. We're not sure whether the seller got an offer they couldn't refuse, or a strongly worded letter from HTC. Either way, show's over.

[Thanks Dominic]

Google Glass makes catwalk debut at New York Fashion Week

Google Glass makes rare appearance at New York Fashion Week

Google Glass' early luxury brand pricing appears to have put it in good stead, with the elite at New York's Fashion Week getting an early close-up look at Google's wearable camera future. Diane von Furstenberg, who's no stranger to a tech tie-in, has added the lightweight frames to her latest show, using them to make a documentary about fashion's creative process. The project is set to appear on von Furstenberg's Google+ page later this week, but if you're not a world-renowned fashion designer (or model), we'd be paying more attention to that two-year wait.
